We would highly recommend him as a sales consultant to help anyone purchase a car. Micah Marz I was also helpful and facilitating the finance process. Kudos to both. More
This is the worst dealership I have ever experienced. They claim to be the best and claim they will give you the best price, service... but after multiple attempts to try to get a simple answer regardin They claim to be the best and claim they will give you the best price, service... but after multiple attempts to try to get a simple answer regarding the out the door pricing for a new Subaru, they refuse to negotiate. I guess its more about what they can upsell you on for worthless services, worthless warranties for products you just don't want or need. I believe they are practicing in false advertising to get you in the door and do not operate in good faith. My dealings were with Steve Calvert where when asked for a out the door price responded. "I apologize for any inconvenience. I don't think we're a good fit for your business" Adding additional information on how non transparent this dealership is. Follow up with their Internet sales manager: Subaru Ann Arbor posted on their web what would appear to be a "Final Price"on the web site. All the information about the car its options are listed on the same web page including the Dealer Comments : WORRY FREE GUARANTEE -LIFETIME NATIONWIDE POWERTRAIN -ONE YEAR COMPLIMENTARY MAINTENANCE -FREE 1 YEAR KEY REPLACEMENT -7-DAY EXCHANGE POLICY -COMPLIMENTARY CAR WASH (with services) -LIFETIME LOANER CARS (with service visit) -$100 REFERRAL PAYMENTS -1 YEAR TIRE BLOWOUT PROTECTION -TIRES FILLED WITH NITROGEN -EXTERIOR OF VEHICLE HAS REPEL COATING APPLIED. Including the Options packages that were factory installed so included in the MSRP price... I asked their internet sales manager " "Keryn Flanary"" to confirm what is included in the "Final Price" and she also refused to answer this direct question. They will try to soak you for another $2592.00 for this Dealer Comment items which are delivered to the dealer with these already on the vehicle. Then they will work that Accessory Fee down to some lower number - like they are giving you a good deal. Strongly suggest you find a more transparent Dealer. Why have a internet sales department if they can't answer a simple question about what is included in the "Final Price". In the end Steve Calvert is correct they are not a good fit for my business or any future business. More
My son bought an 11’ outback in March with an aftermarket moonroof. When he went to use it a month or so later it immediately broke. Subaru will accept NO responsibility and only said we bought ‘as is’. Oh moonroof. When he went to use it a month or so later it immediately broke. Subaru will accept NO responsibility and only said we bought ‘as is’. Oh ok. Sold it to us knowing it was broken and then that they wouldn’t service it because it was aftermarket. It also took me weeks to get a call back and it wasn’t even our salesman, Mack. Mack told someone else to call us and tell us they’d take no responsibility at all. Such lack of accountability. Just wow. Beware. Ask so many questions because they seem to care while selling, but after sale…. Not so much. More
Bought a '21 Outback on July 3rd. Was missing a 2nd fob. Told my salesmen that I wanted a 2nd fob (one for me, one for my wife) said it wouldn't be a problem. He would order it then m Was missing a 2nd fob. Told my salesmen that I wanted a 2nd fob (one for me, one for my wife) said it wouldn't be a problem. He would order it then mail it to me. That was 2 months, 1 week ago. I've emailed my salesmen, Michael. I've emailed the finance manager, Lawrence. I've emailed the sales manager, Chris. ALL have ignored me. I've called the dealership numerous times and left voicemails. ALL have been ignored. It even came down to me making an oil change appointment over Labor Day weekend to surprise them- mind you, I live 2.5hours away. Should have seen Michael scurry and hide when Mack (I think that was his name) told him I made an appointment and was actually in the building. I mean I spent about $35,000 dollars for a car and they can't come off a fob??? They certainly didnt have a problem "taking/stealing" some floormats for me. They were definitely someone elses as they were used. But I didnt care because none were provided with the vehicle and they will just get dirty anyways. Before the sale they were all about checking in, making sure my experience was going well. After... definitely not. I should of went to Kings Subaru of Cincinnati like I did for my previous 2 Subaru's and not wasted my time with this crap. So back to Labor Day oil change, the sales guy said he was going to order the fob and mail it to my house. That was 7 buisiness days ago. So NO I would not recommend them when buying a Subaru. Try Lansing or Toledo or some other place that's somewhat close. More

Salesperson and sales manager all preached how they want “customers for life” and they want to help us prior, during and after purchase. Day after purchase we had an engine issue. Called dealer to discuss options as their “worry free” guarantee allows for an exchange if not completely satisfied. Salesperson said manager would call us back by end of day. Never heard from them. Called multiple times and left multiple messages and no one ever called us back. Would not use this dealer again. They just want your money and don’t care about customer service. More
