I’ve really appreciated the service in the past, however I was pretty disappointed by my service writer this time. Totally cocky and the definition of slimy car salesman. Tried to tell me I was going to pay over $500 for a routine checkup. When I told him I was under warranty and since I came BEFORE I hit my 30K mileage marker, this checkup should be free. He was NOT thrilled that I knew that, and sure enough I was right. Once he realized he wasn’t pulling a fast one on me his attitude completely shifted. When my vehicle was finished he just told me to sign the papers, (didn’t go into detail as to what they actually did), dropped my keys on the counter and walked away. And when I got to my car they didn’t even have the followthrough to change the service sticker on my inside window. I had to go back in and confirm when I needed to come in for my next check in. I was met with such poor attitude and coldness, such a shame, I would expect this from other car brands service teams I’ve worked with, but Hyundai was always so good about communication and customer care. Really hope this isn’t the new standard. More
