The sales associate, Demetrios Mina, was the perfect mix of knowledgeable and friendly and didn't do the whole fake sales guy pressure cooker gimmick you usually get when you go to big car dealerships. Mr. Mina was very professional and made me feel completely comfortable. I have far less than perfect credit and he was very considerate when helping me chose something within my price range and buying abilities. After I settled on a car the finance department was just as great as the sales department. Tansel Erten was very clear and helpful when explaining all the paperwork, and he made it go as smooth as it could possibly go. He was extremely well versed in each document and helped me to understand everything clearly. The staff at Tampa Honda made this day very special for me and got me into a pretty sweet deal that's perfectly aimed at repairing my credit. The price was just right and came with all the bells and whistles (warranties, gap insurance, etc.), wrapped up in a nice, neat little low interest rate and a monthly payment that I could afford. These guys are a great asset to their industry and are awesome at what they do. I highly recommend Tampa Honda and especially Demetrios Mina! More

I was at the Honda service department where I went to see Jorge Hernandez (my service GUY) to have my Odyssey serviced when I ran into Demetiros. He didn't just sell me a vehicle but created a friendship. He spoke with me and suggest some options. I was contemplating buying a car for my wife and was interested in seeing what he had to offer. He didn't pressure me or overloaded me with BS,he was interested in meeting my needs. He's down to earth,confident and very knowledgeable. I returned 2 days later in the morning and as I enter the showroom I saw it, my wife's car 2014 Honda civic EX-L well, at least in my mind it was. Demetrios didn't hesitate on making me feel at home, unfortunate my time was limited and once again I had to leave. He didn't harass me or say anything that made me feel pressured. Returning once again with my game face and my wife it was time to negotiate. It was a great experience. Excellent Timing and a Relaxed Environment with Super People I spent considerable research time on the computer looking for the specific type of vehicle we needed. I finally got it down to the Honda Insight, the I spent considerable research time on the computer looking for the specific type of vehicle we needed. I finally got it down to the Honda Insight, the Honda FIT, the Chevy Sonic, or the Ford Focus. We needed the hatchback 5Door configuration. We had specific measurement needs, budget constraints and even color preferences. It was time to physically compare all the models and test drive. I was met outside at Tampa Honda by a beaming gentlemen - Demetrius Mena - who I felt an immediate rapport - especially when he mentioned that he had bought his mom the same vehicle I was driving - a convenient 2008 Chevy Aveo. We have leased several Honda Civics / Hybrids in the past, and appreciated the mileage, the safety aspects, and the wonderful service at Tampa Honda - especially repairs and maintenance - really helpful, super polite and accommodating people! Still, I didn't expect that I could find THE car this time so quickly, and have everything processed so efficiently! Demetrius definitely made me feel completely non-pressured... in fact relaxed for me - AND he kept anticipating our needs in co-ordinating the rest of my family to test-drive the vehicle, as well. Finance Manager, Daniel Foster, completed the paperwork process in an informative, professional and friendly atmosphere. They even openly allowed my small dog to sit on my lap the whole time - as it was rather hot outside for her. Other sales people (who I didn't catch their names) contributed to make me feel welcome and comfortable all the time. Awesome! Jorge Hernandez, Service Advisor, and the desk manager - both were extremely professional and helpful. It seems that everyone there does operate as a team, with each one expediting the overall process for one another. I could ask anyone anything - and they would have this "can-do" attitude to find the right people to quickly assist. Amazing people there, really. I appreciated that I didn't have to figure out the roles there or the rules... I just could concentrate on what I needed to get done with my schedule - not their schedule. That's how they make you feel there! After comparing the above vehicles, we bought the Honda FIT with one of the most original and clever interior configurations I have ever seen. We got it in the colors also that we wanted and Demetrius said he would find whatever we needed wherever that would take him - he would get it for us. Since the entire process was so efficient... I look back and can say this was one of the few times buying a car was a delight instead of a hassle! Highly recommend this team at Tampa Honda! In the past, they have been very nice and we have appreciated them - but this new team (with some of the same people also) - has come together as something very special! AND - I just found out that as our lease comes up on our 2012 Civic/Hybrid - Jeff (lease returns) is letting us just turn the car into Tampa Honda - and they will do everything else! In the past, we had to spend considerable time, paperwork, and cumbersome arrangements co-ordinating between several different outside companies that took weeks to accomplish. It was a dreaded thing! So THANK YOU Tampa Honda and American Honda for streamlining this process! We had leased Saturns prior - and turning in a leased car was so simple - literally just handed them the keys. Very grateful Honda is now making this a delight, as well! More
