Right from the start there were lies about the price, trade in value etc. The Sales person was planning to get the trade in for free and sell the vehicle by mentioning some add-ons like Pro-Pack and researched on that and found the price they say for Pro-pack is thrice than that actually costs which I never requested. Luckily I received the OTD price from various dealers and valued my car and had some good idea about the final price I can expect. But I was fooled and made a very bad decision by buying the car with Tampa Honda when I had better offers from other dealers. I went to this Dealer with only reason they are nearby and they agreed to match up the price any other dealer’s offer. I researched and went only to look for a Honda Civic EXT with specific color, add-ons etc .and the sales person spoke with his manager, agreed on the price (Matched Price from Other dealer), started documentation including finance and everything went fine only to the Surprise that I was handed over an EX instead of EXT when I tried to add the vehicle to the insurance. By this time my Trade-in Vehicle was handed over to them and finance documentation all completed. There was no history for the vehicle as the vehicle is Brand new. I tried hard and found some details of the vehicle on the same day I received the vehicle and contacted the Dealers back to understand why I was provided with a previous Model vehicle than the one we discussed. To my surprise and frustration they priced the vehicle only for the EX version and did not match up the price to the EXT model that I wanted. They fooled me with the VIN of EX and did not show the prime difference between EX and EXT which is the 1.5T engine. The manager Robert Spencer was the most disrespectful and Rudest person I ever seen or had to converse with. When I explained the situation the guy was never in any position to listen with only idea to suck more money from me and they eventually did. 1. When I said I trusted them, the reply was, “why did you, you shouldnt have”. 2. When I said, the only reason I came here was the place was nearby and looked decent but now I ended up in this situation, the reply was “Why did you come here, pay the extra money or keep the EX model”. 3. Discussions went on like this and another Manager intervened to reduce the extra money which is the only choice I had. 4. Finally I got the car with no add-ons, paid additional money and I deeply regret that I should have taken the deal with any other dealer who offered better price and quality. There is not even a bit of satisfaction when I left the doors of Tampa Honda, on the Contrary I was completely stressed out, disappointed and irritated. More

Sam was an excellent sales person and he was so patient and helpful through the entire process. Thank you Sam Albashiti, you made my process so easy and smooth. They need more salesmen like yourself. Also, I can't forget about Joe Toppa who was a great help in the finance department. Very helpful and understanding as well. You guys really made things a lot easier for me. I never got to the finance stage but I am genuinely concerned that there would have been more surprises in that part of the process too. They add on useless junk to EVERY car to make a profit and then haggle with you about removing it which is ridiculous. I didn't ask you to add the stuff and if I don't want it then it's that simple. I contacted the dealer prior to a car arriving on the lot and made it VERY clear that I would not buy if they added anything to the car. When I arrived less than 24 hours after the truck dropped the vehicle off there were over 3k in extra add ins. The sales person Stevie I had made an appointment with was nowhere to be found and it was over 20 minutes before they got me another sales person. That sales person had no idea what the dealership had for stock and although he wound up being extremely knowledgeable on the vehicle I was rubbed the wrong way from the very beginning. At no point in the nearly 2 hours I was there did Stevie ever stop by which is very poor business. The car cost was 21,550 and by the time all was said and done the loan was going to be 31k....for a civic. If I wanted to spend over 30k I would buy an accord where I am at least getting a car worth close to that. I was told by the sales person that the add ons are put on every single vehicle within hours of it arriving and then was told by the finance guy that they could not be removed "but I would not be charged for them if I didn't want them". So basically they wouldn't bring my trade to a fair value because they were still trying to make profit off the 3k in extra junk they added in. Not okay. The finance guy was also unaware of the programs Honda was offering and even brought me a page to prove me wrong where it highlighted the exact program I was referring to. Really? Aren't you the expert? They continually mentioned that they are in the business to sell cars but clearly they are in the business of marking up cars to unsuspecting customers which I am not. I would stay far away from this dealership and the two other locations that they are affiliated with. It is all a numbers game and to them the numbers are unrealistic and skewed far too much in their favor. I have dealt with quite a few dealerships in the area and never had this problem. There are still honest people out there who are in the business to sell cars, this dealership is not one of them. More

In addition, I have been calling accounting for the past 3 days for questions about my old bank payments, and I have yet been able to speak with anyone. The phone receptionist tells me that they are pretty busy and gets my name and number and promises a call back, and guess what, no calls yet. I regret my visit and having to purchase from TampaHonda in florida ave. More

Corey went above and beyond to ensure our purchasing process was seamless and efficient. He made us feel as though we were his only client, even going so far as to communicate after hours on his personal phone. He answered all questions and upon pickup of the Pilot, made sure it was spotless and took time to explain all the features and answer questions. Lame customer service Not a very good dealership. Took a trip to see a 2011 Accord. Got to the front desk and waited, and waited, and waited to be served. Once somebody got to the front desk, I let the woman know I had an appointment with Summer. She got Summer, then Summer said to take a seat as she would get the vehicle ready for a test drive so I wait. Out of nowhere, this guy comes in saying "hey Tim, how are you? I called you after you spoke to Summer but you didn't answer." First of all, I did not get any missed calls from anybody and second, my name is not Tim so he lied to me right of the bat or he just did not know what was going on. Then before I can tell him that my name is not Tim, he says that his assistant Paul or something, will help me. Never saw Summer again during my visit. Next, he can't find the key to the car, so he took me for a stroll around the lot to see if there was anything else I would like. Eventually, at the very back of the lot, we find the car I came to see. While he goes back to try and find the keys again, I check out the car. Some scratches, dings and peeling all around. Not horrible but definitely something that should change the asking price. I could tell that someone tried to force the driver side open from the scrapes on the paint and a slightly bent door frame. Anyways, he comes back with the key and says that I can take a look inside and turn it on but I can't test driver it because the car is not for sale yet, even though they had it on their website for sale with no warning that it is not for sale yet. He couldn't even tell me when they could sell it to me. So I check it out inside. Once we headed back to the front of the dealership, I start talking about price and he tells me that the price is non negotiable. "What are you a CarMax?" I said. So I asked him to call me if they change their mind and he sent me on my way. I don't know if he was new there but I get better customer service at a cellphone store at the mall. I really was hoping to end my car search that day but they let me down. My first experience with Tampa Honda, very disappointing. More
