Not everything is perfect about Subaru This was my first time at this dealership. I have made an appointment for only an oil change. When my wife went to pick up the car she was told that This was my first time at this dealership. I have made an appointment for only an oil change. When my wife went to pick up the car she was told that she will have to pay for tire roation as well and they had a list of things that needed to be done under "crititical" urgency. None of those things needed replacement, according to a trusted mechanic in the family. When my wife refused to pay for the tire rotation because we have not requested it and we weren't asked for approval, the sales person became aggressive. I love the car but I am very disappointed with this dealership. More

Purchased new 2019 subaru Ascent Came into Subaru of Gwinnett for routine service on my 2017 Outback which I purchased from Subaru of Gwinnett 11/29/16. The Ascent car caught my eye and Mike Quigley in sales let me test drive the car, which I loved. Mike is very knowledgeable and no pressure sales tactics. I thought on it overnight and came in to buy it on Tuesday. I very much enjoyed the sale and know Mike will help with any questions I might have in future. The financial part went smooth with Lance Willhite and everything was explained so I didn’t have any questions. I’m so glad Herb Hoffman, manager set me up with the right people, it was such a pleasure buying this car. to finish my wonderful experience Alyssa Elery in service had a hitch installed and made sure everything was taken care of properly. she has always done a great job, I would not go to any other dealer. Always get a second opinion Always, always get a second opinion. I have always trusted my dealership because they are suppose to be the experts of your brand. But at the end of t Always, always get a second opinion. I have always trusted my dealership because they are suppose to be the experts of your brand. But at the end of the day, it’s all about making money. I get that. It’s a business that needs to make money, but when it comes to lying to customers to make money, it’s ethically wrong. I was told that I needed to get three things replaced due to engine light coming on. One, it costs way too much at the dealership to fix and my service advisor could care less that I don’t have the money. I did not appreciate the way he talked to me when I asked what kind of options I had. Two, my car was too new to have those specific problems. I went to a trusted friend who owns a shop and he quadruple checked and could not find the problems that SOG said that I had. He showed me what the problems were, actually showed me on the car, and now will get my car tuned at his place. There was nothing wrong with my belt, my alternator, or my tensioner. At all. I needed a tune up. I will NEVER go back to Subaru of Gwinnett. More
