They did not have one on the lot in Fife so he made a call to the Bonny lake site and they had one there, so he personally went with us to see it. It was just what we were looking for, so we bought it. Everyone at the Bonny Lake site was very nice and took care of everything. So glad we made our purchase. Will definitely recommend them to our fellow RV friends! They exceeded in great customer service, compared to the other Dealers we visited today. More
Consignment beware. typical xxxxxxx salesmen Jeff Gardner (Sales Manager) contacted me this past fall and said he was interested in consigning my diesel motor home. I did not want to consign it Jeff Gardner (Sales Manager) contacted me this past fall and said he was interested in consigning my diesel motor home. I did not want to consign it however after a few weeks of me trying to sell it i decided I would give Sunset RV a chance. Jeff was very convincing on the phone that they took a lot of pride in their consignments and they would treat it like it was their own. He also told me that if it did not sell after 90 days they would offer to buy it from me or i could extend the contract. . After 120 days I had not heard one thing from Sunset rv. I had 2 different people inquire about my rv and both times the salesmen on the phone tried to sell them a different motor home. After this I decided to go and pick my motor home up and I found it a wreck. It had not been washed all winter, the stove cover was broken, batteries dead, and the chair armrests now have holes in the leather. When I brought it up to the owner of Sunset he told me he would look into it and give me a call. Surprise, he never called. I called back a few days later and was told that they are not responsible for any damage while it is on there lot. These people are real xxxx More

We've had nothing but problems with this brand new expensive rig. It was at the RV service center in Buckley (used to be owned by White River RV, now Sunset RV owns it) for three months from Jan 11 to just last Sat April 18, 2014 due to their screw ups in ordering parts. They took the top cap off our trailer and let the rain come in get the cupboards and bed pillows wet and moldy, our electric jack isn't working, our hot water heater isn't working, our brand new batteries that they charged us to install are dead and there's so many awful things I can say about this place. Run run run do not do business with Sunset RV/Sunset RV repair. They will lie lie lie and they could care less, once they have your money you mean nothing. More

We ordered a brand new THOR ACE 30.1 four months ago. With numerous calls (on a call log) and no return phone calls, numbers personal visits to the dealership, as to when we could expect delivery there a With numerous calls (on a call log) and no return phone calls, numbers personal visits to the dealership, as to when we could expect delivery there are still NO ANSWERS....from anybody. It seems the RV we were coerced to put a down payment on has magically disappeared for them. The customer service absolutely sucks here. No responsibility taken by anyone. Sleazy salesmen. More
Bought a used (2002) Itasca Motorhome from the Bonney Lake store of Sunset RV. During the negotiations, they agreed to replace the decals on the passenger side, front and rear of the coach. Finance Man Lake store of Sunset RV. During the negotiations, they agreed to replace the decals on the passenger side, front and rear of the coach. Finance Manager Jennifer signed off on the due bill. Took the rig to White River RV, (now apparently owned by Sunset RV) who replaced the bottom portion of the decals on the passenger side only. Took it back twice for completion. Service dept said that Sales would not authorize the completion of the decals. Buzz (Service Manager at Bonney Lake) told us he would not have authorized the repair as it would have cost "a couple thousand dollars". Went back to service who agreed to have their decal guy repair the decals, he simply took an exacto knife and "trimmed" the loose edges of the remaining decals. Can not get them to return our calls. Filed a claim with the Attorney Generals Office. ENOUGH ALREADY. More
Sunset RV met or exceeded all our expectations and we did not detect any overtly underhanded tactics. The sales staff and maintenance crew were all very polite and accommodating. Reviews are tricky because p not detect any overtly underhanded tactics. The sales staff and maintenance crew were all very polite and accommodating. Reviews are tricky because people are more apt to post a review when they are upset and wish to vent. However, making what is, for most of us, the second most expensive purchase in our lives is scary and complex, so I have written a fairly comprehensive, balanced summary of our experience, so read on… I am, unapologetically, very cynical about used car/truck/RV dealers and for good reason; my brother was a salesman and, hey, they are mainly looking out for themselves, right? My wife and I had been looking for a long time for the RV that was right for us, but we were in no hurry. A salesperson, Larry, at the Fife store directed us to a just reduced consignment for a Monaco Monarch motorhome at the Bonney Lake store and we went out to see it a couple of days later and decided it fit most of our requirements. We worked with both Larry and Jim there where the manager gave us a strong trade-in offer on our older Winnebago. Of course, this then affected what we could do about beating down the price on the purchase. We bargained hard back and forth. We finally walked that day, but in the end, after an overnight to sleep on it, accepted their package and I believe we got a decent deal. It is not always a good idea to beat down the price to bare minimum as you want a little leeway for the dealer to be able to take care of unknown issues which are bound to show up. We were pleased with the fast and easy financing and promises to get the Monaco we bought road ready. Now, promises are one thing, delivering on them is another. There was a small glitch when they asked us to postpone the delivery for a couple of days. This was actually good news as they found they needed a part for the ice maker and another switch that needed to be replaced and had to wait for the parts. That indicated that they were probably doing a thorough testing and inspection procedure and we were glad to wait so they could get it right. They installed two new front tires as agreed since all six were nearing their pull date codes and Les Schwab did a safety inspection and lubrication service. I am a firm believer in Les Schwab quality and service. They took all the time we needed to walk through every system in the unit and we felt we had done all that was necessary before we took it off the lot. Then on the way home we had a problem with the wipers. They were not positively attached to the wiper arm and fell apart in the rain on the way home. We also discovered that the automatic leveling system needs recalibration when we tried to deploy it when we arrived home. Sunset’s Buckley maintenance shop has been very helpful and is taking a lot of time to help us with the leveling problem and had also checked out an apparent rear camera/monitor issue. Always research the dealer, the pricing and the quality of the unit before buying a used motor home, or a new one for that matter. There are guides available on line and it is a good idea to have an unbiased, trusted friend or relative help. But, if you deal with an honest dealer, they should welcome a savvy customer. More

We recently were at your off site sale in south hill. My family and I walked around for 45 minutes had 3 different sales people look at us but none o them approached or offered anything. (I should have take family and I walked around for 45 minutes had 3 different sales people look at us but none o them approached or offered anything. (I should have taken that as a hint). I left and then found a trailer on Craigslist and called on it. The trailer happened to be sunset Rv listing. I then told the salesman (VIC) what had happened a couple days before and he apologized and promised he would make it up if I gave them a chance to earn my buisness. So I said ok let's see. Vic set me up with another salesman (clay) to go and see the trailer. We went and talked with clay and after a while set up a deal. We wrote a deposit check and made a deal. However the next couple days hasn't heard anything from anyone about financing since it was a Sunday we made the deal so they couldn't get a hold of banks. So I gave them til Thursday to hear anything and finally after a lot of back and forth with Vic he said he will have an answer. However they cashed the deposit check even though they said they wouldnt until financing was arranged. In the meantime I had the service department calling me to pick up Rv then when I said it wasn't even sold yet she was all confused. I called Vic again an was told that everything is fine they just were running behind cause their finance people quit. He said he even talked to the owner about this whole situation I was going through. So he had promised the deal would be made by Saturday so we could go out on a planned Mother's Day trip. That never happened. I guess the one thing I remember is that the salesman at Sunset RV will say anything to make the sale and preach about customer service but it is total opposite there. I WOULD NOT recommend sunset Rv to anyone at all!! More
