I traveled 10 hour to their dealership to purchase my new car. I explained where I lived and asked if they could deal with the registration process in MA. I was assured they could, that it was all done elect car. I explained where I lived and asked if they could deal with the registration process in MA. I was assured they could, that it was all done electronically. In subsequent calls, I checked on that again prior to starting my journey south. Upon arriving after going over the financial numbers multiple times with the internet sales department, I was surprised with additional fees and told I would have to pay for temporary plates. I knew it was not legal for me to drive in MA on temporary plates. I tried to get someone from the dealership to understand this and read from the RMV of MA website but continued to get blown off by all parties involved. The sales manager was mad at me when I insisted that I not waste money on the temporary registration that was of no use to me. He huffed out of the office telling me he wouldn’t charge me for it. Then upon meeting with the finance manager he had a temporary registration sitting on the desk waiting for me. I explained to him what the laws were in my state of MA and that I needed my plates transferred. He said well “we don’t do that”. You have to leave here on a temporary plate. I insisted no again. Once he finally understood that MA plates need to be transferred and then registered within 7 business days, he said to me “well you’ll be lucky if that can even happen at all”. I made attempts to get someone at the dealership to at least look into what I was saying. After 7 days my car would not be registered or legal to drive in MA. They just didn’t care! They kept telling me I had to get new plates and it would take about 30 days to happen. The FI mgr left the room and the sales manager came in. He told me in no uncertain terms that what I had suggested about bringing the paperwork home with me and register it myself would not happen and that my only option was for them sub out the registration and wait for it. And that they wouldn’t guarantee the timing and if I didn’t like it he could tear ip the papers! I was so upset by this point. I was tired from the long drive there and from being spoken down to, ignored and blow off. I got mad and did use a swearword used as an adjective not directed at anyone or about anyone. The sales managers then jumped up screaming at me ( all paperwork was already complete and they taken my payments) told at me to leave and they would pay for a hotel and to just go home! I jumped up as well and screamed back at him that they owed me an apology! I traveled all that way to purchase the vehicle that I wanted and they already finished the sale. They just wouldn’t finish with the registration process and were planning on leaving me without a vehicle to drive!! At that stage I went out to my husband who said to just take what we could and get out of there and go home. We finally left with my car and my plates attached. The dealer made us put our own plates and never even went over the car with us. With the 10 hour ride back home, we decided to send a message telling the dealership to not submit the paperwork and have the general manager contact me. Monday morning the general manager did contact me back after I called multiple times. He did apologize to me but at this point it was really too late. All I wanted was for someone to figure out how to get my car registered. The dealership was at a loss as to what to do. I suggested they send it to another new car dealer in MA - a GMC dealer ((my friend and neighbor is the owner) and have them send a runner to the RMV with the paperwork. Terry Subaru did so and my car is finally registered. After the paperwork was sent and that process in the works, the salesman called me to inform me that Subaru is now no longer allowing Starlink in MA! Just one more issue. Granted this wasn’t the dealerships fault but it made everything even worse. I called the dealership to send back their dealer plate that they sent along with the paperwork just in case it went longer than the 7 days and asked them for their account number so it wouldn’t cost me anything to send it back. They left me a message stating they didn’t trust anyone and wouldn’t give me their info for ups. They would send me another pkg with and envelope enclosed. So be it that’s their right but come on! Am I going to use their account to start shipping items out on it? Give me a break. Just a continuation of their treatment… Now they discovered they spelled my street name wrong. MA RMV didn’t care about that minor of a goof but they are holding up my loan etc with this! Truly unreal. They’ve sent me all the paperwork to resign. I will and will send it back. One additional note, they must nit have checked the tire pressure before delivery. They have nitrogen in them so I can’t just get air anywhere. Now I am waiting to get in to my local dealer and have them properly adjust them. I took a picture along the way to show just how far off they all are. This has been the worst car buying experience in my life!! More

The entire Purchase process of my 2021 Crosstrek was seamless and very Customer focused. I started with Jennifer Campbell in Internet Sales and she was extraordinary. The deal was virtually 75% complete seamless and very Customer focused. I started with Jennifer Campbell in Internet Sales and she was extraordinary. The deal was virtually 75% complete by the time I was transitioned to Landon Dalton. I have purchased a few vehicles in my time, but Never have I experienced a more courteous and helpful Sales Resource. He explained everything in complete detail and just really made the whole process to be at ease. He has excellent Sales Purchase follow up approach. Lastly when the VP of a Dealership (Mark Dalton) thanks you for your purchase in person on the day of pickup speaks volumes. I felt like I had gained a family through this process. More

I was looking for a new Subaru and I test drove a gray one but was not impressed with the color. I ask the salesman to find me a red one and the next day he called and had one in stock.
