I would not normally take the time to post anything on a website about my buying experiences. However I am doing it for the following reasons: *I did not want to run out of car before I ran out of paym website about my buying experiences. However I am doing it for the following reasons: *I did not want to run out of car before I ran out of payments. Hyundai's 200,000 mi/20-yr warranty cannot be beaten. *I talked to several dealerships. I know what my 1996, high mileage, 11 miles to the gallon car is worth and everyone except Tammeron wanted to play a trade-in game with me. I asked Mike McQuire what he thought about my trade-in. He straight out told me "not much", they they would only wholesale the car, the best thing for me was to try to sell it outright to an individual. The price he offered was accurate. I asked Mike a straight question and he gave me a truthful straight answer. This was very refreshing and timely. Earlier in the day I visited the dealer claiming to give you $5000 more than Blue Book for your trade. If you think someone is just going to give you $5,000 more than your car is worth, you will reconfirm the old saying “ if it's too good to be true”. You will also have a very bad experience if you go down this road. If you are trading in a gas guzzling car, high mileage car, appreciate the fact Mike/Tammeron did not try to get an upper hand on you with the “trade-in game." *I'm 58 and I do not need too much help deciding want I want to spend $30,000+ on. Mike knew trying to put any pressure on me, playing any type of game, or to give me any reason to think I was not getting right and true full answers would work against him. Mike also knew I was talking to other dealers. He stayed the course, did not come back with a lower price a day or two later. He gave me the best price up front and in the fullness of time, I proved to myself he was right. Also in the fullness of time I proved to myself a number of reasons I'm glad I walked away from the other dealerships. The other dealers would call me frequently always with a “better deal”. Do you really want to deal with moving target or a salesperson that is going to play you? More
Chris was very patient and answered all of my questions. Best of all, he was not pushy. The sales manager, James Spivey, went above and beyond to make sure I got the car that was perfect for our family. Kev Best of all, he was not pushy. Kevin, in financing, was also very patient and explained all the numbers and warranty questions that my husband and I asked. I highly recomend Tameron and these gentlemen to help anyone. This is my second car from Tameron and I'm certain it won't be my last. Thanks Guys...Keep up the great work!! Angie Pretnar More
Before arriving I thought I knew what I wanted. Mr. Kelly answered all of my questions and allowed me to test drive three different cars so I could be sure of my choices and make an informed decision. There answered all of my questions and allowed me to test drive three different cars so I could be sure of my choices and make an informed decision. There was no pressure to buy. I will return to Tameron for my next car and recommend Mr. Kelly and Tameron Hyundai completely! I feel I got a good pre-owned car at a good price. More
I was in the market for a new car. I was considering a few different brands and ultimately chose a Hyundai Sonata. I was delighted to be attended to, by Sales Representative, Mike McGuire, he was extremely polite and knowledgeable, and not over pushy at any time. Certainly an asset to Tameron. Our experience with Mike McGuire and others at Tameron was fabulous and eventful. Not pushy, willing to sincerely care about helping us finance a car. We did not feel intimidated, stressed or persuaded to do something we did not want to do. Everyone was helpful and knowledgable about the cars and what would meet our needs. Mike McGuire has a very laid back sales personality that totally matches the way we like to make deals. We truly appreciate him and his staff in helping us finance this new Sonata. We have enjoyed driving it so much. Thank you More
Worst experience ever. I walked onto the lot to buy a Blue Elantra Coupe SE. i waited 15 minutes and no sales person came to assist me. I then walked to the offices and proceeded to wait another 10 min Blue Elantra Coupe SE. i waited 15 minutes and no sales person came to assist me. I then walked to the offices and proceeded to wait another 10 minutes. While standing outside sales trailer, still no help. I then walked into trailer and initiated a conversation with an employee asking to see a recommended sales person. I was told he was no longer there. At this point they asked me my name and I obliged. No introduction on their part. Conversation ended there and they proceeded to go back to their computers. Too bad they lost a sale that would have happened that very day. May try another Hyundai dealership, but won't return to Tameron. More
In January, I purchased my first new car, a Hyundai Elantra, from Tameron Hyuandai. I walked in with a budget and a certain payment in mind and did not want to veer far from that amount. I was great by Elantra, from Tameron Hyuandai. I walked in with a budget and a certain payment in mind and did not want to veer far from that amount. I was great by a very personable gentleman, Mike McGuire. He answered all my questions thoroughly and with accuracy, going the extra mile to help in financing, delivery, paperwork, etc. This was not a decision I had taken lightly, doing various research on numerous cars and specifically the Hyundai. I am thrilled with my new car and the experience thus far with Tameron Hyundai and would and have recommended Mike McGuire and the Tameron Dealership to friends, family, and anyone. - Sloan Dixon More
I went in to have my 2012 sonata serviced and left with a new vehicle. Very pleased with the new 2013 sonata. It has many upgrades from the other one including navigation with backup camera, sunroof, and the new vehicle. Very pleased with the new 2013 sonata. To start off with was quoted 18k for my trade in. When bank received the price sheet from the dealer she alerted me that they had my trade listed as 17k. Mistakes happen so we met in the middle at 17.5 K bank received the price sheet from the dealer she alerted me that they had my trade listed as 17k. Mistakes happen so we met in the middle at 17.5 K no problem. About 30 minutes later my insurance company called and said the vin provided didnt match the vehicle description. I was quoted a 2.0 turbo Santa Fe and the dealer sent me a vin for a 2.4L Santa Fe at higher cost than the 2.0 with the upgraded engine. Called the dealership again and another mistake on their part. Called my bank again and asked her to email me a copy of the price sheet sent over from Tamerono, they had added $199 for nitrogen in the tires. Called dealer yet a 3rd time and they took it off. Drove close to 100 miles to the dealership. Was about to sign the final papers and yet another suprise...they needed to see my tag receipt for proof i owned a hyundai in order to get a loyality rebate...never mind my trade in Sonata was sitting right there in front of them. So I could either cut them a check for $500 and they hold it till i went 100 miles back to Montgomery and fax them a receipt. At this point I'm like screw this, give me my keys to my trade in back and I will take my business else where. The manager tried to save the deal but I had had my fill of doing business with Tameron More
