Upon reviewing your case, we’ve carefully examined the details of the situation and would like to clarify a few points. From our investigation and previous discussions, it appears that the oil leak stems from work performed by another dealership prior to your visit to us. Unfortunately, since the issue originates from that prior work, we are not responsible for the repair costs. While we understand that this may be disappointing, we are not obligated to cover the repair expenses for an issue that arose from external work. Regarding the communication concerns, I’d like to assure you that we have made an effort to keep in contact with you. We have spoken with you directly on at least three separate occasions to address your concerns, and we have always aimed to provide clarity and assistance throughout the process. If you feel there has been a gap in communication, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and will make sure to be more responsive moving forward. We genuinely value you as a customer and would be happy to assist you with any questions or guidance regarding the next steps for resolving the oil leak. Please let us know how we can help, and we will do our best to ensure your concerns are addressed promptly.

It must be convenient for you to blame another dealership. Sounds like you’re trying to Todd Weasel your way out of any liability for damage. I understand it may be disappointing to admit your dealership is at fault. Unfortunately, since the issue arose after what was supposed to be a routine service, you are responsible for the repairs OR you can contact the previous dealership if you suspect they are at fault for the leak that wasn’t there. Bottom Line is I had NO leaks or issues with my vehicle prior to the oil change performed at your dealership and your service advisor confirmed that upon completion of the oil change.
