I left Hondaland so happy yesterday. My car was perfect (I had been dealing with engine mount problems for over a year and a half). I had originally purchased my car from here, but had been going to Wesley (I had been dealing with engine mount problems for over a year and a half). I had originally purchased my car from here, but had been going to Wesley Chapel, since it was closer to where I lived. BIG mistake! After what I dealt with at WC, it was nice to have such a wonderful experience at Tampa Hondaland! Larry Hanchey was my service advisor and he was so friendly and really took care of me and my car. I used the shuttle service both to and from work, and Willie was so wonderful and really a joy to be around. I will definitely come back again and again. When I am ready to purchase my next Honda, it will be from Hondaland. Thank you! Keep up the amazing job! More
I visited Tampa Honda land with the intention to buy a used Honda. I was warmly greeted by Eric Fruhmorgen. The overall experience with Honda land was great. Although Mac and Nick are very nice and the car is what we wanted there were a lot of problems with the sale. Advertised Price did not include the unwanted add-ons that were inseparable that were pric we wanted there were a lot of problems with the sale. Advertised Price did not include the unwanted add-ons that were inseparable that were price inflated by over 500% and not disclosed until arrival at the dealership. This included door guards and trunk liner priced at over $1000 After an agreed upon price where we lowered the fees for the purchase and we calculated the tax- the tax actually turned out to be lower due to the trade-in- yet the difference was then added back on to fees No detailed itemization until after our credit was run- and the itemization was shown by the finance department- never the sales department Mac tried telling me that he got me a lifetime warranty during the negotiation phase after talking to his "manager"- inappropriate and misleading as this is given to all customers After telling me they would not pay for the window tint- he then went back to talk to his manager and emerged with a pink slip saying they would pay for the tint- Although Mac didn't say he was paying for it the slip spoke for itself and he put it in front of me as "good news". I then called the Manager Dan Moser to remedy- with no return call ever. Unfortunately I will not be recommending Tampa Honda Land to anyone else. More

I went into hondaland on friday September 20th 2013 with no intentions to buy a new care. my car was a 2010 honda accord which i was very happy with but when i received this letter in the mail saying come o no intentions to buy a new care. my car was a 2010 honda accord which i was very happy with but when i received this letter in the mail saying come out great deals where being offered i thought why not go and just check it out. i originally at the time of my purchase a year ago wanted to get the 2013 but due to my finances at the time i was blessed with my 2010 honda. i met the most amazing sales man Mr. Ruben Sierra who was an absolute joy to work with, right away i felt like i was sitting having a heart to heart discussion with my own father. he did not treat me like a customer it was more like family. he never once over talked me he listened to what i wanted and most importanlty what i needed especially as far as my financial status.He took his time with me and explained every little detail in depth. i was so happy and over joyed plus i was getting exactly what wanted. he offered me several offers until we found exaclty what i needed and what was best for me. i will also like to add in the financial manager Mr. John Wyatt he was awesome as well and he also went above and beyond to make sure i was set financially. i was one happy young lady when i left honda it was an absolute joy and i would highly recommend anyone to please go and visit tampa hondaland on florida. i wish i can remember all of the staff names becuase everyone was such a joy so i thank you all:) More
We bought our 2005 Jeep Liberty Limited 2WD new from Dayton Andrews in Clearwater. It's been a great car, and we put almost 100K miles on it. However, during the last service, we discovered that it was Dayton Andrews in Clearwater. It's been a great car, and we put almost 100K miles on it. However, during the last service, we discovered that it was going to need some non-trivial repairs totaling $5-6K, so we thought it might be a good time to get a new car. Jeep's offerings from 2014 did not include the Liberty which was phased out. Its replacement was the "Cherokee", a 4-cylinder FWD beast which was going to start at around $30K. We realized that they were probably doing this because of gas mileage and maybe some new federal regulations. The Liberty only got 18 mpg on average. My wife wanted to look at Hondas, and we were in the mood for a drive. Tampa was our destination, and I knew about the dealerships on Florida Ave. So, there was Honda Land and it was open on a Sunday! JT (Jesus) greeted us pleasantly at the door, and he got right down to showing us the CR-Vs they had, as this was the model closest to our Jeep. The Pilot was too big and too expensive. Jesus quickly got an EXL ready for us to test drive. He got in the back seat and told us about a lot of the features, including the Bluetooth feature, and we connected my wife's phone. We were pleased to learn about the handsfree mode and the fact that we could play music we had on it. Apple's Siri virtual assistant also worked though the car's sound system and gave us driving directions, as an alternative to Honda's nav system. We have been accustomed to using Siri for nav instead of using any car nav system. Our Jeep didn't have one. Jesus let us take the car out on 275, and we gave it a good high-speed run. We were pleased with its handling, adequate power, solid feel, and quiet ride. I also liked the clarity of the gauges and the steering wheel controls. We got rained on a little and the wipers, front and rear worked well. I liked the larger driver-side wiper which covered the driver's field of view. Back at the dealership, my wife decided she wanted the red color, but the dealership didn't have have one. They assured us that they would look for one at other dealerships. When we learned that our credit score would not allow a lease for the desired payment amount, the sales manager was very cooperative in getting us into a car at the desired monthly payment. Though we liked the EXL and its features which included leather heated seats and individual temperature controls, he suggested we look at a red EX they had. He then offered to install leather seats as well as window tinting along with an extended loan term in order to get us to an acceptable payment amount. And my wife was pleased to be able to dicker on the trade-in allowance. We were very pleased to be able to drive home in our new Honda CR-V. More
I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone. I was so upside down in a 2010 Hyundai genesis 2.0 turbo that had a paint peeling issue and Hyundai wouldn't stand behind there cheap paint job and fix it so upside down in a 2010 Hyundai genesis 2.0 turbo that had a paint peeling issue and Hyundai wouldn't stand behind there cheap paint job and fix it so when I finally decided the only way to get out of this car was to take our losses and go back to driving a new Honda Accord ( which i've owned in the past ) because I love these cars but not only did this dealership sell me a wonderful car they gave me an awesome deal and went way above and beyond to help us . Angelo and Eric were very understanding to our situation and did all they could to make sure we would get into a new car and John in finance was awesome he got us the best rate and did more to cut the cost to their car to help us get our payments exactly where we wanted to be as we had such a loss on the Hyundai !!! Very friendly , understanding and NO ARROGANCE at this dealership the best customer service I've ever dealt with. I will ALWAYS come back here and refer friends and family!!! More
