11/15/22 - I have been going to this dealership for a year now. This morning, I had some various repairs done on my car. DEE FIELDS, Express Service Advisor, could NOT have been more helpful. She was mos year now. This morning, I had some various repairs done on my car. DEE FIELDS, Express Service Advisor, could NOT have been more helpful. She was most friendly, knowledgeable, just overall excellent and is a credit to this organization....and got my work done surprisingly quickly. Kudos also to Eric, who worked on my car. Add to that, this dealership is a very friendly and enjoyable place in which to wait for your repairs to be completed. I wouldn't think of going to another dealership. We live in Lapeer and drove to Farmington Hills for the car we purchased today. He had a great personality, and he was very thorough with all of our paperwork. The show room, bathrooms and sitting were very clean and comfortable. Well, I don’t know where to start but I truly got scammed. All of a sudden nobody remembers anything or return anyones calls but do remember when there commission goes in there pocket. My 11 year old son was with me and remembers everything like it happened yesterday. If I can take back the good reviews and good things I’ve said about Cathy Fenske I would do it in a heartbeat because she played the game just as well as the rest of them. I walked in, dealt with Cathy went to her desk trying to negotiate a vehicle payment which is the wrong thing to do cause any smart car buyer knows to ask for the MSRP, get all possible discounts they can and always negotiate the price of the whole vehicle and never negotiate what payment they want to be at cause that’s how dealers get over there customers. After going back-and-forth we finally agreed to a lease purchase of 36 month lease with 10,000 miles and also agreed to a payment. I was sent over an email for credit verification that I had to fill out, took care of that in the matter of minutes. Shortly after that I called my insurance agent to send over proof of insurance for my new vehicle to my email. I received my email within minutes after giving them my information and we had it printed out quickly. I was then sent to the business manager‘s office to sign papers by the name of Brad Marshall. Everything was signed on the TV digital screen and I was told I would be receiving all my papers that have signed thru my email. I was very excited, I then took my son outside to get into our new vehicle. As we were putting the new license plate onto the vehicle, Brad Marshall came out and stated one of my signatures did not go thru so I walked back in and noticed I’m resigning the one sheet stating my lease term again. He then told me my documents will be emailed to me momentarily. The only pieces of paper that I left the dealership with was my proof of insurance and registration and that is it. First time ever walking out of a dealership with no papers in hand, like I said, they stated everything should be coming through email. I get home and still no email. Three days later I call Cathy Fenske to ask why I haven’t received any paperwork and she stated she will look into it. It’s been two weeks and still no paperwork so I download the Ally financial app because that’s who I financed my vehicle thru to get information when my first car payment is due. I noticed there was a change that I did not agree to my 36 month lease turned out to be a 39 month lease so I called Cathy and explain Why my vehicle is showing 39 months instead of 36 months and she asked me how did you get that information and I told her I downloaded the app because I have not received my paperwork so she said she would look into it and call me back. She then called me back 10 minutes later and stated that my paperwork is sitting right in front of her on her desk and it clearly shows 36 months and not 39 months. So I agreed and asked her once again can you please look into where my paperwork is and send it to me in the mail. Five weeks later still no paperwork and I have already made my first payment and it clearly shows that I have a 39 month lease instead of a 36 month lease. “My question is, why when I was at the dealership, I had no issues receiving any emails when it was time for my credit verification and when it was time to receive my proof of insurance but I couldn’t get the papers to leave with when I purchased my new vehicle”!!! Finally October 8, 2022 I received my papers in the mail. I was truly scammed and things were changed in the agreement when I had to go back in and sign the same sheet twice. So after calling numerous times, I was then pointed to the direction where I needed to speak to the GM and was told Ryan Burke is who you need to speak to. Called numerous times, left him personal messages, left messages with other sales people and still no call back or anything. I forgot to mention when I called to speak to Cathy Fenske to remind her what she stated of how she said that the papers are right here on my desk and I am looking at it and it shows you purchased a 36 month lease, all of a sudden she does not recall seeing that which I knew right away she was in on it and truly lied to my face. My goal was to lease purchase a new vehicle on my birthday and I said to myself I wanted to go lease me a new vehicle where every 2 to 3 years I can treat myself to a brand new car right around my birthday but it looks like it’s not gonna work cause I got SCAMMED an extra three months that I never agreed to. I purchased the vehicle on August 31, 2022 two days after my birthday. At this point in my life I am unhappy with the vehicle purchase. I don’t like driving it because of how I feel about the whole situation. They scammed me just to put extra money in their pocket. Please people do your research before getting a new vehicle and be very careful with sales person you deal with. I do not recommend this dealership to anyone because they will scam you the moment they have a chance. I will be filing other complaints with different departments in Michigan about suburban Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Farmington Hills and I will also be posting on numerous groups on my Facebook page that I follow and most of them are big communities in big groups and Will be letting them know not to do business at suburban Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Farmington Hills. If I could take it all back and never walked in there and purchased that vehicle because of how I feel I would do it in a heartbeat. More
