Sales person had close to no information and I had to answer all of my questions through looking on the website. Luckily I already had an idea what I wanted. Not even a month later I have started having problems, part Jeep being a terrible manufacturer. Basically good luck getting a hold of someone if there is an issue or if maintenance needs to be made. If you go to get an oil chance done you'll lose use of your car for the whole day. I am writing this in the hopes of helping others avoid my mistake. More

I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else to buy a car, they do all they can to work with you to put you in the car of your dreams on your budget. Calvin and Kathy are very nice very friendly. Five Stars! My sales person was Kathy McKinney. I had been pre-approved for financing through Capital One. I saw this Lincoln MKX (used) with only 47k miles on it My sales person was Kathy McKinney. I had been pre-approved for financing through Capital One. I saw this Lincoln MKX (used) with only 47k miles on it at Thompson. Originally, my plan was to just have a look at the SUV. My wife and I instantly fell in love with my truck. I'm not sure why my final interest rate was about 0.75 points higher than my rate offered by Capital One; I think it may have been a result of a few other dealers that I'd contacted and had run my credit for financing of another vehicle(s). Ultimately, I bought the truck and was financed through Capital One. Of course, I had to play a bit of Chess with Kathy (to be expected). They were encouraging me to purchase GAP insurance and an extended warranty, which of course, increased the monthly car note I'd been offered by Capital One. My truck had a Thompson multi-point inspection and came with a 6-month/6000k powertrain warranty. I didn't feel a need to purchase another. Although I initially declined the GAP, I ultimately bought the GAP insurance at a significantly reduced cost (nobody wants to have to pay the balance owed in a totaled vehicle after your regular insurance pays the "value"). The next day after I bought my truck, I heard some kind of noise coming from my truck. Turns out it was a rock stuck in my (brand new Michelin) tire. However, Kathy had scheduled an appointment to have the "noise" checked out, prior to my realization that it was a simple matter of a rock stuck. Her words were "we'll get this resolved". I really, really appreciate that level of commitment. In conclusion, I purchased an awesome luxury vehicle at Thompson. Service by Kathy (and the finance manager - forget his name) was great. They did understandably try to "upsell" me on the extras (it is a business after all). Very happy with my SUV, and I highly recommend them. A few days after purchasing the vehicle, I noticed a squeaking when I applied my brakes. I contacted Mr. Joe Lyons (Director of Operations), who forwarded my concern to Mr. Jim Umpleby (Service Manager). These gentlemen arranged for the Thompson shuttle van to take me to work and pick me up, while the service department replaced my brake pads for free. Awesome! Five stars!!! More

Left Service the Same as When Brought In My 2015 Jeep Patriot cut off on me so I brought it to Thompson....unfortunately. They told me the Wiring Harness needed to be replaced. I picked up my My 2015 Jeep Patriot cut off on me so I brought it to Thompson....unfortunately. They told me the Wiring Harness needed to be replaced. I picked up my car after the repairs were supposed to have been completed. Not even a 1/4 mile down the road, it cut off on me again! I turned around and took it back. I must say, they were gracious enough to put me in a rental while the repairs were being done. After 3 weeks of keeping my car, they told me the shuttle driver drove the car and it cut off. But the next day they called me and said the shuttle driver was mistaken. Huh, he doesn't know the difference between a car feeling like it's going to cut off vs. it actually cutting off? They said the whole reason they were holding my vehicle for so long was because they were,trying to duplicate the breakdown. So finally, they were tired of funding the rental car and told me that the Manager Jim had driven it home and back to work with no problems. So, when I went to pick it up, Jim rode in the car with me driving to see if it would happen again...of course it did not! Two hours later while driving to pick up my child from camp, it cut off again! This time I could not start it back up. They sent the tow truck and took it back to the shop. The next morning they called saying that the would not put me back in a rental and that someone had driven it and it was fine...again. So I reluctantly picked the car up. Three hours later, my car cut off again! I didn't even bother calling them again! But the worst part is that they insinuated that the cut offs could be happening due to my "driving style"....how insulting! Before I forget, I did want to mention that on two ocassions while I was there, there were three customers who had returned or was returning their vehicles to service when they just had work completed. I should have taken a hint from them!!!! Never again! They definitely need an overhaul in their service department from the manager on down to the mechanics! More
