Don't buy a used car here. We bought a 09 Town and Country and have had nothing but problems. Some covered under warranty, some were not. They won't do anything in regards to offering a loaner or paying $35 a day for a rental. Poor customer service once car is off the lot. More

Overall a good experience with caveats. I want to give a fair, but honest review. I contacted Elder Ford on several occasions. My salesperson was always pleasant to talk with, but he dropped the ball on a couple occasions and failed to contact me back. I was eventually handed off to the sales manager because a pricing issue on the Fusion Energi that I was looking at. They decided to honor the salesman's $500 pricing error. I had asked my salesperson to check to see if the car had both key fob's as they can be expensive to replace. He told me it had only one and got me a price of $195 (he said their cost) plus $45 to program it. I would think that programming should be included as as courtesy. I was willing to pay up to $100 for a replacement remote. I called 2 other local dealerships in my area and was given price of $112 and $120 retail. I realize a dealership can charge whatever they want, but I think they were just trying to make up for the pricing mistake. I could have still bought the fusion, but this did not sit well with me. Then after I told the salesperson that I was not buying it, I noticed they jacked the price up on the website by $2000 for the Fusion Energi. I personally can not recommend this dealership, but you can draw your own conclusions. I was in the car business for over 20 years and I would have never done this. Demand two remotes when you buy a used car. It came with two new, it should come with two used. My dealership always sold cars with 2 remotes. If it did not have it, we got it before it went on sale. After all, this is a 2015, not a 15 year old car. Everyone I talked to at the dealership was pleasant though, and that is why I gave them a GOOD instead of a AVERAGE rating. More
Used car salesman lied about car! Shocker My husband called and talked to a used car salesmen (named Asaid) at Elder Ford. My husband made it crystal clear what we wanted and that we were driving 5 hours EACH WAY to look at this car on the Asaid's assurance that the car looked great! We asked specifically for the truth about the car's condition because of the travel time. My husband asked for honest answers and when we got there we realized the salesman had lied about many things. He assumed that his lies and the distance we travelled (on his word) to see the car would compel us to buy it anyway. We expect a used car to have a few imperfections but this car was obviously painted poorly 3 different times and the color was not the same in certain areas. It had a botched cover up of paint to hide imperfections on the leather interior. We called the car ' Frankenstein' because it was so poorly fixed by painters with no experience and botched inside. The sales guy, Asaid, was shocked we didn't want it and assumed we would buy the crappy car because we travelled so far. I will never give this business my money nor recommend them to any one because they employed a dishonest, and underhanded, lying salesman. He gives all used car salesman a bad name and Elder Ford employs him. Enough said!! More

Scam Artists Be wary on getting anything repaired at this dealer. I came in with a simple request to fix a recalled item on my car, and then they called me and to Be wary on getting anything repaired at this dealer. I came in with a simple request to fix a recalled item on my car, and then they called me and told me they needed to replace another thing in the car to get the defected piece to work correctly (which was going to be 650 bucks which I was fine with), and then they called back saying they had more issues with the car and that one of the cylinders wasn't firing correctly and that they need to change the spark plugs (for 200+ bucks... are you kidding me to change 6 spark plugs???), and that they needed to replace the cables to the spark plugs as well by the end they were about to charge me over 1300 dollars for everything (as well as the defected item) . I should say that my car prior of going into this shop had only 1 problem, the defected item. Now all of a sudden all this extra stuff is wrong with it. So I rejected everything, because they obviously did something to my car to have all these problems just magically occur while it was in their shop. So then when I came to pick up my car they were going to charge a 98 dollar diagnostic fee (which I was ok with), and then a 90 dollar restocking fee on the part, which A. I was never informed on prior, and B. was their own fault I didn't take the part since they were the ones that declared it was the problem, when it clearly was NOT the problem. I am sorry, but I will not pay for their mistake. I will reiterate, I took this car in for 1 reason, and one reason alone, and it was returned to me in a far worse state. I cannot comment on their sales side of things, but be very wary of their maintenance team. (Andrew, and Mike (the manager over there) in particular will talk condescending to you, and won't even consider other solutions that could be just as valid as their own decision.) Get your cars fixed here at your own risk, you might take it in for an oil change, and you might need a new engine after they are done with it. More
