Subaru of Kings Automall responded

This customer came in on a Sunday to look at a car, Unfortunately the Manager who works on Sunday was on vacation and another Manager was filling in for him. He did put down a deposit on a used car in stock to pick up on Tuesday. However the Manager in charge made a mistake and didn't record the sale on the daily log of business. The next morning both his sales consultant and Manager was off and when another customer came in on the same car it was sold to them because the team in the morning didn't know he had placed a deposit on the car the previous evening. That afternoon when his sales consultant came in to work and discovered the car was sold that morning. this is when it was discovered the mistake had been made and the used car manager immediately contacted this customer and explained what happened It was our mistake and the first time anything like that had ever happened here. We did everything in our power to make it up to him. He didn't have a car so we loaned him one, for free, to drive for two weeks while we attempted to get him another. We made several attempts at other cars for him and finally he indicated he was happy with one we secured for him and said he would take that one. He then mysteriously cut off communication, dropped off our car and wouldn't return our calls. He evidently purchased something else. We did make a mistake, however we did everything we could to make him happy, however at this point he is only interested in trying to hurt us with a negative review.
