Had a great experience buying our new Subaru Forrester. We worked with Mckenzie and he was very nice and did not pressure us into anything bigger or unnecessary. Everyone on the entire staff was keyed in as one functional unit. They did their jobs as a team. Jeff Root was exceptional salesman. His integrity was spot on with the total team. Ben a sales manager tricked me into driving almost 50 miles to look at a car they have online as their bait and hook system. Got to the dealership and they lied. They did not even have the car it was a t miles to look at a car they have online as their bait and hook system. Got to the dealership and they lied. They did not even have the car it was a trick. Horrible way to do business. So this is the crappy review they are getting for being shady characters. You don't lie and trick people into driving far away because your a con artist. More

This is the email I received from them prior to my appointment - Sabrina Lately sabrina@subaruofannarbor.net Hello William, The Customer Care Center at Subaru of Ann Arbor reaching out on behalf of your Sales Consultant, Nathan Braley, in response to your interest on the 2019 Toyota 4Runner showing as available and listed at $38,000! When we go to make the deal they changed the price on me to $40,000 and would not sell it for what they promised. Then they tell me there is someone at the Toyota dealer next door that wants the vehicle and is waiting on my decision. Basically, trying to sell it out from underneath me. I showed Nathan the email I received, and he took a photo of my email along with a photo of what it showed on car gurus as it was listed for $38,000 and went to his boss with it. His boss did not care about me having proof of what they told me. Nathan came back with another story and a print out with a price on it of $39,000 that another person was going to pay for it. So much dishonesty going on here I don’t know what story to believe. I stood up and said forget it, im not paying anything more then what you promised in your email. This is bad business, This is bad business. Nathen proceeded to offer me a different vehicle and I told them I would never buy from them. I suggest you look at a different dealer that is more hones. And to you Nathan if this is all the doing of your boss I would tell you to leave this dealership and go work for a more reputable one. More
Arrived in August, with bad news my Enclave was "TOAST" but it got me to Michigan from Oklahoma. Came in because of a Honda on the lot and the bad experience I had just had with the Honda dealer in Plymo but it got me to Michigan from Oklahoma. Came in because of a Honda on the lot and the bad experience I had just had with the Honda dealer in Plymouth, met Jon Kennedy, who listened and when I wanted to see a "newer" used Honda he didn't try to pressure for a new Subaru. After driving the CRV Honda Touring car, upon returning to the lot, he suggested since I was here maybe I might want to test drive a subaru. He had one ready and off I went. Upon my return, I indicated I really was looking for a specific dark gray and thought Honda would be it and wanted to look around maybe other Honda, toyota dealers. He called a day or so later and followed up with a new car that was coming to see if I wanted to come by. Well before I knew it with Jon's helpful attitude, I was buying a new Outback Touring XT to drive home to Oklahoma. Love my Subie and Jon was a pleasure to work with. I am returning from Oklahoma for my 6,000 mile check up in February and I feel at home at this dealership. Jon has the ability to listen and deliver to his customer even if "she" doesn't really know what she wants. I left my old broken, not so old, Buick Enclave behind and have never looked back. Subaru is the only car for me!!! More
I am extremely satisfied with my experience with Subaru of Ann Arbor. My salesman Jon F Kennedy was so helpful in finding exactly what I needed and wanted. When I unfortunately had an accident ( the other person ran a stop sign) and I totalled my nearly new (2021) car, which by the way, I had only had for 7 weeks!!! The car did its job and saved my life. I truly believe this. I knew that I wanted another Subaru and I talked to my salesman, Jon, from my previous purchase. The GAP insurance was a huge help in getting me situated in a brand new car. I told Jon what I was looking for and in less than 1 week I was driving a brand new, 2023 Subaru Forester Wilderness, a newer and upgraded version of the car I totalled. He was so helpful and he really stuck to his word of getting me set up..I am extremely satisfied and will definitely return. More
