DO NOT trust this place. Plain and simple they will rip you off and lie to your face, tell you what you want to hear. They have no clue what they are even selling. I knew more about the product then they you off and lie to your face, tell you what you want to hear. They have no clue what they are even selling. I knew more about the product then they did. It is totally my fault for following through with my purchase. I cant stress this enough, DO NOT TRUST OR BY FROM THESE CLOWNS..... More
After much searching for the right product I was confident that the Primetime Tracer 245bhs was the trailer to best suit my families needs. After several hours of email and telephone negotiating wit confident that the Primetime Tracer 245bhs was the trailer to best suit my families needs. After several hours of email and telephone negotiating with Sunset RV I paid my deposit and arranged to make the 3hr drive a week later. I arranged to get to the area the day before and stayed with my 9yr old son in a local hotel (Father and son quality time or so I thought) so I could be at the dealership by 9.30 the following morning. As it happens my son and I were a little early and arrived at 9am as we were keen to see our new trailer and complete the transaction as quick as possible so we could cross the Canadian border before nightfall. This is where the nightmare started. Firstly the salesman didn't show up until 9.50am with no explanation other than a halfhearted "Sorry, but you said 9.30 not 9" Then it was explained that "Mark" the finance Mgr was too busy to sign my papers but would follow us to the service lott (Around 15-20 miles away)This would allow time for my orientation and fitting of the brake controller and hitch. My Son and I arrived at the service center and then said goodby to the salesman (Never to be seen again to this day...) As he departed he advised that Mark the Finance Mgr was too busy and he would bring the papers back. 30 mins later the service receptionist told me I had to drive back the 20 miles to the the sales site to sign the papers as the sales Mgr was in meetings and too busy to bring my papers out. At this point I called Mark who was abrupt and argumentative. I explained that I needed to head home asap (especially since I had my 9yr old with me) and driving the extra 20miles in the wrong direction was a huge inconvenience. I was promptly told "Well Don't buy the trailer then..." Despite such comments the trailer was priced well and I has come too far to return empty handed. (I was sorely tempted to tell him to shove his trailer though) Then I was told the brake controller was being a problem and the staff did not have experience in fitting it to my VW Tourareg, despite me passing my vehicle details and VIN a week earlier. I heard nothing from the sales team or management and by 5pm was told that I needed to stay over night again. I ended up sleeping in my new trailer with no water or toilet facilities in a howling rain storm. The trailer was marvelous especially after a trip to Wallmart for bedding and take out. Next morning still no word from the sales team... Thankfully by 1pm the service staff had completed the work after much scratching of their heads. Mark the Finance Mgr surprisingly was still too busy to bring my sales documents so had another gentleman deliver them to me. After 2 days of hassle, rude staff, disappearing staff and camping in a noisy parking lott I was on my way...Only to be told that during the hassles of signing and my tiredness they had forgotten to take my payment cheque...hahahah Being an honest chap I didn't jump the boarder, I made a detour and paid the cheque into a bank for them. It was funny though...When I needed there help I got nothing...No support ZIP...Now they needed me!!! WOW I had all of the staff contacting me even my long lost sales friend...:) In a nut shell you would be crazy to buy any products from this company. Pay a little more and avoid the sharks....TOTAL NIGHTMARE...GO ELSE WHERE...U have been warned More
We visited the dealership about a 1.5 weeks ago. We signed a contract and planned to pick up our RV 2 weeks later (that's how long it took them to have it ready). We received a message a couple of days signed a contract and planned to pick up our RV 2 weeks later (that's how long it took them to have it ready). We received a message a couple of days later that we needed to come in and resign for a higher interest rate. My husband called and left a message, the next day, for Jennifer to find out when she wanted us to meet her to resign. No call back. We waited 4 days. We then called again this last weekend. We were told that Jennifer was at an off-site sale and that someone else would call us back to get it taken care of. Still no call back. We waited 3 more days then called this morning to tell them that we are not wanting to do business with them due to awful customer service and we are still not under contract, since we have been unable to resign. They called back (this time) and offered us several rebates or discounts. We explained over and over that we have no desire to have a business relationship with a company that has such awful customer service. Philip (owner) and Mike (manager) both told us that they will be holding us to the contract and will drop the trailer off at our home (or they will charge us storage if it's in their yard) and we're stuck with it. They keep accusing us of having 'buyers remorse' and that's why we want out. They can't believe that customers would really expect to be treated with respect! We intend to buy an RV no matter what. We have been looking forever and had a nice one picked out, but we can find the same one somewhere where they appreciate our business. Now I'm concerned that they are going to force delivery on us and we will have no recourse. Awful people to deal with and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone-ever. We still have no idea what is going to happen with this 'deal', but I'm hoping that we have some rights as consumers. We'll see what happens. More
This is for the dealership in Bonney Lake WA. First the customer service not up to standard, they get what they want and to forget about you. I bought a toy hauler that didn’t have any books with it, I ca customer service not up to standard, they get what they want and to forget about you. I bought a toy hauler that didn’t have any books with it, I called dealership talked to MR. Folk on many occasions about it, got no response, they then paid my trade in off late and wanted me to make up the difference, after me telling them no nag luck with that take me to court, and that I never got on books about the trailer that they sent me the books. The price of the trailer was ok, there is allot better out there so I would do my homework, I have found some things out wish I did better research so my fault, DO NOT take their word for everything, if even if it sounds like it makes sense ( that what I did) I do however love my trailer so I don’t take anything away from the manufacture, Forest River in my option makes good trailers.
