Totally Dissapointed My wife and I purchased a new 2016 Ford Exployer Sport with 20 miles on the odometer on 4/30/16 from Bill Kay Ford in Midlothian and we were to take d My wife and I purchased a new 2016 Ford Exployer Sport with 20 miles on the odometer on 4/30/16 from Bill Kay Ford in Midlothian and we were to take delivery on Monday 5/2/16. My insurance agent called the dealer to get details of the purchase so proper insurance can be placed on purchased vehicle and he was shocked to hear dealers details. Our insurance agent conferenced us in on the call with the dealer informing us that the vehicle we purchased on Saturday and purchased the plates for was NOT the vehicle we were going to take delivery of that afternoon. The dealer then told us that they have an exact vehicle and it would be ready when we got to the dealer that afternoon. Our agent also informed us that the dealer wasn't going to say anything to us until we arrived that afternoon that's why he conferenced us in on the call (Dealer doesn't even have the courtesy to call us and inform us there may be an issue after spending $50,000 in there store on Saturday). When we arrived at the dealer the salesman Will was sourcing parts from there parts department that he said needed to be added to a car so it meet the car we purchased on Saturday. As we spoke to the salesman Will, we asked him for a sheet that showed all the features that were on the car we purchased on Saturday. He gave us a sheet and said this is your car, after checking the VIN# and seeing that it didn't match the VIN # to the car we purchased on Saturday he then gave us 3 more sheets saying this one is your car etc. all three sheets had different VIN #'s of which none matched the correct VIN # of the car we purchased. We then asked to go outside and see the car they said was the exact match to the car we purchased that's when it got even worse. We were then told that they didn't have the car on the lot (after telling us on the conference call they would have our car by the time we got to dealer) now they tell us they have to drive a car up from Indianapolis and it would have 375 miles on the odometer when it arrives (Indianapolis is only 150 miles away so we believe they were trying to give us a demo car) then they would have to add the parts from their parts department to that car when it arrived so it matched the car we purchased. At that point we didn't know what we were purchasing, what features were in or not in the car they were trying to pawn off on us, so we backed out of the deal. A manager then tried to give us free oil changes and said they would flat bed the car up from Indianapolis etc. at that point they were trying to say and do anything to keep a sale. We called our bank from the dealer and stoped the $15,000 down payment we made on Saturday and walked out totally Dissapointed. More

Eric and Luis both offered exceptional customer service, and really made me feel comfortable going through the new car buying process. It had been a long time since I made a new car purchase, and it couldn't have been easier. Bill Kay Ford is highly recommended, and both Luis and Eric, along with Joe Hart and Mr. Finance Mark Hofrichter, made the whole process painless. Thank you guys! I love my new car! More

Long distance purchase I found a car for my daughter on-line. Eric was absolutely amazing in helping us make the deal long distance. When we got to the dealership, we work I found a car for my daughter on-line. Eric was absolutely amazing in helping us make the deal long distance. When we got to the dealership, we worked with Mark who did a great job of showing my daughter how to work everything on the car and make sure she was satisfied. The only frustration I had was that the finance manager kept us waiting way too long (about an hour). Being 2+ hours away, since the deal was already agreed on, I was hoping to get in and out but the finance manager tied us up. His inefficiency did not take away from the awesome job of Eric and Mark - I would still highly recommend this dealership to anyone - would only suggest they give the finance manager some training on time management. Everyone we talked with was super nice. More
