Chris and Matt went above and beyond to make my service experience a great one. With the recent closing of Macomb Nissan, the next closest Nissan dealership to my home is about a 1 1/2 hour drive. I origin experience a great one. With the recent closing of Macomb Nissan, the next closest Nissan dealership to my home is about a 1 1/2 hour drive. I originally had an appointment scheduled with another dealership that day. However, once I reached that dealership after the long drive, the service manager told me that I had been misinformed about my appointment and told me that my vehicle could not even be looked at for at least another 4 days since his service dept was "booked." I explained to him that I had previously spoken to one of his service employees about the issue I was having with my vehicle and was told that my car could be looked at that day. The service manager was very rude and merely said that was wrong information and that he had no explanation as to why I had been told to come in. I left that dealership and called Tamaroff. Chris was very accommodating, and even though their service dept was also extremely busy that day, he was willing to help me out since I was in the area and had made arrangements with my own place of employment to take time out of my schedule to have my car serviced. When I arrived to Tamaroff, it was a different experience than I had received at Suburban Troy Nissan. The staff was very friendly and seemed much more knowledgeable about my vehicle. They took great care in diagnosing the issue and making sure the proper repairs were handled. Even though Tamaroff is not the closest service dealership to my home, I would highly recommend their service department and would definitely return there in the future if the need arises. More
I scheduled an appointment for my first service visit on my new Altima a week in advance; spoke with staff member Matt. After arriving on Thursday at 10:30am, the day of the appointment I was told by Jason another staff member, my order could not be found in the computer. I suggested he look for my information under my cell phone number this is when he found my name, but he stated he could not find a service appointment. He went ahead and took the car for the oil change, but stated I would have to reschedule and come back in a week to have the door serviced. At this point I am very disappointed to be told to reschedule after already waiting a week, now the inconvenience of making arraignments on my job to come back again. This did not make sense to me and I had to be firm on my position that this is an inconvenience. I asked Jason to found Matt, who was supposed to enter my service call and find out where he entered my order rather than inconvenience me and my family to come back another week from now. He had a change of mind and went ahead and found someone to service the door. This whole process took about 1:45 mins. I consider this not a good customer service experience! More

Don Scherbing was extremely friendly, and highly customer-centric. I had initially selected a coupe the dealership brought to me from another area. I ended up not liking the coupe, and Don went ou customer-centric. I had initially selected a coupe the dealership brought to me from another area. I ended up not liking the coupe, and Don went out of his way to make me feel ok about changing my selection to a sedan at the last minute. He then got me the exact car I wanted for basically the same price I agreed to earlier. He did everything he could to make my experience positive. The manager, Mike, was extremely helpful as well. I will go back to Tamaroff again, and will certainly purchase or lease my next vehicle from Don. More

I showed up and left with the exact Maxima I picked out on their online dealer inventory at the price we discussed. No run around, no hassle. To this day, I drive an hour out of my way to get the car serviced there and meet with the staff. Jason's honesty and competence have turned me into a loyal customer. Since the lease of my Maxima, I've also returned to pick up a Rogue. Same great service at an unbeatable price. More

I had gone to Jeffrey Auto first, but after I didn't purchase the car (didn't find what I was looking for), the sales person dropped me like a hot potato. Mike was outstanding. He wasn't dismayed th purchase the car (didn't find what I was looking for), the sales person dropped me like a hot potato. Mike was outstanding. He wasn't dismayed that I didn't pick the first car (or second car), and really hung in there with me until I found the RIGHT car and it is PERFECT! I have had the car one month, and I already have over 2000 miles on it. We looked at one car, that one just wasn't it, looked at another, no go (didn't get the "this is it" feeling). He still didn't give up. I left for the evening. He gave me a call before I got home to thank me for coming in and told me to hang in there with him. That gave me hope. I looked on my computer (stayed up until 1:30 a.m.) to get some ideas and came up with something that might work. He called the next morning to say he didn't know which car it was going to be, but he knew he had the right car for me in stock. I sensed he was right! I don't shop for cars often (thank goodness) and this was my first car purchase in over 10 years. There are several things I look for when shopping for a car, and some things I need... ? Outstanding gas mileage (currently getting around 38 mpg) ? Ease of driving / handling ? Room for a double bass (yup, the big guy), which my daughter plays ? Great Price ? Comfort (sits a bit high as I am fairly tall and knees don’t like low cars) ? Car that was more mine than my daughters as she is never really home anyway, just uses it when she is home to cart her bass around and hang with friends ? Great on the road ? A few fun bells and whistles (within my budget) I went in and told him of my findings. He had been looking also, came up with the exact same conclusion and had one or two of each "level" of the Nissan Versa sedan. We looked, and realized we needed the one with the fold down rear seat. There were only two in stock (black and silver). I selected the silver one. I purchased the car on November 10, at 1pm and put it on the road at 6 p.m. that same night - going to Kalamazoo and back to see my daughter in her first concert with the Kalamazoo Philharmonic Orchestra. My car is now 1 month old and I have over 2000 miles on it and I love it! We just brought the bass back home from college (semester break) and there was plenty of room for her in the back of the car (or for me as we switched on our way back). We were squished in the Saturn, but we have plenty of room and we didn't even let down the seats! If you need to get an idea of what it is like with that puppy in the car, look up "double bass in a small car" videos on youtube to get an idea. I have my Ipod thingy, my steering wheel phone thingy, cruise control, I am happy, happy, happy!!! I enjoy being in my car, I love driving it, it's comfortable, outstanding gas mileage, and one of the favorite cars I've had over the years (and I don't buy cars often - this is car #5 in 40 years!). I am truly (truly, truly!) pleased, I absolutely thrilled with Mike Gross and he really hung in there with me. He never pressured me, just let me konw we would find the best car for my needs, and would figure out which one it would be. I felt inspired to dig around and come up with ideas that would match what I was looking for in the selection that was available through your organization. I am truly happy with my purchase! More
