Horrible customer service. We ordered a new vehicle, paid the amount due same-day, then after we signed, they had changed all the numbers. We signed for a monthly payment that our salesperson claimed would not change as long as we paid for the vehicle that day- given that it was for a credit score lower than what we arrived with - then our salesperson changed, prices changed, and we were told we could not get a refund because we had signed the sheet. If we signed the paper and kept up our end, how is it legal for them to change the prices on their end? We reached out to our new salesperson a few times with questions and it would take WEEKS to get a yes/no response. Overall a horrible and rushed experience, incredibly unprofessional, zero communication on their end, would never go back to this establishment. More
Shotty business ethics, poor integrity and no accountability. The Worry Free Guarantee is an absolute scam. Ilya Feldman was my salesperson. He sold me a car that clearly had evidence of multiple accountability. The Worry Free Guarantee is an absolute scam. Ilya Feldman was my salesperson. He sold me a car that clearly had evidence of multiple quick patches indicative of hiding a car problem long enough to test drive it along with some other severe issues that made the car unsafe to drive. When I figured it all out and came back within the timeframe for the Worry Free Guarantee, they refused me. I left the car at the dealership, cancelled the check and left. More
It was disjointed, didn’t feel like the salesperson had my best interest at heart; did not receive any instructions/demo of car features after purchase; did not feel it was a collaborative experience my best interest at heart; did not receive any instructions/demo of car features after purchase; did not feel it was a collaborative experience More
I requested pricing info and availability of a specific vehicle that was listed as in stock. Instead I got sales tactics with no pricing, no availability info because of “many interested buyers” and no fol vehicle that was listed as in stock. Instead I got sales tactics with no pricing, no availability info because of “many interested buyers” and no follow up to my questions after trying to get help without setting up an in person meeting…Why waste each others time if you don’t even have the car, be honest! I and my wife understood that Clayton Danner was very busy when we couldn’t contact him by phone. However, things went well with him. Upon delivery of our new Subaru Outback, Clayton as our sales agent s busy when we couldn’t contact him by phone. However, things went well with him. Upon delivery of our new Subaru Outback, Clayton as our sales agent spent time patiently teaching us with the digital operation as he is very knowledgeable with all aspects of our new Car. He also introduced us to other personnel to assist us for maintenance services and we appreciate his service so much. We will surely recommend Clayton and the Subaru Ann Arbor dealership to our friends and relatives. More
Poor Customer Service in Ann Arbor My wife and I relocated to SE Michigan in early 2023 from out of state. We are a two Subaru family. We purchased our Forester at the end of 2022 in NJ due to issue relocated to SE Michigan in early 2023 from out of state. We are a two Subaru family. We purchased our Forester at the end of 2022 in NJ due to issues with our previous vehicle (Nissan). We were looking into a service contract and it was suggested that we set one up at our new location to get the car serviced here in MI. At a recent visit to the Parts department at Subaru of Ann Arbor, I was directed to call the Finance Manager, Dana Wines, to enquire about service contracts. I immediately called Dana from the parking lot and had to leave a message describing our situation and needs. After not hearing back from Dana, I called and left another message. And then another. And then another. I also tried the Sales and Customer Support line. Over the course of two weeks, I called the dealership about eight times and left five voicemail messages. At no time was I able to talk to someone directly and none of my voice messages were replied to. So, I drove to the dealership. No one from Finance was available. Someone from sales scheduled a phone meeting with a manager who could talk to me about the contract. They were to call me at 10:00 am the following day. No call ever came. Additionally, I found out from another Subaru dealership, once your vehicle passes 6000 miles, it is no longer eligible for a service contract through Subaru. I passed the 6000-mileage mark on my way back from Subaru of Ann Arbor, when they scheduled my phone meeting. So, I find myself frustrated and without a service contract. I have never dealt with a business that is so non-responsive and has so little regard for customer care as Subaru of Ann Arbor. As a result, we will be servicing our two Subarus at Subaru of Grand Blanc. And, if we do end up purchasing another Subaru vehicle in the future, it certainly won’t be through Subaru of Ann Arbor.
