I was just as concerned about getting the rodent smell out of the car as cleaning up the rodent. The last time this occurred, the service department kept the vehicle until the smell was gone, which took out of the car as cleaning up the rodent. My 2018 Santa Fe was brought in for service for the 4th time regarding a loud grinding noise audible at low speeds. Car was left for an entire day and each time the mechanic couldn’t replicate the noise. S time regarding a loud grinding noise audible at low speeds. Services were recommended to remedy situation - services were performed outside dealership since I had no faith in their work at this point. The noise is audible each and every time after the diagnostic visit. Literally driving away after this 4th visit it was audible, so I brought it back to the service dept wondering why they can’t replicate the issue when I can hear it pulling out of the service center. If the issue was not related to likely a warranty issue I would have brought to another mechanic to remedy. I just keep wasting my time dropping it off. Blake - the manager on duty offered to try to make things right and would call me next business day to arrange for the shop foreman to come to my house and ride in the car with me so I could replicate the issue for him. Blake has not followed up or called to this point. I will be taking my business to another dealership. More
