First time buyer So you've all heard those stories where you go to buy a new car and totally get screwed over and get a car you can't afford or is a piece of junk. Wel So you've all heard those stories where you go to buy a new car and totally get screwed over and get a car you can't afford or is a piece of junk. Well my experience was nothing like that. I have never bought a brand new car so I was a little nervous going in and test driving, again heard those horrible stories. I knew I had to go find a new car due to my car getting older and having a lot of miles. I had test drove a cx5 last January but I wasn't serious at the time and didn't really like that there wasn't much power (2.0 liter). My boyfriend is a Mazda fan all the way and talked me into going and test driving the 2.5 liter cx 5. When we got to the dealership Sal greeted us promptly and asked if we needed any help or had any questions. He then took us out for the test drive. I wasn't planning on purchasing a car that day but as soon as I got in the car I felt at home it. The car handled great, had enough power and got great gas mileage. When we got back to the dealership Sal handed us off to Robin (still not sure why this happened exactly) but she took me in the back and we found a peral white fully loaded 2015 cx5! Then the team of Hubert, Robin, and some other people started running the numbers. Because I am a first time buyer I listened and decided I needed to go home and talk to my parents. Hubert told me to drive the car home and show them and come back in the morning and we would discuss everything further. I explained that I needed my monthly payment at a certain amount and they worked with me so that I was able to get everything I wanted. Instead of feeling screwed over and regretting what I had done I now have a beautiful car sitting in my driveway!!! Hubert treated me with respect and took care of all the needs to make this sale final! I now have a dealership that I will refer friends, family, and continue to buy from for years to come. Thank you all for your hardwork, dedication, and care that you put into helping me buy my first car! More

I always thought that back in Sonora, Sierra Motors was accommodating (they were. But boy was I in for a surprise at Dolan. I want to thank Hubert your Manager, Jamie, Travis, Alfonso and Ben and everyone else I met on September 20th, 2014.. When I was told that I'm part of the Dolan family now, Hubert wasn't kidding. Bad Service - lying about service performed I bought a 2011 Mazda 6 in December 2011. It now has 30,913 miles on it. It has been in the shop four times for bad brakes. The third time it was i I bought a 2011 Mazda 6 in December 2011. It now has 30,913 miles on it. It has been in the shop four times for bad brakes. The third time it was in the service rep said it was a known problem and the brake pads would be replaced AFTER THE THIRD COMPLAINT. They supposedly changed the brake pads at 22,500 miles. The brakes once again failed at 30,600 miles. When I spoke to the service agent this morning he first tried to charge me $500 for new pads and rotors. After I explained this was a Mazda problem, not mine, he said the brake pads had never been replaced. They are replacing the brakes for free but wanted to charge $586.00 for the 30,000 mile service which, by there own estimate is basically an oil change and cabin and engine filter change. RUN FROM THESE GUYS!!!! I had a Toyota for 80,000 miles and changed the oil and the tires. Dan Wagner did have the guts to get me to buy a new Mazda when I dropped the car off for service yesterday. He gets Kudos for trying to sell to a disgruntled customer. More

I want to thank Michael Cochran (Mickey) for his professionalism in guiding me through the car buying experience. I purchased a new car for my daughter and Mr. Cochran was patient as I test drove m professionalism in guiding me through the car buying experience. I purchased a new car for my daughter and Mr. Cochran was patient as I test drove many vehicals. Mr. Cochran kept in contact with me as he searched for a vehical that I was looking for such as model, assessories and color. I felt a friendship was established through the buying process even though I have never met him before. I highly recommend Dolan Kia Dealership in buying a vehical. My daughter and I are extremely happy with her new Kia Soul Plus. More
We bought a used car from here a year ago. Perfectly happy made all of our payments on time. Dealership called us last month and said come in we will refinance your car and get you a better interest ra happy made all of our payments on time. Dealership called us last month and said come in we will refinance your car and get you a better interest rate. We said OK. We went in did paperwork with salesman Eric. We told him information he modified it in his handwriting to make it all look better. Our car payment was due the next day I was going to pay it online. They said don"t pay it give us $400 and we will take care of it. They could only get a slightly lower rate for us but had another bank that was going to call back. We were going to leave and try another time. Sales manager Hubert came in and said keep your $400 let us do this for you even if its only a little lower rate this will be good for your credit. We agreed. Went and sat down with Kameron the finance guy he said great news we got an even lower rate everything is wonderful. Great we started signing papers then he said we need $400. We said but Hubert said and back and forth. It was a good rate we gave him $400. Almost done signing papers and Kameron pushed the wrong button on his computer lost everything saved. He said don't worry i have everything I will redo and get this to you tomorrow. Oh and I need a copy of proof of your income. I went home and sent it to him. The next day he wanted my husbands proof of income and a copy of my divorce papers showing my child support. I sent these immediately. I asked about my car payment and was told don't pay it they would be paying it off. Five days later they call and want proof of hire date from husbands work because the timeline doesn't work because of salesman Eric changing info to look better. We get them a year to date statement from employer. Another week goes by and now we have a late fee due for car payment and they are still working on it. After another week they don't like the statement from employer and want another one. We call and talk to Brian. We are done at this point our good credit messed up and another car payment coming due. Brian said please let me try and fix this give me until tomorrow. We said ok. The next day we wait and wait for a call back finally called to talk to Brian and oh he is not working today we are told. Great. So today out of the blue Kameron sends me a text "still have not heard from bank". I am going to get my $400 and money for my late fee and will never go back to this dealership again. It is too bad this had been the second vehicle from Tom Dolan Auto Group I have purchased and now will tell everyone I know of my bad experience. Just want to say thanks for nothing but the ding on my credit. More
The 3 people that I have dealt with yesterday when I purchased my used Kia Soul were the best people I have ever dealt with when buying a vehicle. David is simply the best sales person ever. The only reason I scored this dealership a 1 is because there is not an option for zero. I visited this dealership and decided on a new Mazda after a test drive and lots of research myself. I left all my information with the salesman and he said he would call me with a price and find the car in the color I wanted. The next day I heard nothing. The following day I left three messages stating I wanted the car, had the money, and would like to make the purchase. Still no return call. I finally called another salesman and he told me my original salesman was too busy. Too busy doing what? I thought the goal for them was to sell cars. Even after that it was like pulling teeth to get anyone to call me back or spend a few minutes with me on the phone without making me feel like a nuisance. I had filled out an online quote request and initially figured all the calls would be a waste of time. I was very wrong. It seems every other dealership was more than willing to discuss the car. I ended up buying the car in Californa from an incredibly professional and friendly dealership that actually made me feel like they wanted my business. The salesman even called me three times on his day off to let me know the status of the car. On top of all this, they beat Reno's price by $700 and extended the manufacturer warranty to 10 years and 100,000 miles. I cannot explain the frustration with Reno's dealership. I guess they are the only one in town so they figure customer service can suck. How pathetic for someone to walk onto their lot wanting to buy a car and being driven to buy it elsewhere. I just wish I would have read these reviews before I went there and would have known what to expect. I would name the salesmen I worked with, but when customer service is this bad it obviously comes from the top down. From all the continueing negative reviews I guess Tom Dolan doesn't waste his time reading these either. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. More
