I was told that DeMaagd was a hometown, long-time, family-owned business, so I went down there for a visit. Everyone was so helpful and friendly...they truly work as a team! Absolutely NO PRESSURE, and they allowed me all the time I needed to look around and get comfortable with what I was interested in. I purchased a new Sentra and they even took me around the dealership and introduced me to the service and parts department. They even set up my first appointment for me! It truly was the complete opposite experience I've had with those large corporate owned dealerships. DeMaagd felt just like home. Thank you DeMaagd!

I won’t hesitate to come back when it’s time to update the wife’s car ! Great salesman in Chad , never was introduced to anyone that didn’t seem like an old friend .

My check engine light came on and they worked me in to review it. Nothing was found to be wrong, but on checking out, the gal reminded me of my brakes needing worked on. I was glad she reminded me as they had said a year ago that my brakes needed worked on. So glad that I have always taken my 2006 Lucerne to a Buick dealership!

My son been dealing with Baker on his truck for a check engine light. Every time I go’s in they can’t actually find what’s going on with it. Even though the code reads emissions code. They think they fix it and then it comes back on , they say it must be this problem and then fix it for this amount , then again the check engine light comes on after they say they fixed it. After they fixed it recently again I drove it another 45 miles and now the check engine light it’s back on. I drive a lot of miles for work so it go’s out of Warranty quick but been dealing with this since I bought the truck! I’m over it with them. This is ridiculous that they can’t find and fix a problem or admit this truck has a problem. It’s been in at least 3 times since November plus multiple times before that and costing me thousands of dollars and time and they still can’t fix it. They just keep throwing parts at it and not working. Baker is the worst dealership in Michigan or the USA to deal with and I’m not the only one that thinks this. I will be blowing this up on social media with my friends and family help. If Baker GMC doesn’t take care of this next step will be that I will call my Lawyer and GM.

Marcus was amazing to work with. Got me into a practically brand new, low mile, great, reliable car with low money down. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He really cares about his customers. I was interested in a different vehicle but he wasn't comfortable putting me in it after finding out the battery was dead. Hardest part was trying to get through to my insurance. Great staff, I was a referral and I will absolutely be referring others in the future!

My husband and I ordered a 2023 Yukon from Team One. We literally sent in the build we wanted and waited 5 months for it to be delivered. When we picked it up, it didn't have the rear entertainment screens we had ordered. The salesman tried to say he thought we didn't order it then seemed to realize he messed up and told us we could get factory GM screens installed and he would order them for us. We had the option to reject the car at this point but he admitted (in writing) we could get GM factory screens so we agreed to have them ordered and he said it would be a few months. After a few months, he didn't respond to any emails we sent. Turns out, Team One told us they can't install the screens after they build the car. So the salesman LIED to us in order to get us to keep an $80K vehicle. The GM told us that there wasn't much he could do because we "owned the car for 8 months at that point". We kept the car because their salesman lied to us. We will never buy another car from Team One and will tell everyone we know not to. Such a terrible experience when we paid $80K cash for a car we specifically ordered and the management didn't care one bit.

The service department is awful. We bought two different plans, one for the car and 1 for the truck. First, you make an appointment and still have to wait depending on how many drive in oil changes there are. We’ve had 2 problems that we “know” of. The program was for oil, tire rotation and 27 point inspection. That is a laugh. One time they said they wouldn’t/didn’t rotate tires because we needed at least 2 new tires. First, they should come find you, ask if you still wanted them rotated. They have no idea what our thoughts are on that. Next..on the truck they checked every box on their inspection form. Not even a week later, husband was checking out something in the area of the filter and surprised there was a squirrel nest, complete with nuts etc. Had to have been for quite some time. Took pictures and actually took it in and service MANAGER says he’s sorry.Has a lot of new guys and they must have missed it. That is our problem? We paid good money for the plan expecting good and COMPLETE service. Brought the car in for service. We were having a problem with it making a squealing noise and a clunking noisewhen turning l. Asked them to check it out. Pick it up, said all was good, again inspection report had all things checked. Take it home, next day squealing/clunking noise still there. You tube university here we come! First thing to check, steering fluid. Well guess what, barely a drop in there - 2 days after service was done. Then you start wondering what else did they miss. Get the opinion email to fill out saying they hoped we could give them all 5’s. In both these instances we could not. Reached out by e-mail, NO RESPONSE. Actually got a second one, replied again by email- no response. In March I sent another e-mail. Response THANK YOU!!! (not sure for what)) Will NEVER take our vehicles to this dealership. (GRAND HAVEN)

I never received a response until Shayla Kwekel called me. Her job is just to deliver cars to customers. But she took it upon herself to contact GM and get my rewards. She is the best. Thanks Shayla. Do NOT buy anything from Baker Lowell Buick gmc. They are flat out liars and scammers. They sold me a “new” truck which they crashed and fixed in their body shop and did not report to car fax. When I got home plastics were hanging off wheele well due to improper repairs made by them! Which they did not disclose to me! Never told me it was in an accident. When I asked about it they said they don’t have to disclose repairs under 10% of msrp. When I told them I don’t want the truck anymore and I’m bringing it back they said I can’t do that because I already signed the paper work. Only when I mentioned I’m calling my lawyer the next day they decide they want to take there shotty repaired truck back. What a rip off don’t trust these guys. The manger didn't even have the decency to come out of his office to say anything when I asked for him multiple times. These people should not be in buisness. BUYERS BEWARE!!!! They replaced the whole bedside of my “brand new” truck did a sloppy job repainting it everything under the truck was Covored in white paint. Tail light did not sit in place properly and bare metal was left exposed on the truck to rust away! These people showed no remorse & should be ashamed of themselves. I feel bad for whoever is buying the truck I returned.
