Sales great / Service department is incompetent Brought leased vehicle in for repair; 1st time - not fixed 2nd time - not fixed (message from owner stating they will put their best man on the job) Brought leased vehicle in for repair; 1st time - not fixed 2nd time - not fixed (message from owner stating they will put their best man on the job) 3rd time - needed a loaner, had appointment made to come in when one was to be available. Arrived for appointment no loaner was available.(obviously wasting my time was not a concern) A simple phone call to notify me that a loaner was not available would have probably kept me as a customer but after 15 years and approximately 12 new vehicles I'm done. Won’t return calls or accept liability I had my car into Romeo Ford for an oil change on 5/11. Leaving town memorial weekend (13 days later) my oil plug fell out while driving at a high rat I had my car into Romeo Ford for an oil change on 5/11. Leaving town memorial weekend (13 days later) my oil plug fell out while driving at a high rate of speed on the highway. Had the car towed home and called and called until I was able to reach someone at the dealership. The dealership sends some tow guy out who decided he needed to attempt to start my car with no oil in it. Now the car is in getting an engine replacement but they won’t accept liability for quite obviously not tightening the oil plug correctly and they won’t return my calls to give me an update. It’s been 9 days! When I asked about a rental, they referred me to Enterprise even though they have provided me with rentals before, I’m stuck in a tiny Hyndai while my Escape is sitting in Romeo possibly being worked on. I keep having to extend my rental days and no one will call me back to give me an estimated time frame. $400 in rental car charges and & $1970 in repairs so far and they can’t answer a phone or call me back. Put car in drive, sounds and feels like transmission is falling out of the car. Had it towed yesterday to the dealer(Suburban ford of Waterford) where I bought it. He called and asked if I had any transmission work done on it lately, I said yes Romeo Ford did the recall work and he said yeah they Stripped a bolt Putting the bracket frame back on. Call Romeo Ford cannot get in touch with service manager BARB, she does not return calls. My husband went up this afternoon and asked to see BARB and was asked who are you where are you from. ??? REALLY!!! I guess BARB came out and he tries to explain the issue and she was rude and he says I called a few times yesterday, suburban Ford called you yesterday and my husband called you this morning and this afternoon she proceeds to tell him she has lot of voicemail to catch up on and she will look into this matter. DO IT AGAIN BUT BETTER BARB!!!! More

Awful. This dealership was unprofessional and left us hanging after a vehicle purchase. After sending a letter due to difficulties experienced on a used vehicle they agreed to fix prior to delivery, the hanging after a vehicle purchase. After sending a letter due to difficulties experienced on a used vehicle they agreed to fix prior to delivery, the OWNER of the Dealership called and left a very unprofessional message on our answering machine. The issue was in regards to the A/C system on the vehicle - Romeo Ford didn't fix the issue, simply recharged A/C unit - instead of replacing parts as they had agreed to during the sale. After bringing the vehicle back to the dealership, they claimed to fix the issue it would cost over $700! We allowed them to perform the service and found out they used reconditioned parts, but charged us for NEW parts (we later found this out because the parts failed again). Needless to say, we didn't return. We took the vehicle to Huntington Ford in Rochester and had a much better experience. DON'T go to Romeo Ford. Scamming, dishonesty, and terrible service. I wouldn't recommend setting foot in the sales or service department. More
Took my 2002 F-150 with 180,000 miles in for service for the first time with Romeo Ford. Ms. Van Tine was very helpful and friendly. Both she and Dave, the mechanic who worked on my truck, discussed the s the first time with Romeo Ford. Ms. Van Tine was very helpful and friendly. Both she and Dave, the mechanic who worked on my truck, discussed the service issues involved with my truck and also were quite helpful in explaining my various options for what would be best for servicing my old truck, without giving me any "hard sell." I will definitely return to Romeo Ford for service and will definitely consider it as the dealership for the purchase of my next vehicle. I would highly recommend the dealership to family and friends. More
