One of the worst customer service experiences of my life! I specifically drove from South St. Louis County to St. Peters to buy a specific vehicle from Suntrup. Mind was made up, no one had to even make a sa I specifically drove from South St. Louis County to St. Peters to buy a specific vehicle from Suntrup. Mind was made up, no one had to even make a sale. I had to ASK to be waited on, then was passed from one person to another, understandable, one person was busy. Was not asked my name by the salesperson, never called by my name during the duration of the visit. The pricing form had to be completed 4 times because "it has to be neat or finance will not accept it" and each time it came back the price was different. The sales person was not knowledgeable about the options, I was told we could "add the navigation for $795"--actually it can't be added; I was given a price of $200 for a trailer hitch and receiver as well--I think the price is closer to $550. Once we were in agreement we were told we would have to wait 1.5 to 3 hours to meet with finance. I was told it was "illegal" to even mention to the sales person anything about a down payment or financing. Matter of fact I was told that a lot of things were illegal. I was encouraged to come back later in the week and then meet with finance. I had previously told the salesperson that "I had to leave with a car that day". When he delivered the news, he said "you won't be happy with this... Not here is a waiting lounge, could I get you some water--you've already been here 2 hours. We were at another salesperson's desk, he went to my daughter and said you need to move, this isn't my desk,--not excuse me, could I bother you to move over here so _______ could have his desk back. I expressed my frustration and the salesperson jumped on the wagon, "I'm not the boss, that's how they do it, yeah, I know it's bad....." I went outside, called Dave Sinclair, they found a vehicle I was happy with. We explained to the salesperson that we were going elsewhere--he made no effort to say "let me see what I can do, or how long it might be--I don't want to lose your business"--matter of fact he said, "I understand". So we left, were called on our way confirming our appointment and were in and out of Dave Sinclair in less than 1.5 hours with a new Terrain. All before we would have even seen finance at Suntrup. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND and WILL DETER ANYONE FROM GOING THERE. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! More

Our car had several features new to us and she was very patient and thorough in her explanations, making sure that we understood everything and that we were very happy with our purchase. She is excellent at her job and we would definitely recommend her to others. We were also impressed by the friendliness of the rest of the staff as well. More

I don't care if you think your favorite brand is the best. Automobiles are going to break and it will always come down to the quality of the service department. I have been most impressed with Suntrup Service in St Peters, MO. Tim Bacon has helped me twice to identify tough to diagnose/fix problems. His patience and determination to find the problem, solution and warranty coverage was superb. In addition, he located me a loaner car that ended up saving me hundreds of dollars. The service department found the problem, fixed it and charged me a more than fair price. I remain impressed and loyal. Thank you Tim. Well done brother. Nick More
Getting it done My wife and I were on our way to Ft. Riley, KS, to witness our son's return from Afghanistan. We were driving a new GMC Sierra when we noticed. an alert telling is a taillight was out. We stopped in Suntrup and were immediately greeted by Jeff and Angelo who were very busy, but stopped to see what they could do for us. Problem was defined and Angelo noted there was a recall on this particular vehicle and would I like to have that taken care of as well. Having been told to go ahead with the light repair and the recall, Angelo sprang into action and in less than 1 hour we were on our way to Ft. Riley. There was no charge. Amazing service. More
Harlen was a good salesman. I only have a few issues with my overall purchase. One issue is, I had damage on the rear passenger side of the vehicle I was buying. Harlen stated they would attempt to fi with my overall purchase. One issue is, I had damage on the rear passenger side of the vehicle I was buying. Harlen stated they would attempt to fix the problem a little and make it appear nicer. Once dropping off the vehicle for a few items to be fixed, I was told by the Service Department, the Used Car Manager canned the fix of this area of my car. Stating the vehicle was sold "as is". The next issue I am having currently is, I am still waiting for my payoff check to my old lender. This is causing a problem with my payment for the old car as it is due in a few days. We like most families can not afford to be hit with two car payments for the month of April. I have dealt with Angelo in Service, who has been fantastic. Overall, my experience has been good. I have been a die hard Bob Brockland customer, but after comparing prices, Suntrup just beat them out. Plain and simple. More
