Well let me tell you, that couldn't be further from the truth when we are talking about the Thompson Chrysler Dodge and Jeep Dealership and Rodney Solle. The customer service that we received from Mr. Solle surpassed our expectations. My Solle was so professional but yet so friendly. He actually took the time to listen to our wants and needs when it came to our new car. He didn't pressure, he made sure we understood all of our options and made sure we were comfortable with our purchase. He was the more then happy and willing to spend extra time with us going over everything in the car and how it worked, mind you the dealership was closing, but it didn't matter to Mr. Solle. He wanted to make sure we knew everything there was to know about the car that we purchased. I was so excited to purchase my first "BRAND NEW' car and you could tell he was happy to be sharing in the excitement as well. I would recommend Mr. Solle to anyone in need of purchasing a car. He isn't like your "Typical" sales man, he cares, he wants to help and instantly makes you feel comfortable, like you have known him for years! We are thankful he was there to help us pick the perfect car. More
Mislead, colossal waste of time! I will tell my side of the conversations and you can decipher the rest. I searched the internet for incentives provided by Dodge/Ram for trucks. The I will tell my side of the conversations and you can decipher the rest. I searched the internet for incentives provided by Dodge/Ram for trucks. The internet indicated up to $7000.00 in incentives for certain trucks. I needed as many incentives as possible as I have a lot of negative equity in my vehicle and no money down. I contacted the sales person (SP) who assisted me over three years ago at Thompson Chrysler Jeep and asked about a specific truck. I asked about the incentives, and informed the SP of my current vehicle situation AND that I had NO money down. I told the SP that my intention was to use the incentives to absorb some of the negative equity in my vehicle. About 10:00 am, I was asked (of course) to fill out a credit app over the telephone and the SP would see what they could do. I received a phone call a few hours later asking for my VIN, I provided the VIN and again, said that I understand the negative equity in my current car and how did the credit look? Then the conversation went like this: Me: You know I do not want my credit “shopped” and that I plan on using the incentives that Dodge is offering to absorb some of the negative equity? SP: ------------ Me: Well, it would take me a long time to get there as it is rush hour, can you confirm that we can work this out? SP:------- Me: Well, I understand that they need to see the car to appraise it, but, can we get the bank to work with us on the financing since you have pulled my credit already? I don’t want to drive all that way only to play the game. SP: -------------, ------------- Me: Alright, I will come tonight, but again, it is rush hour and it will take me about two hours to get there, how late are you there? SP:------. -------- Me: Great, I will see you tonight. Low and behold, I get to the dealership two hours later after working all day, and the truck that I was looking to purchase is NOT even on the lot. They have me register for prizes and play little games because Thompson Chrysler Jeep is have a huge SALE, so they say. Once the games run out, the SP and I sit to discuss buying a truck. I ask; Where is the truck? SP: ---------------- Me: If the price of the truck is $54,000.00, why is the internet price lower and how come I don’t qualify for that price? SP:------------------------- Me: Well, based on the internet, I do qualify for ALL of the incentives listed, but ok. So you want to show me some other trucks you feel I qualify for? SP:-----------.-------------. After looking at several lower priced and less desirable 2015’s (evidence of the bad color and lack of options) I choose one. SP:-----------.------.------. Me: You want my car, the incentives AND over $7000.00 down? And, you say my payment is WHAT!!? How is this working WITH me? I told you on the phone over 8 hours ago that I had no money down, I had negative equity, and I wanted truck “A” and you told me to come into the dealership, two hours out of my way during rush hour. You IMPLIED that you would work something out. Why did you have me come all the way down here just to go through this? YOU KNEW before I came down here what my situation was, and yet, you asked me to come down here only to lie to me. Colossal WASTE of my time. I will NEVER do any business with any Thompson Chrysler Jeep dealership or affiliate. I would suggest that you reconsider your choice as well. More

Rodney meet me at the door, I told him exactly what I wanted and what I had to work with, he said give him five minutes, and when he came back he had it all arranged. We sat down, explained everything to me on paper, showed me exactly how he was able to work a great deal, and now I'm a proud owner of a Jeep Wrangler. It really was that easy. Thanks again, A happy firefighter. More

Rodney Solle was very professional and easily put me at ease about buying a used vehicle. He walked around with me in the pouring rain to show me different vehicles that were available to me. He took the time to discuss all of my options for each vehicle and before I knew it I was leaving in my very own 2013 Dodge Journey. I have since recommended Thompson and Rodney to fellow associates that are looking for new vehicles. More

On Monday, I called and was told due to being busy, they will probably get to it tomorrow. I called then on Tuesday, and was told that the warranty covers the alternator (GREAT! main problem with car...but other general maintenance due to general and "neglect") is needed coming to $527. Right there...this is the moment I take all on me because I should have been a smarter consumer and said please just fix alternator. I said OK. I was told on Tuesday it was done by 7 AM when they open Wed. Wed I call on my way and was told it will be done 830 AM and I said I will be there near end of day. I went over around noon and accidentally caught them off guard that I came early (My bad that I seemed a hassle as your customer). Customer Service took me through thoroughly and paid and I was on my way. Nothing stuck out and don't need to go there again. More
