We needed a vehicle for day to day city driving, and being able to have kids in the back for transportation. The vehicle purchased at the time of sale apparently had issues with the control arm and needed to be fixed. The salesman notified us about issues and how they will take care of them. At first the salesman was happy and very helpful, because they were getting a sale. Once we signed the agreement for the loan, it all went down. The gas fill up wasn’t done like promised, and my fiancé had to take the day off work. They made her wait for about 2 hours for a simple gas fill up, and they didn’t even do it till I arrived. They were too busy assisting other customers that day verses keeping their promise. Second The vehicle needed some additional repair before taking it off the lot. After the “Inspection” the rear control arm needed to be fixed. They even told us it’s okay to drive the car till we call you. It took a while to have someone call, it was mostly us calling them. We picked up the car and have had it for 4 months and it all seemed fine. We are thinking that it’s a reputable dealership and we can trust Suburban Ford. The vehicle does not get driven much due to mostly being all city driving. Now the worst part of the complaint, and please pay attention if you care about your family members driving a safe car purchased from them. My fiancé was driving the Flex and the back control arm busted and almost got rear ended on the road. After getting it towed and taken to a local repair shop after business hours, they were able to find a used part due to dealership being closed. They repaired it so it was just drivable till we talked to Suburban Ford Lot Manager. We went in to the dealership on a Saturday to speak to a manager with a complaint thinking they would assist or correct the issue. As soon as we mentioned the salesmen’s name at the used car lot at Suburban located on highland road, the person rolled his eyes and said no worries just write what happened here and we will contact you. It seemed odd but now it makes total sense. First of all it was obvious we were not the only one complaining. Second he was about to make a sale and was scared the clients would walk away after hearing our horror story. At least keep their promise of selling a vehicle that is safe, not a death trap. The Lot manager Don Marotta contacted my fiancé and educated her that parts were fixed, and they will do nothing else because of the miles. The car was purchased with 102k but part was never replaced or fixed. The repair shop even wrote on the receipt that all parts were original and if anything it was probably Band-Aid to be drivable. I contacted Don back and was told the same thing. You can bring the vehicle in so we can look at it. We brought the receipt in and showed the repairs on the part they “FIXED” . To sum it up and please listen if you are thinking about your safety of your family and being able to trust a dealer! If you are thinking about buying any vehicles from Suburban Dealership especially from M59, DON’T DO IT!! If you want to know that your family is safe and worry free pick a different place. If you want to risk it and just see what happens feel free to shop at Suburban Ford. Its only family and your pride and joy, money comes money goes. Family and safety is not their number one priority obviously and making sure customers are happy and safe, and if not issue being fixed. We even gave them a chance to correct it, and they obviously do not care about anything besides your money. We are glad she wasn’t rear ended or hit with any children in the car, but not with the disrespect and way it was handled. We are not struggled for money and it’s not even about that. It’s about safety and peace of mind for your family. More

First time buyer/used car. I was scammed big time by Matt in used cars. I was given a car to test drive and told it would be my car when ready. When it was time to pick up my ca I was scammed big time by Matt in used cars. I was given a car to test drive and told it would be my car when ready. When it was time to pick up my car I was kept waiting while he cleaned up another car to scam me with and I ended up with a very used car for a lot of money. He had stuffed the sold as is sign in the glove compartment for future finding. The car I had been told was mine was nowhere in sight. This one had scrapes on front right fender and an engine knock. I may seek an attorney for further action. If it becomes a case of buyer beware I suggest you do not use Matt in used cars he is a professional scam artist. More

That's a crock. They don't ensure anything unless you pay for the expensive extended warranty. I was told by Don Marotta "if it starts, moves, and stops we put it on the lot". He also said that I should expect there to be issues with a high mileage vehicle (we got a Ford Explorer with 122,900 miles). Just 10 days after our purchase I took the Explorer we bought to a shop I trust for a safety inspection and found it had a leaking radiator and bad front differential. So the car they sold me did not "save me money and perform admirably". It cost me $1,300 to get into safe condition to drive. Don says I bought as is. True, but I expected better buying from one of the biggest and "best" dealer networks in the state, but I was sorely mistaken. I won't be going back. They don't inspect their used cars before selling them, so you can expect to have problems almost immediately. They don't stand behind the cars they put on their lot. Please share this with your friends and relatives so they don't go through the same scam I did. More
