Everything is great We have never owned a Subaru before, and everything from sales to service has been great since our purchase about 6-7 months ago. We were given a go We have never owned a Subaru before, and everything from sales to service has been great since our purchase about 6-7 months ago. We were given a good trade in value and did not at all feel pressured. Since the purchase we have visited the service department twice for scheduled maintenance, and neither time did it take even one hour, and that was without an appointment (granted, both times I arrived early, but that still amazes me). Everyone there treats us wonderfully. More
Very poor communication This was out worst car buying experience by far. On Monday we signed off on our new Outback. We love the vehicle and are very pleased with our cho This was out worst car buying experience by far. On Monday we signed off on our new Outback. We love the vehicle and are very pleased with our choice. We got home and did a look over and noticed a ding on the passenger side. We decided to call them the next morning to see about getting it repaired. My husband also had been told that the service contract (extended warranty) was a good deal. After discussing it, we decided that for us it was not such a good deal. My husband called on Tuesday morning and asked to have the service contract removed and about the ding in the passenger door. He was told by Scotty that the service contract would be removed on the back end of the loan. In other words, we would pay for the service contract with interest and have it reimbursed after the loan was paid. They offered to try to "smooth out" the ding. We felt like this was unacceptable and we tried to return the vehicle and were basically bullied into keeping the vehicle with the threat of turning us over to the credit agency as a repossession. Arkansas does not have a 3-day hold on the contract and it is up to the dealer to give the 3-day grace, which it turns out Subaru of Little Rock does not abide by. We are now being told the service contract will drop off after a month. We will never purchase anything from them again and will definitely be going elsewhere to purchase a Subaru at the end of our contract. More
