Salesman (Mr. Manning) was very pleasant to deal with, and made buying more enjoyable than usual. Mike Wood was very efficient in taking payment, and filling out all necessary documents. Jim was very helpful and gave us great service, took time to make sure we were satisfied with the deal. Very easy going and low pressure buying experience. Richard did not use any of the typical used car salesman pressure that most other dealers do. They also took care of the little things that go a long way such as paying for the state inspection, filling up my tank, detailing the car, and checking tire pressures. The price for the car was fair. I also appreciated how the finance manager was not overly pushy when it came to the extras they try to sell such as the 3M coating, theftguard, etc. He gave me his opinion but did not argue when I said no. Lastly, when I pulled into the dealership I was not attacked by a group of vultures like most other dealerships. I started looking at the car and was not approached until I looked at several vehicles. Richard was very patient with me and showed me several cars to help me with my decision. He was not pushy at all and seemed to understand exactly what I was looking for. Rather than pushing a more expensive vehicle he went with what I wanted (although my wife chose the more expensive vehicle on her own). More

This is the 3rd car I have purchased from Thompson Cadillac in the last 3 1/2 years. I return to the dealership because they have taken the time to get to know me and my family. My salesperson, Jim Gillette, has given me objective advice. Once there was a car I wanted to buy and he advised me against it. He did not think I would have been happy with it long term. Jim was right and I appreciated his honesty. He was not out to just get a sale from me. The Thompson family has run a very efficient and customer service oriented dealership for decades. I believe this is the top dealership in Springfield and will continue to work with them in the future. I am now a fan of Cadillac partly because of the cars but mostly because of the way I have been treated by the dealership. They treat you like a valued client the day you purchase the car and all throughout the ownership experience. More
My wife and I went to Thompson's to test drive the Cadillac CTS. We had never driven one before, so we wanted to drive one thinking of purchasing next year (2011). We drove a used one, thinking that was all we could afford. Long story short, we saw a new Tuscan Bronze AWD CTS. We thought it was out of our price range, but after getting down to business with Adam, it turned out, we bought it. I had made inquiry online about the CTS, Bobby Stevens contacted both me and my wife, as we had both inquired online. I believe I received an email in less than an hour and a phone call shortly thereafter. We worked out the deal with Adam Ragan because Bobby was busy when we first arrived. It was almost 7 P.M. when we left the dealership with our new CTS.Even though the dealership was closed for the day, our gys stayed with us to complete the deal. Very satisfied! Got more of a car than we hoped for! More
