Joey didn't give me the Honda certified warranty booklet, which contains a page to be filled out by the salesperson and manager, when I bought the car. The booklet lays out what is and is not covered under the certified-vehicle warranty. I asked him for the car's 150-item certification worksheet. He didn't give it to me. Every dealership is required to provide the worksheet on request. I requested the certified warranty booklet and worksheet for my car. All I got was a "sure, I can do that" text. I sent the request to the dealership's online coordinator. She passed it along to Joey. He still didn't send the documents. Now I wonder whether I paid too much or whether the car is in fact certified. How hard is it for Joey to keep his word? In general, I was treated as though my business didn't matter. In addition, the first time I had the car washed, a great deal of road rash showed up on the hood. Two days before I bought the car, I took it to a nearby parking lot and went over it thoroughly. I didn't find many notable marks on the paint. The day I bought it, I saw more scratches on the body and chips on the hood. I had it washed, and afterward saw still more scratches and the highly disappointing road rash. Did the dealership use something to cover the scratches and road rash? If they did, why not just fix them instead? In hindsight, I wish I'd gone to the last two dealerships on my list before Suburban Honda. More

We have worked with both Tim Tharp and Joey Demilio on the purchase of a 2013 Honda Odyssey for a family member living in Arizona. After researching at several Honda dealerships in Arizona without positive results, I offered (I live in Ann Arbor) to research dealerships in Michigan. We visited four Honda dealerships in the area and Suburban Honda stood out above the rest due to their promptness in returning phone calls, accuracy in answering questions related to the vehicle, price, and overall friendliness. However, the true test of a dealer is not how things go prior to purchasing a vehicle, but how they support you after the purchase. We had one minor misunderstanding (post-purchase) relating to some accessories and called them to discuss. Not only were both Tim & Joey prompt in their response but they also offered to “make it right” by quickly ordering and installing the parts prior to the vehicle’s return to Arizona. Based on our experience I would recommend Suburban Honda, and will be back to purchase other vehicles even though Suburban is located over 2000 miles from where the vehicle will be used. Over the next several weeks our new 2013 Honda Odyssey will now be happily making its 2000 mile journey back “home” in Sedona, Arizona. More

While she has been forthright in explaining that she cannot provide a diagnosis over the phone, after numerous calls over the years, I gotta say that Julie has never been wrong. I go to Will when Julie is not there. He does not have the same experience that Julie has, but he never hesitates to get back with me with the information that I need. I routinely check Julie's and the attending mechanic's advice, by going to other service centers (usually to look for a better price) and I can confirm that Julie and Suburban Honda have always been straight with me. I have been feeling pressure to buy American, but I have been hesitant because this dealership treats me so well. From free rides to work during service, to doughnuts and coffee, to free WiFi, I am always made to feel comfortable. More
