I was greated bt Conly Debrod as soon as I entered the dealership. The dealership has a friendly atmospher- no high- pressure sales pitches. Thought the vehicle we purchased was loaded, turned out we had to pay an additional $600.00 to get navigation, but it was handled very promptly. I called Kathy McKinney at Thompson Dodge and met with her at the appointed time. Kathy, knowing my preference for pickup trucks from our phone conversation already had her thoughts in order as to what vehicles I might be interested in. The first pre-owned Ram she showed us fit the bill almost to a "T". It was as near to a perfect fit as could be imagined. Kathy pulled the Car Fax report and presented all other pertinent information in an easy to understand manner. She presented us with an equitable selling price and we agreed on the deal. When she finished with us we went to visit Russ the finance person who was just as thorough and prepared. After all the documentation was completed Kathy took me out to my Ram truck and spent considerable time going over all the operating and comfort features of the truck and stayed with me until I was comfortable with them. It's a rare commodity when a sales person listens to your needs and then presents product solutions that fill those needs in a professional yet friendly, non threatening, no pressure manner. Worst customer service ever. Was told they would hold a vehicle until the next day. Arrived the next day and was informed they sold it with out even calling me. Was then told they would do the same deal on vehicle until the next day. Arrived the next day and was informed they sold it with out even calling me. Was then told they would do the same deal on a lesser priced vehicle. I'm not stupid , I guess they would do that. Very shady. I asked to speak to a manager and was told he just stepped out. How convenient. I've emailed The General Mgr and still have not received a phone call or email. You would think if they valued my business they would of at least called to apologize. But no. So I went to Heritage bought the same vehicle for less money, a lower monthly payment and with excellent customer service. Don't waste your time on Thompson! More

I walked in at 4:30pm with an 04 Hyundai and walked out at 6pm with a new 2014 Jeep Compa want to waste his time nor mine, and he made sure I didnt. As a first time car buyer, I was taken advantage of, big time, at Thompson Chrysler Dodge Jeep of Baltimore. I drove an hour and a half to the location after speaking with the online sales manager about the time, at Thompson Chrysler Dodge Jeep of Baltimore. I drove an hour and a half to the location after speaking with the online sales manager about the specific car I wanted (Jeep Liberty) because the price was right. I was between two colors and was promised that both were on the lot in the exact model I wanted and available for me to look at before I made a decision/purchase (Black and Forest Black, which is dark green). When I got there, I was passed off to some Sales assistant, Matt Lepke, and learned that only Forest Black was actually on the lot. If I wanted Black I was going to have to upgrade and get a more expensive model with all kinds of extra options. I ended up deciding on black and tried to negotiate on price with them (since they basically "bait and switch"-ed me), which they were unwilling to do. This is just the beginning though. Trade in value and interest rate were also discussed over the phone and in person once I arrived, but the numbers in the paperwork did NOT match what we had discussed. We were at the dealership late because of the fiasco with the available colors and I was being rushed to finish everything up. You can't drive the car off the lot without getting insurance first, so I was doing that online while the salesperson, MATT LEPKE, summarized the details (including what my interest rate and trade in price would be) verbally to me and had me sign everything while dealing with my insurance on the computer. He seemed nice, so I trusted that that's what the paperwork reflected too. WRONG. They gave me only 2/3rds of the trade in value they told me they would give me and upped my interest rate by about 2%. I was furious and embarrassed when I found out, and called the manager and tried to get it straightened out and he flat out refused to take my calls after the first one where he rushed off the phone after realizing why I was calling. I know I could have easily avoided this with a little more street smarts, but I think this speaks volumes about the integrity of the employees and management of this dealership. I would strongly recommend staying away from Matt Lepke and this dealership. Buy Jeep, but buy elsewhere. More
