Sunrise Ford is proud to be a premier destination for Ford’s in the Sunshine State, happily serving thousands of customers since 1932 when a V8 Ford sold for roughly $400! Sunrise Ford is one of the longest-standing dealers in Florida and has grown immensely ever since its humble beginnings at the foot of the Citrus Overpass in downtown Fort Pierce. For almost a century, Sunrise Ford has grown to become an integral part of the Fort Pierce community and wishes to continue doing so in the future! Having started on the shoulders of 14 employees who worked out of a small building in downtown Fort Pierce — Sunrise Ford has grown into one of the largest dealerships on Florida’s Treasure Coast, with more than 80 employees!
The dealership, conveniently located on 16 acres between Fort Pierce and Port St. Lucie, includes a spacious main facility with high-tech service and body shop departments. A separate building houses our used truck department, the largest used pickup sales destination in the area. While many of our core values remain the same, one thing has not, Sunrise Ford has consistently ranked as one of the highest volume and highest customer satisfaction dealerships in Florida!
When Sunrise Ford opened its doors, Fort Pierce was a sleepy fishing and cattle town. World War II brought hundreds of Navy men to the area, who trained on Hutchinson Island to become combat divers, known as the Frogmen. Many of those veterans returned to the Treasure Coast to raise their families. Several remember that Sunrise Ford had the only tow truck in town and often rescued Navy vehicles stuck in the sandy dunes.
After the war, the area flourished with a strong economy based on agriculture, tourism, and real estate development. Sunrise Ford grew with the community and built one of the first “green” dealerships in the state with solar panels, high-impact glass, and recycled materials. Its Internet Department attracts customers from several nearby counties due to its professional Ford-certified sales representatives and its huge inventory of cars and trucks. “If you don’t see what you want on our website, chances are our staff can locate it within 24 hours.”

After getting everything done and signed Jeff made sure to go over everything in detail so our experience with the truck went smooth. I have received follow up calls from the dealership and Jeff to make sure we are happy with the truck and if there was anything he could help with that we might not understand. More

Mark was fantastic in helping me throughout the day on email with my questions about the cmax. Visited the store same day. Mark had the car I was interested in seeing. Just not the car for me. I was in the market for a new car and after a lot of online research decided the Mustang GT should fit the bill. After viewing the online inventory of several sites, I determined that Sunrise Ford had a online research decided the Mustang GT should fit the bill. After viewing the online inventory of several sites, I determined that Sunrise Ford had a very nice selection in various price ranges. I submitted the online information request and Mark Gallagher was prompt with an email response, followed up with a phone call. I then visited the dealership a couple days later to take a look at the Mustangs and met Jason Bombaci. Jason was very informative while explaining the differences between the models. I was not able to make a buying decision that day as I needed some time to make an informed decision. After a few more days or changing my mind between the models I made my purchase and am now the proud owner of a Mustang GT. Both Mark and Jason were very responsive to my questions via email and were great to work with. During the purchasing process I also had the pleasure of meeting Kevin Dolan and Rebecca Lassiter. Rebecca took the time to explain the warranty info along with describing the service facilities. Kevin also took the time to explain the various charges on the different forms in detail, which was a welcome change for me at least. Most times the dealerships I have dealt with seem more concerned with selling an extended warranty then the actual vehicle purchase. All in all, my buying experience went very well. Everyone I met was friendly and professional. I would not hesitate to purchase my next vehicle from Sunrise Ford. More

Mark searched for 2 weeks to find the Explorer I wanted and did everything to make the deal happen. Jeff was very knowledgable about the vehicle and called a few days later to see if I needed any help wit and did everything to make the deal happen. I looked at a used car twice, took it overnight and paid to have it inspected by my mechanic; brought it back the next morning at about 9:30. I told the manager the car checked out fine by my mechanic, that to have it inspected by my mechanic; brought it back the next morning at about 9:30. I told the manager the car checked out fine by my mechanic, that I had to go back to work, and would be back to speak with the salesman later that day. I left this message with both the manager and the receptionist - to have my salesman call me when he arrived at work so I could decide on a time to speak with him about buying the car. I got a call at about 1PM that same afternoon from my salesman, and was told that the car had been sold! I could not believe that I did not even receive the courtesy of a phone call or any explanation why the car would be sold without giving me notification of any kind when it was obvious I was interested in the car. The salesman acted like he had nothing to do with it, and blamed the manager. What a cowardly and rude way to do business - this only reinforces the stereotypical reputation car salespeople get for their unprofessional tactics. I would not recommend Sunrise Ford in Ft. Pierce under any circumstances. They are not trustworthy, and have no respect for a customer that was clearly ready to buy. What a joke! More
