Bought my Camry from Magic in 2006. I've always had great service. Recently, just after my warranty expired, I had an interior engine oil leak which was terribly expensive to fix. Magic absorbed the great service. Recently, just after my warranty expired, I had an interior engine oil leak which was terribly expensive to fix. Magic absorbed the price of the parts and charged me for labor only thereby honoring the warranty. I was so relieved and impressed. I would highly recommend Magic to anyone. Ann Cobb More
Via the internet, I found a used car I was interested in at the Magic Toyota dealership. I studied it's reviews and it's value at several different sites (Edmund's, Kelley Blue Book, NADA Guide, etc.) The c at the Magic Toyota dealership. I studied it's reviews and it's value at several different sites (Edmund's, Kelley Blue Book, NADA Guide, etc.) The car I was interested in was excessively overpriced at the dealership. However, I was certain that with a cash offer, plus 2 trade-ins, they would be reasonable and accept my offer. My husband and I test drove the car (and one similar to it) a couple of times to be sure it was mechanically sound as there was to be no warranty on it. The car seemed to labor going up a hill, but when we went up the same hill again, we did not experience the same problem. The other car (same model, year, color, etc., just had more miles on it) appeared to have some issue with the brakes and made a strange sound when it accelerated. After discussing it at length, we chose to go with the car that had appeared to labor up the hill. But, we really did not feel 100% about either car. (I might have been easily talked into an extended warranty if the car qualified.) The car's value was, at most, $6750. I offered $6000 out the door plus 2 trade-ins. The trade-ins were older cars that had a trade-in value, according to KBB, of about $2200 together. I feel this was a very fair offer. We handed over the registrations to our cars. The salesman, Dante, (who, by the way, we liked) took our offer to the sales manager. The sales manager did not accept our offer, and made a counter-offer, the offer being giving us $2000 for our trade-ins and not budging at all on the price of the vehicle. That was disappointing, but I am not one to negotiate, and I told the salesman as much. I make an offer. If you can do it, great! If not, thanks for your time, but we are not interested in the haggling game. They wanted to rework numbers, but I just wanted to leave. We were just too far apart. My husband asked them to return our registrations. They insisted that we wait; they might be able to give us the deal we want. They were trying to get a hold of the wholesaler and see if they could get more for our cars. The idea that they could get enough for the deficit between what they wanted and what we were asking was almost laughable. I just could not see that happening. We almost felt like we were being held hostage. Of course, they could not reach the wholesaler, and "took a chance" and offered us $3000 for the trade-ins. Okay, now you know you are dealing with the stereotypical car salesman who jacks their car price up so much that they can give you a lot more than your car's value to make it look as though they are working with you to get you the price you want. Strangely, though, the price of the car itself felt very little movement. Even though they were offering me $3000 for my cars, the remaining balance on the car exceeded its value. Again, no thanks. We asked for our registrations back again. The car's price fell again, slightly, but STILL exceeded it's value. They told me this car was very popular and they could get what they wanted for it; they were just trying to work with me because they want to get me a great deal. The car had been on their lot for a month. I was okay with them selling it to some other sucker, but I was leaving and taking my cars with me. I was not as emotionally attached to the car as I was to my money. They gave us back "our registrations," or so I thought. Turns out, one of the registrations actually belonged to someone else. That felt like a breach of privacy. My husband went back in to return the registration and obtain our missing one. After we left, I turned to my husband and said, "You had a great experience at Lynnwood Honda, why don't we go and see if Mike has anything there?" He thought that was an awesome idea. It was a Friday, and after the weekend, we went to the Honda dealership. While we were waiting for Mike to get a key for the test drive, Mojo from the Toyota dealership called me. He said that they had all kinds of great trade-in vehicles and they could work with my price point, and he would give me even more for my trade-ins. He would get me a great deal. I asked him how many miles were on a specific car he mentioned. He said he would go check and call me back. I told my husband about Mojo's call. His expression turned to one of disgust, and he said he would never set foot on that dealership again. Well, Mojo never bothered to call me back anyway. Meanwhile, we had another great experience at the Honda dealership. After 2 for 2, we could not have said enough nice things about the place and Mike, the salesman, who answered all of our questions and never pressured us. We resolved that we will probably always just go there first when we need to buy a car and not waste our time elsewhere. More

I first contacted Magic Toyota through the Internet. Per the TMV website, I was supposed to receive a quotation, but immediately got a call back asking me to come in rather than a quote. I did receive a qu the TMV website, I was supposed to receive a quotation, but immediately got a call back asking me to come in rather than a quote. I did receive a quote after explaining that I wasn't coming in until I received a quote, which appeared to be decent. However, when I went into the dealership and took a test drive, the salesman, in describing the car, gave me information that I knew was incorrect from doing my homework on the car. His response, when I questioned him, was "I'll let you be right". I knew what my trade was worth from the Kelly Blue book, but when we sat down to finalize the deal, the salesman and manager came back with a ridiculous offer that was supposedly Kelly Blue Book, but wasn't even close. After a couple of "back & forths" negotiating, I asked for our key back and decided to leave. The sales manager then came running after us throwing enticing numbers at us with the excuse that he was just trying to make money for the company. I wouldn't do business with this dealership. More
