These people know what they are doing, are professional with fair pricing, and they care. I would never buy anywhere else. I can be extremely critical after dealing with less than honest people in other areas (home repairs, etc.), so when I hand out praise, I can tell you that it is well earned. Tidelands, see you next year to buy my new Explorer! More

Got us to pay extra for the ceramic paint warranty, with a big scratch on the hood. Paid extra for “upgrades” SYNC3 and a cargo mat, that were most likely already installed with 1st owner, said it’s on there already, we can’t take it off. No rear seat floor mats. An open recall that they neglected to mention until we asked, and then never followed up on. Sales Manager didn’t return calls. Service guy said that we would have to pay a $195 diagnosis fee if not covered under warranty. Also said that diagnosis consisted of lifting the hood and listening. His boss said otherwise, and then they provided me the documentation from the cars computer printout. Tried to convince me the vehicle had a bad alternator, also not covered and at a cost of $1354 plus tax. Refused to acknowledge the actual issue was the recall, even though the vehicle threw the recall code repeatedly. I ended up having to pay (a discounted rate) the diagnostic fee just so I could get far far away from these people. They offered to help me find a mustang for my daughter! Guess you can figure out how that went 👎 This all happened within a 4 month timeframe, since our April purchase. More

The poorest used car dealership bar none. They took advantage of my 80 year old mom and knowingly sold her an unsafe and defectivtive 2014cInfinity QX 60. THE vehicle was called out in a class action law suite for a defective transmission just 2 months after it was purchased. The vehicle immediately started showing signs of trouble related to the transmission class action suite. Mom was never contacted about it and it has been driven problematicly over 3 years. She didn't know any better. I took the vehicle into a Nissan/Infinity dealer and was told she would need a new CVT transmission that should have been reported to her by Tidelands Ford, Pawleys Island, SC. She is now out $7300 to fix it, on top of what she already paid for it. When I contacted Tidelands Ford, I was blocked on social media without cause. Please do not shop at Tidelands Ford! They are rude and have no desire to help an elderly lady that they ripped of in the get go. More
