I was all over the board when it came to what I was looking for in a new vehicle. I didn't know much about Subaru, but test drove quite a few and was run through the gamet with phony salesmen. With Matt, I was nudged in the direction and not forced. This is the type of experience which yielded to what I was looking for in an experience with a brand I wanted to carry with me in a vehicle which should last until cars become autonomous. I feel like multiple times Matt told me that he wanted me to be happy in whatever choice I made, and it always felt sincere with Matt. Overall I'm very happy with my 2017 3.6 Subaru Legacy. It's unique appeal combined with working together with a consultant like Matt who knows his stuff will have a lasting impression with me for the rest of my car buying life. Even with a busy schedule, Matthew treated me like I was his only customer that day, taking the time to locate a match for me, working out the financing in a highly courteous, patient, and respectful manner, and making sure I was satisfied with the deal we made. I appreciated how promptly and kindly he responded to any e-mails or phone calls I had concerning the vehicle's arrival, too. I returned to the dealership for the vehicle's first service recently, and Matthew seemed glad to see me and made my day by showing me that I was a person rather than a number at his dealership. The Best Place to Buy a Car in Town I was looking for a used Honda or Toyota with a budget of $6000 (including taxed and fees). Before I went to Subaru, I visited Honda and Atlanta Toyot I was looking for a used Honda or Toyota with a budget of $6000 (including taxed and fees). Before I went to Subaru, I visited Honda and Atlanta Toyota, but neither of the dealerships had a car that fit into my budget. At the Honda dealership, I was cornered by three car salesmen who were really trying to talk me into raising the budget. I was trying to be polite so I sat down and listened to them. Finally after 15 minutes of filibustering, I got up and left. Then I came to Subaru for a Civic that I found on autotrader.com. But unfortunate it just got sold in the morning (probably when I was trapped in the Honda place). But Elizabeth Puckett found me a 2008 Prius. The car looked absolutely clean and new. It was traded in a few months ago and now it's around $6500 (after taxes). It's a great price but it's still a few hundreds over my budget. So I asked Elizabeth if she could lower the price to $6000, and she said "Okay, let me go talk to our manager." She came back 10 minutes later with a new sheet of paper in her hand. And the final price of the car was $6000! Unlike the other car salesmen in the previous dealerships, Elizabeth actually listened to you, talked to you (told you about her cute puppy) and answered your questions. She did not ask me to raise my budget, or ask me to consider buying a Subaru car. She respects the customer's choice, whatever it might be. Elizabeth is just such a delightful person to work with, and at the same time, she works very professionally and efficiently. Other staff members in Subaru of Gwinnett were great people to work with too. The financial guy, for example, made the transaction smooth, fast, and clear. They also took care of the registration for my Prius, and I received my official license plate a week after I emailed them a copy of my driver license. I definitely recommend you guys to check out Subaru of Gwinnett. Even if you are not looking for a Subaru, you might find a pretty nice used car like the one I have. Good luck guys!! More
