This review is about the service department. I had been contemplating buying a new car here, but it is not worth it with the bad service. I have been taking my car for service for over 10 years. Every tim contemplating buying a new car here, but it is not worth it with the bad service. I have been taking my car for service for over 10 years. Every time I go I have to wait an extremely long time, even though I always make an appointment. Each time I wait, the tech upfront says they have to check, as if they had to leave me wait an entire day till they call back. My car was under warranty and they never found the problems during those years, now I had to pay and they still did not fix the issues. Last time I made a morning appointment and dropped it off, they said they'd call me. They didn't even bother till the following day. Then they worked on the car and I kept calling, told it was not ready. By this time, I took Uber there (what happened to offering anything??), and the desk tech had not even checked on my car which was just sitting there. It was 5:30pm the next day. Had I not gone, who knows how long it would have taken. It's the same issue every single time. Now I have to waste yet another day, or another who knows how long, for them to tell me there is nothing wrong with it, when there is. A disgrace. No apology offered either. More
Terrible Experience We Are Here To Help Our highest priority is ensuring the safety of our staff and customers. As we receive information about the Coronavirus (Covid-19 We Are Here To Help Our highest priority is ensuring the safety of our staff and customers. As we receive information about the Coronavirus (Covid-19), we at Tamiami Hyundai can assure you we are taking steps to keep our Tamiami family and local Naples community healthy. We are committed to following CDC guidelines. They are not following CDC guidelines. On Monday, June 22nd, I contacted the dealership about a 2017 Hyundai Elantra Sport, a certified pre-owned they were advertising on their website. I was called by Brad, who told me that the vehicle was available. So far, so good. I explained that I was not local I was calling from central Florida and would they do business. I was told yes. Great!!! We explained that we were pre-approved and transferring a tag. All the information the dealership needed was completed and provided. All this took a matter of minutes. However, Mr. Champer felt that further review of our data was required. He asked the finance director, Remi Mendozzi, to look into possible fraud. Ok? I can understand potential fraud. No problem. The information was reviewed and confirmed by Mr. Mendozzi. They made contact with my bank; a check issued and cashed before any paperwork took effect. When we finally received the paperwork after six days, all the forms were blank. Brad told me that the dealership wanted my wife and me to sign the blank forms and mail them back to the dealership. I don't believe anyone in their right mind would sign blank papers. They don't trust who we are, but we are to trust their integrity after a lack of communication and transparency between all the parties involved. Not to mention, I left a message for the Pre-Owned Manager, Paul Campos. But he never returned my call. Finally, Mr. Champer gives me a call. I assumed that he was going to remedy all the confusion. But, his solution was to tell me that either I sign the paperwork and send it back or cancel the deal. He didn't want to get into all the logistics of what happened. This dealership made every attempt to scrub the agreement. How is it that they require certain information from you, but you cant expect the same. Every effort was made to have us terminate the sale. Well, they were successful. And to think that they felt they were doing us a favor somehow. Everyone's experience is different. I understand that. Such a simple and effortless transaction ended up losing a sale for Mr. Camino. I hope Mr. Camino had no involvement. But you know how that goes—guilt by association. I have yet to meet an honest salesperson or a dealership with any integrity or transparency. The individual who came up with the phrase "Buyer Beware" was bleeding from the rectum. I would recommend anyone doing business with this dealership or any dealership. To Beware!!! More

Dishonest My partner made the enormous mistake of buying some of their extended warranties and other protections (always a mistake). They will tell you that you My partner made the enormous mistake of buying some of their extended warranties and other protections (always a mistake). They will tell you that you can refund them, but do not believe them. We cancelled these extra services in January. It is now April and we have STILL not received it. There is no excuse for that. It is unacceptable. I absolutely would not trust this dealership and whatever you do, do NOT purchase any extended coverage or extra services of any kind. More

Excellent customer service My daughter's car was DOA on the side of the road the other day and we had it towed to the nearest Hyundai dealership. We had terrible service there My daughter's car was DOA on the side of the road the other day and we had it towed to the nearest Hyundai dealership. We had terrible service there and I was getting very frustrated as I wanted a safe vehicle for my daughter and I felt that I wasn't getting the best service there. I spoke with Linda at Tamiami Hyundai and explained the problem. She was able to get the car transferred to Tamiami and had the issue taken care of the same day. She really went above and beyond to help us and get my daughter back on the road safely. I could not be happier with Tamiami Hyundai service department, Linda especially. Thank you so much for your understanding and help with this issue. I really appreciate you Linda. More
Awesome folks and awesome deals I called Tamiami Hyundai after a deal fell through at another Hyundai dealership becasue they had the same vehicle, same color and trim I was looking I called Tamiami Hyundai after a deal fell through at another Hyundai dealership becasue they had the same vehicle, same color and trim I was looking for. After speaking with Rob Reilly over the phone he went to work to try to make that same deal happen. We communicated via text when I had company over and miraculously his managers allowed the same deal to be made with their dealership; although it was very much not in their favor. We did the financing application process over text and email and was approved for the special 0% on the new Kona I was eyeing. The next morning I drove FOUR HOURS to meet these guys when they opened. Rob was already there filing the preliminary paperwork, my Kona had just finished being detailed and within 30 minutes I was in finance. The finance manger, I wish I could recall his name, was literally the ONLY finance person I've dealt with that wasn't pushy with anything, met my needs to the T and made everything just work. When I finished Rob had already taken the liberty of moving my stuff from my trade into my Kona, something that would have typically taken ~15-20 minutes on my own. These guys work wonders and seeing that other dealers said that this deal HAD to be fake because it was too good shows me they really care more about the customer more than the sale. I'd recommend them to anyone, and although I dreaded driving approximately 8 hours just to purchase a car, I felt it was well worth the effort. More
