He was a good listener and answered all of the inquiries I had in the purchase of my used 2006 Toytota Sienna. It had been over 20 years since I purchased my last used vehicle and much has changed technologically since then. For older customers such as me, it would have been helpful if Suburban Toyota of Farmington Hills would have explained some of the newer features which came with my 18 year old used vehicle as many of these features were new to me and I had to search the internet to find out about some of them. I imagine if I had contacted the dealership they would have taken the time to explain some these features, but it would have been more helpful if someone would have sat in the vehicle with me at the time of closing and explained the operation of all the levers and knobs. The owners manual was helpful in learning how to operate my new used vehicle, but I am guessing that older customers like me find it frustrating to read (where are my glasses) these somewhat lengthy owners manuals to figure out how things work. Another helpful tool that the dealer could have provided me with would have been a listing of all the reference websites that Toyota owners have identified in forums over the years which are very helpful in answering some of my vehicle specific questions. I also believe that all Toyota dealers should take close up photographs of the driver's side identification door plates and post these photographs on their vehicle sales website(s). There is much important information on these door plates just in case the prospective customer wants to know the specific Color Code (C), Trim (TR), Axle (A), and Transmission (TM) of the vehicle before them make their final purchase. I believe it would also be helpful for older customers such as myself to only be contacted by one sales associate throughout the entire purchasing process. With all of the scammers operating in the world today sometimes older people get confused if too many emails or telephone calls are sent to them from the same dealership. And lastly, please get rid of your bots. Humans are much more helpful and interesting to talk to and even though they get paid very little. Thank you. More
