Won’t return calls or accept liability I had my car into Romeo Ford for an oil change on 5/11. Leaving town memorial weekend (13 days later) my oil plug fell out while driving at a high rate of speed on the highway. Had the car towed home and called and called until I was able to reach someone at the dealership. The dealership sends some tow guy out who decided he needed to attempt to start my car with no oil in it. Now the car is in getting an engine replacement but they won’t accept liability for quite obviously not tightening the oil plug correctly and they won’t return my calls to give me an update. It’s been 9 days! When I asked about a rental, they referred me to Enterprise even though they have provided me with rentals before, I’m stuck in a tiny Hyndai while my Escape is sitting in Romeo possibly being worked on. I keep having to extend my rental days and no one will call me back to give me an estimated time frame. $400 in rental car charges and & $1970 in repairs so far and they can’t answer a phone or call me back. BARB SERVICE MANAGER Brought car in for transmission clutch recall. 3 weeks later(Monday)go to leave for work, Put car in reverse, fine. Put car in drive, sounds and feels like transmission is falling out of the car. Had it towed yesterday to the dealer(Suburban ford of Waterford) where I bought it. He called and asked if I had any transmission work done on it lately, I said yes Romeo Ford did the recall work and he said yeah they Stripped a bolt Putting the bracket frame back on. Call Romeo Ford cannot get in touch with service manager BARB, she does not return calls. My husband went up this afternoon and asked to see BARB and was asked who are you where are you from. ??? REALLY!!! I guess BARB came out and he tries to explain the issue and she was rude and he says I called a few times yesterday, suburban Ford called you yesterday and my husband called you this morning and this afternoon she proceeds to tell him she has lot of voicemail to catch up on and she will look into this matter. DO IT AGAIN BUT BETTER BARB!!!! More

DO NOT BUY FROM ROMEO This dealership is the most unprofessional dealership I know of. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!. I purchased my vehicle and was promised it was inspected and that t This dealership is the most unprofessional dealership I know of. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!. I purchased my vehicle and was promised it was inspected and that there were no issues. Once the vehicle arrived it was immediately leaking oil, the heat shield was literally just sitting on the exhaust, and the check engine light was on. I gave the dealer the opportunity to handle this correctly. They advised me to take it to a certified mechanich and keep them in the loop. After the dealer confirmed it needed $1500 worth of repairs. I contacted ROMEO FORD. The salesman & sales manager stated I needed to wait for the owner. After 4 days of me following up but nothing from the owner I FINALLY GOT MY CALL. The owner is Norm Brewer and is literally the most unprofessional individual I have ever met. He was rude, inconsiderate and basically said tough about your luck and literally hung up on me. The vehicle was not what I was promised and had multiple errors which fall under fraud. Unfortunately now I need to take legal action due to this issue. The benefit for me is I have text messages, emails and recorded conversations from the dealer that fall into my favor. IF YOU DO BUY FROM THIS DEALER KEEP A GOOD RECORD! Beware of this dealer their mechanic ,salesman, sales manager & owner are unprofessional and looking to make a quick dollar. Luckily for me I have the proper documentation showing there was no issue but when it arrived from the carrier the issues were obvious and I addressed them with my attorney immediately. They will not honor the repairs or stand behind their vehicles. Trust me the window sticker says pre-owned inspected but I doubt they did much more besides wash it. BEWARE OF THIS DEALER DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! OBVIOUSLY THE BELOW REVIEWS AGREE. THERE IS A REASON THEY ARE NOT PART OF THE BBB. More
