Joanne was miss leading. I had a scheduled 8am appt and when I brought my car in the night before@ 4:30pm. I asked Joanne if I could leave it there for my 8am maintenance. Sh I had a scheduled 8am appt and when I brought my car in the night before@ 4:30pm. I asked Joanne if I could leave it there for my 8am maintenance. She said yes, I will drive it in right now. She drove my car into the service waiting area and filled out the paperwork. She asked when I wanted it done by, I said I don't know ,she continued to say is noon ok? I'll just say noon ok? I said yeah ok. I asked if they would call my cell phone when it was done and she said they would. I didn't receive a call on Thursday morning so at 11am we left to go get the car thinking it shouldn't take more than three and a half hours to do general maintenance. We arrived at the service area at 11:25am and asked if my car was ready for pickup. The gentleman began looking for the paperwork. After staff conversed and located my car ,they informed me that my car hadn't been taken in yet. I asked WHY , I was told that I said I didn't need my car till 12 noon. Well I scheduled it for an 8am appt and didn't know how long it would take to have inspection, oil change and tire rotation done. I was informed that when I agreed 12 noon was okay, they will do other cars first for the people who sit and wait there. When Joanne came to waiting area to talk with us, she said I told her I didn't need it till noon. I told her we were trying to be co-operative and let them get the car done without rushing ,that's why I agreed with noon. She then started blaming me saying I should say what time I wanted them to finish. My husband said why did you take the car into the service area last evening if you weren't going to service it at 8am? You were miss leading. We said we will take our car to another Subaru in Syracuse if we need to and Joanne replied that's your choice. She also knew my husband was interested in looking into buying a new car. My husband said I won't buy a car here now. Joanne also said, you don't have to pay for the service. (but that wasn't the issue) At 12:10pm Joanne came back to the service waiting area and said your car is done , the keys and paperwork are in it. I bought my car there and had it serviced for three years .I always talked good about your facility and staff but this was definitely a bad experience. The mechanics were not the problem. customer service was the problem. MISLEADING !! I have learned I have to sit with my car to get it serviced at my appointment time. More
