Top Notch, Comfortable car leasing experience. First time using this dealership for a GM lease. Will consider Northwest Hills Chevy/GMC for future vehicle purchases. Started my car search on No First time using this dealership for a GM lease. Will consider Northwest Hills Chevy/GMC for future vehicle purchases. Started my car search on Northwest Hills website. Response to my email was quick and thorough while other dealers I emailed replied with generic responses that turned me off. I leased my vehicle from Northwest Hills because of the customer service on line and the follow up in the showroom. More

fair. good service and convenient Vin is a great guy . Straight foreword and smart. I've know him for a few years now, so it made sense to go see him about buying a new vehicle. I did Vin is a great guy . Straight foreword and smart. I've know him for a few years now, so it made sense to go see him about buying a new vehicle. I did a lot of price checking and looking at different vehicles at different dealers. Many other dealers jerked me around. VIn did not jerk me around he simply said " heres the price and heres your options." Although I did not get the "deal" I wanted. I did enjoy my experience , And I paid the normal market value according to NADA Guides. VIn gets 5 stars from me. If I had to play devils advocate I would say, I wish they (finance) would have told me how many times they were going to run my credit. I was alerted of 4 to 5 inquires on my credit. Overall good experience and will be bringing my vehicle to nw hills for all its service. More
I really wanted to like this place My wife and I ended up at this dealership after checking out a couple of others and really got the impression that we were at the right place. So Vin My wife and I ended up at this dealership after checking out a couple of others and really got the impression that we were at the right place. So Vin seems like a cool guy, fellow Chevy guy, says he races 'vettes, has a rock-star name and we have a few laughs in the dealership and decide we're gong to take a test drive in a certified 012 Acadia, Loved it but noticed that the computer was saying the left rear tire was low on air pressure, NBD, right? Wrong! Vin takes it over to the shop and has them top it off, we leave a deposit and decide to come back the next day and finalize everything. Next day we show up with a check and pay for the car cash, so far so good, I leave my wife at the dealership to finish off the paperwork while I pick up my daughter at school, while I'm pulling out of the lot I notice a brand new WalMart ding in the passenger door, D'oh!!! I run back into the dealership to tell Vin and he agrees that they will "take care of it". The wife drives the car about 20 miles and the tire pressure warning is going off again for the left rear tire. I take it to my own mechanic and the tire is 20 lbs low. Hmmm. So a week later we bring the car in for the tire and the ding because we had to wait for the paint. After about an hour, Ralph in the service department tells us his "tire expert" cannot find any issue with the tire. I get the car home and check the door, honestly looked like someone colored it in with a crayon, D'oh! Well in their defense it was the day before Thanksgiving so we agree we'll bring it back when things calm down. We bring at back a few days later and tell them "take your time", well prob should not have said that, they had it for four days! Gotta say though, the door looked great! However we put about another 110 mi on the car and computer is giving low pressure warning again and frikkin tire looks almost flat! D'oh! Now these are pretty simple problems here, what would happen if we need a transmission repair, God help us! We have the car for 2 weeks and my wife is afraid to drive it anywhere with the kids because of the tire problem..Now I gotta say, we were CASH PAYING CUSTOMERS! Vin, bubby, I thought we were friends? I'm not looking for any special treatment here but it would be nice if they acted like they cared at all, Jeez, nice business model, chase your cash customers away! and remember, this car was certified! Oh well, we tried. I ended up taking it to my own mechanic and he fixed the tire and we've managed to put about another 500 mi on it with no problem, knock on wood. Thing is, it really is a decent ride, just didn't feel like we meant much to them as customers. 3 stars is very generous. More
Always use a dealer! Great Experience From the initial phone call, Vin connected with my dad (which is an accomplishment within itself..haha) and brought us immediate relief after weeks of From the initial phone call, Vin connected with my dad (which is an accomplishment within itself..haha) and brought us immediate relief after weeks of searching for a newer pre-owned vehicle. He was patient, courteous, and showed us a few options to help us make the best choice. We actually changed our mind after making an initial deposit because we learned more about CVT and Vin couldn't have been more helpful and understanding. He invited us to come back to test drive other options and had a few cars pulled and ready to drive. I still wasn't sure, and then Vin drove us over to the Honda lot in Torrington (?) to shop there. He introduced us to Rob Bates who talked to us about the difference between the nissan rogue vs honda cdv. Rob was happy to sit and talk to us for a long time and really broke it down for us and gave us the info we needed to choose the CRV. In the end, both guys wanted me to have a car I was happy with and did everything to help us weigh the options. The rest of the team was incredibly helpful with the insurance and registration process and made the whole process seamless and easy for us. We've already been telling everyone what a great experience we had and we're happy to recommend Vin and Northwest Hills to anyone searching for a new or used car. More

He paid attention to our conversation and honed it into finding the exact truck to fit our needs! Never once did he try to push another vehicle that would not work for us. His attention to the details and his demeanor was very welcoming from other dealer experiences we have had in the past. Everyone we had dealt with at NorthWest Hills was welcoming and friendly I wish I could remember all of the names! It was well worth the trip from the Springfield Mass area and I will make it again when ready for the next vehicle. More

Jessica reached out me within 24 hours to schedule to come in. When I arrived I was greeted multiple times, all the staff were very friendly. Jessica came out and told me I would be working with Vin and introduced us. Vin was very friendly and accommodating. The dealer did not have the vehicle I was looking for but one similar, we went for a test drive, came back in and told him exactly what I wanted. They located a vehicle, we negotiated and the deal was done. This all happened on a Monday and I was able to pick it up on Wednesday. The day of pick up couldn't have went any smoother. All the paperwork was ready for me, the vehicle was detailed and clean as could be. First time seeing it and it was perfect. After signing all the paperwork Vin took me around the dealership to meet the auto body shop, service, etc. All which were very friendly! Then Vin took me outside to show me all the new features and to make sure I was comfortable with everything. Told me if I needed anything or had any questions to reach out to him. If he didn't hear from me he would be contacting me in a couple days just to see how everything was going. I would highly recommend Vin and the North West Hills Dealership, smoothest process I've ever had working with a dealer and delighted that everyone there was so nice and friendly. Glad I gave them a chance. More

Overall experience was good Sales rep was great, but the process was not. The back and forth of the sales rep to the sales manager to discuss the pricing was annoying and what could have been a 10 minute conversation turned out to be me sitting at the sales rep desk for 2+hrs. Ultimately when the sales manager came over (2 hrs later), he was not completely clear and upfront about the price, how my trade was working, etc. I asked for the actual price of the car multiple times, but all I kept getting was down payment and monthly pmt. The closing of the purchase however was great. The sales rep knew I had to be in and out quickly, and he made sure to line everything up so we could accomplish that. He was knowledgeable about the car and made everything smooth. More
