If you are set on buying a Ford, DO NOT buy from Suburban!! If you enjoy the excitement of buying a new car, avoid this dealership! Recently purchased a new F150 and have had nothing but problems with Suburban If you enjoy the excitement of buying a new car, avoid this dealership! Recently purchased a new F150 and have had nothing but problems with Suburban from day one. A scratch was located on one of the doors before I had even driven the vehicle or signed the paperwork. I was told it was a simple fix and asked to bring it back the following week for repair. The bodyshop attempted, unsuccessfully, to fix but ultimately said it was too deep and would require paint. I was asked to bring the vehicle back again in two weeks (since my salesman was going to be on vacation) for repair. I was offered a tank of gas for my troubles. When I dropped off the vehicle, I was told the in-house bodyshop was extremely backed up, so they would be sending my car elsewhere. When I arrived to pick it up the following day, it was extremely obvious whoever they sent this to for the work did not know what they were doing. There was a circle of re-worked area measuring approximately 12" in diameter that was a different color!! My salesman said he couldn't see any difference at first. I insisted a manager come outside. He did, and could see the problem immediately. I was told it may need time to dry and I should wait it out. If the discoloration didn't resolve itself in a couple days, I was to let them know. It didn't. I was then told to bring the vehicle back...for the third time....so their bodyshop could fix the problem (hopefully). Unfortunately, this meant totally re-painting both drivers side doors....on a brand new truck with less than 400 miles on it (all of which were going to and from the dealership). At one point, I was told by my salesman I should have just left the scratch alone in the first place and that I was lucky they were able to find the exact truck I wanted!! Just picked it up and while better, it definitely does not look like it just rolled off the line. There are several areas that still have issues. I refuse to bring it back for another round of repairs. So, now I'm stuck going to a body shop I can trust and pay for the final repairs out of pocket. Once the dealership got their money, it became my problem. Ford customer care is a joke and this dealership is about the worst I have ever dealt with. This was my first.....and last....Ford purchase. As the title suggests, if you are set on buying a Ford, I suggest going through any other dealership. More
