I went in to look at a 2008 Lexus IS250 on a Thursday after I got off work, after test driving it with the Salesman Larry Shingler I decided Id like to buy it. I told Larry many many times what I needed for a payment,but they couldn't meet my requirements because they refused to come off any on the price of the car, we did however come to an agreement on a price I could live with. The sales staff do not care about your time, they DO NOT get in any kind of a hurry, after signing all of the salesmans papers I now had to deal with Seth Starnes, this man is the biggest dimwit I have ever incountered, no people skills what so ever, I don't know how he got that job. I sign all the papers but was informed I had to submit a recent paycheck stub and a social security card, I informed them that I had already wasted enough time there at the dealership and that I would have to return on Monday with the documents they requested. Seth looks at my paycheck stub and questions me on it because it was different than what they sent in to the bank, I informed him that the salesman Larry Shingler came up with the number that they sent into the bank because I told Larry that I didn't know an exact total on my income that it was so up and down,he told me that it didn't matter. I asked Seth if the bank would change something and the dimwit tells me that he didn't know, and he acted like he didn't really care,told me that he would call me the next morning, which he didn't call me, I had to call the salesman that afternoon, Larry returned my call and told me that everything was ok and that they would mail me my paper work, that was a Tuesday, Saturday came and no paperwork, so I called Larry, he told me it was mailed, I waited a few more days called larry again,which he didn't return my call, now its Thursday the 1st,14 days after I signed the paperwork and I still don't have it, so I went there to see them in person and Seth tells me "oh yeah, let me go get you your paperwork", it was there the whole time, they never mailed it, I told Seth that I only have 20 days to transfer my car tag and I was going out of town on vacation in two days, and this dimwit just shrugged his shoulders and gave me a "So what" look, and Larry Shingler didn't care, he had already went back to his desk and was stuffing his face. As I said, it was an Awful experience and I DO NOT recommend Tameron Hyundai to buy a car from, Very uncaring staff, I tell everyone about how bad I was treated at Tameron Hyundai More
Great Dealership! I had a delightful experience with Nathan Jordan! He understood that I was only in the "looking" process and he still went out of his way helping me and I felt no pressure from him! We came to a reasonable price with the help of James Spivey, and we bought it without any of the sales pressure you expect from dealerships. Both Charley and James LISTENED to what I had to say, and met our needs. My wife drove it from Birmingham to Destin, Florida, and called me when she arrived saying it was the smoothest most comfortable ride she had experienced (she drives a Mercedes), and was looking forward to taking trips in this vehicle. Now we believe that Charlie, James and the Santa Fe Sport 2.0T exceeded our expectations. This was the best car buying experience I have ever had and I highly recommend Tameron Hyundai and the Santa Fe Sport. More

Richard and John, the sale managers always followed up to make sure I was getting what I needed. I was very impressed with the professionalism and expertise of the Tameron Hyundia staff. Five Stars across the board for this group- I will tell all my friends about my great experience and will buy my next car with this wonderful and experienced group. This was my first financed purchase of a vehicle. I was absolutely terrified. When I went in, Seth met me at the door and asked me what I needed. I told him my financial needs and he found a vehicle that was perfect for me to rebuild my credit without breaking me in the process. My payments are perfect and the car has been a joy since I signed the paperwork. Seth is a real sweet heart and sold me from the moment he started talking about doughnuts and his sweet tooth. He was so friendly and listened to every word and concern i had. He was a breath of fresh air compared to the pushy, over zealous dealers i have dealt with in the past. Will be going back in two years for a newer model! More
I would not normally take the time to post anything on a website about my buying experiences. Hyundai's 200,000 mi/20-yr warranty cannot be beaten. *I talked to several dealerships. I know what my 1996, high mileage, 11 miles to the gallon car is worth and everyone except Tammeron wanted to play a trade-in game with me. I asked Mike McQuire what he thought about my trade-in. He straight out told me "not much", they they would only wholesale the car, the best thing for me was to try to sell it outright to an individual. The price he offered was accurate. I asked Mike a straight question and he gave me a truthful straight answer. This was very refreshing and timely. Earlier in the day I visited the dealer claiming to give you $5000 more than Blue Book for your trade. If you think someone is just going to give you $5,000 more than your car is worth, you will reconfirm the old saying “ if it's too good to be true”. You will also have a very bad experience if you go down this road. If you are trading in a gas guzzling car, high mileage car, appreciate the fact Mike/Tammeron did not try to get an upper hand on you with the “trade-in game." *I'm 58 and I do not need too much help deciding want I want to spend $30,000+ on. Mike knew trying to put any pressure on me, playing any type of game, or to give me any reason to think I was not getting right and true full answers would work against him. Mike also knew I was talking to other dealers. He stayed the course, did not come back with a lower price a day or two later. He gave me the best price up front and in the fullness of time, I proved to myself he was right. Also in the fullness of time I proved to myself a number of reasons I'm glad I walked away from the other dealerships. The other dealers would call me frequently always with a “better deal”. Do you really want to deal with moving target or a salesperson that is going to play you? More