Bought a car from there payed cash after hunter lamay had my money I sat there with my dad til they opened til close before Hunter Lamay came back with my papers to sign. I had my father with me so he witnes my money I sat there with my dad til they opened til close before Hunter Lamay came back with my papers to sign. I had my father with me so he witnessed all the Lies Hunter Lamay told me, He told me it was the law to get nitrous in my tires as well as a clear coat. He charged me 600 dollars extra for that. They are selling cars without titles. It has been 3 weeks since I bought my car and still no title, Hunter Lamay said as we argued over the phone we have over 300 cars in the lot idk which ones have titles and which ones don't, the reason for the argument is because it rained my car windows and sunroof were closed tightly, but when I woke to leave for work my car was completely flooded on the inside. They say they throughly inspect each car I noticed water stains on the seats but didn't think much about it. Now I know why. It had the leak before they sold it to me, but hunter lamas said I can't help it if the seals went bad after you bought the car! Absurd. The sales manager wouldn't speak to me, Hunter Lamay would not return my calls even after I went in and left a polite note on his desk to call me. Everyone there avoided me, because they know they did me so very wrong. The receipt for my car has no letter head has no indication of where the car was sold just a price I payed and my name. They are the biggest crooks I've dealt with yet, they are literally selling cars with no titles and Hunter Lamay lies like a rug. This is same thing carvana got in trouble for selling cars with no titles. Hunter Lamay cannot be trusted a total slime bag. As well as the sales manager. Never purchase a car from Subaru ann arbor you will be lied to and cheated out of money. WHAT THEY ARE DOING AT THIS DEALERSHIP IS TOTALLY ILLEGAL, THEY SHOULD BE AUDITED, LIKE CARVANA WAS. More
Original buying experience was good, over 3 years ago and the dealership has new ownership since then. The car is still great and their service department is reasonable. However, the terrible customer servic the dealership has new ownership since then. The car is still great and their service department is reasonable. However, the terrible customer service today from their finance manager Ben ensured this is the last Subaru I purchase at this location. I wanted to understand the discrepancy between the lease buyout and what they were quoting - it was terrible, rude, and condescending. Even the sales rep Coref (he was polite) understood when I stood up and left. Just drive 30 mins to Canton and have a much better experience. More
BUYER PLEASE BEWARE- Especially with the false Worry Free Guarantee period! Honestly I have never left a neagative review for any business but I feel the need to warm all the hard working people who are con Guarantee period! Honestly I have never left a neagative review for any business but I feel the need to warm all the hard working people who are considering using this dealership. My daughter is 17 years old and has worked while attending HIgh School to purchase a car. When she finally saved enough we started looking at safe reliable options. We came across a Nissan Murano that was listed by Subaru of Ann Arbor. Even though was an hour drive from our home, we were reassured with the Worry Free Guarantee offered. That is advertised when you call and all over the dealership. It is supposedly a 7 day reassurance period to compete with Carvana. We had an appt to view the car and they made us wait 3 hours while their finance person was running errands. The claimed the car went through their multi point inspection and the grace period. Long story Short, we get home to surprise my daughter after the hour drive back and there is a huge pile of trans oil on my driveway when we moved it in position same day when she got back from work. You can't imagine the disappointment again from a teen that has worked so hard to get a reliable vehicle. The next morning I took the car to a local Nissan Dealership and paid for a full inspection and they said "Ma'am it has a bad transfer case and there is no way the dealership would miss this if inspected." I immediately sent the report to the dealership again day 2 of the 7 day guarantee and was tossed around to several people. They did not take the car back as I asked and they would not let me take it locally to get repaired and reimbursed. They insisted on making the repair themselves and honestly I just wanted my daughter to have a functioning safe vehicle. After the car being in their service repair facility for 2 weeks, I was told they have fixed all issues and to come pick up the car. Well, they never replaced the transfer case, basically put a "Band-Aid" on the issue and of course the leak returned. I called the dealership and they said the people I dealt with were no longer there and to bring it back. If it was the original issue, Lori there said it will be taken care of. Well I drove again an hour there with the car and after sitting in the lobby for an hour was told it was now a trans leak and it was going to cost me $2700 to repair, so I called the Nissan Dealership on the spot and after they talked confirming there was not trans leak that they can send their inspection report., Lori went back to the technicians and within 15 minutes said it wasn't a trans leak as originally diagnosed, it was the TRANS CASE. OMG, can you imagine?? She then gave me a quote of approximately $2400 to repair the "Original diagnosis" during the guarantee period. I asked to speak with a manager and she said there is NO MANAGER AND TO LEAVE IF I DIDNT WANT THE REPAIR DONE. I asked for a work order stating it was the trans case and they were not going to repair and she refused to give me anything. The Service Manager Dave then approached me, said he confirmed it was the trans case with his tech and would call me after talking with upper management. Honestly it was so heartbreaking that he reassured me that he would do everything in his power to resolve, that the car should be fine to drive back as the leak is slower and did not even return any of my follow up calls or voicemails. My daughter took the car to the Nissan dealership and paid thousands to repair. I am only writing this as a concerned parent with a hardworking teen who really didn't get to enjoy her 1st car that she worked so hard so these dealerships refuse to operate with integrity. That is the very reason we were willing to drive thinking it was a larger dealership, they have the WORRY FREE GUARANTEE and they inspect all their cars before they go on the used car lot. More
