Got ripped off I brought in our 2008 Mazda 3, around 9am to have it diagnosed for a rough idle. I had done what youtube said to do, clean the MAF sensor, but it didn I brought in our 2008 Mazda 3, around 9am to have it diagnosed for a rough idle. I had done what youtube said to do, clean the MAF sensor, but it didn't solve the problem. I found out they're such a small dealership you have to make an appointment to have service done. So I left the car there for the rest of the day and half of the next only to find out they diagnosed the car as having a bad MAF sensor. I paid the $108 diagnostic fee figuring they tested it and were certain that was the problem. I didn't want to pay the $435 dollars to have them replace it so I replaced it for $82. But that didn't fix it at all. I've worked a lot with electronics and I know you should always check with a known good item to ensure your diagnosis is correct. So it is safe to say they didn't and the new MAF sensor I purchase didn't fix it. So I wasted $190 at this dealership. Fixed the idle problem by cleaning the throttlebody, guided by Youtube. If I were you I would never bring an older Mazda to this Dealership. They are just looking to make money. More
