Service department is just bad Bring car in for service and am told a part is covered by warranty or sales, either way it's covered. Week and a half later, I call service to set up Bring car in for service and am told a part is covered by warranty or sales, either way it's covered. Week and a half later, I call service to set up my appointment and am shuffled to parts to check on my own warranty parts that the service department ordered for some reason. I am told parts are sitting there. I make an appointment and bring the car back in. They fix one issue and don't fix the bigger issue. I'm told that's not covered. I tell them I was told it is by "X" service advisor. They say he's not with them anymore and that it was never covered. I asked why parts were ordered then. I'm still told that the advisor was wrong. I've decided to cut my losses with Bill Kay. Second and last car I'll ever buy there and definitely never be back for anything again. I will tell my story to all who will listen. The courtesy shown to me by Service Advisor Marshall Green was wonderful! He listened to what I wanted and answered all my questions quickly, efficiently and professionally. My Service Tech, Mike Wojciak, was thorough, concise and spoke to me with respect. He gave me an accurate summary of what he found during the inspection. He followed up with an honest recommendation of needed repairs. I felt this was the way he would treat a member of his family (provided he liked his family). The car needed a lengthy stay. I was impressed to be offered a ride home and then a return pick-up. The gentlemen who provided that service were also very polite. When I picked up the car, I was delighted to know that it was being washed! I saw Mike and he went over what was done and gave me information on what may need to be done in the future. He was very pleasant to talk to. The young lady at the Payment Window was pleasant and courteous, guiding me through the payment process. I was very happy leaving in my nice, clean 1995 Windstar and ECSTATIC when I drove it. IT WAS AWESOME!!!! Thank you to EVERYONE at Bill Kay Ford. I look forward to doing business with you! More

I had an appointment made 4 days prior, waited 45 min for my car to be even looked at. Car was finally looked at and then, other cars came in, and mine sat. I kept checking and checking no one knew anything.( The guy that checked me in WASNT friendly, he must have been having a bad day) I waited 3.5 hours for them, and finally I pulled the guy working on my car aside and said "is it going to be much longer?". And he said we don't have the part. Well why was I waiting for almost 4 hours if you don't have the part? They had no conicideration for my time! It was my only day off, and I work nights in the city! I was furious! Finally i started to get my car salesmen involved, and he got me a loaner and I was out of there! Only to find out I NEVER GOT MY GARAGE DOOR OPENER! And they only give you 1/4 a tank, and I drove from almost Kankakee to Midlothian! So I ended up needing more gas before I even go home! No apology made by the service department! I couldn't even pick up my car tom there, I had my boyfriend do it! I will not go back. They just didn't have any concideration for my time! More

Dedication and commitment!! I have owned several Ford vehicles through my time, and I believe the easy part is buying the vehicle....the challenge is servicing the vehicle over t I have owned several Ford vehicles through my time, and I believe the easy part is buying the vehicle....the challenge is servicing the vehicle over the course of years of ownership. I live in Crown Point Indiana, and I travel now to Bill Kay Ford for all my service needs. Like any piece of equipment, it breaks down and needs servicing. The service i received at Bill Kay was over the top. I believe the service was the best i received in the area, with many options closer to home. But it was the dedication, the commitment, and the drive to not only fix it right the first time, but also the time and dedication to my problem with my vehicle that has forever made me a customer. The service manager, Lou Fioretti, not only advised me every step of the way, but called on what I Believe was his own personal time, to make sure that I was towed off the road safely, and that a rental was set up in my home town as to minimize my inconvenience. I was also called by the towing service in which they let me know that Lou had helped out the tow driver and received my car with "white glove" service. Lou's knowledge of my vehicle, and of Fords warranty process saved me a whole lot of money and it also gave me the confidence that I had chosen the right dealership to fix and solve my problems. Lou Fioretti is a true asset and a knowledgeable source that exudes customer service, drive and dedication to a career that can make peoples lives easier, and also gain a customer for life. That's a hard feat to achieve in todays modern time of dealerships where customer service seems to lack. I can tell you that my experience with Lou Fioretti and a service writer John Van Vleet, is the reason why i drive 50 plus miles one way for any service that I now need on my truck. I will spread the word to my other employees about the service and results that I received from Bill Kay Service manager and staff. Dedication and commitment, a true rarity, but glad I found it! More
