DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! ! This has been the worst car buying experience imaginable. I drove 2 1/2 hours to buy a car from them they wouldn’t let me put any money down to rese ! This has been the worst car buying experience imaginable. I drove 2 1/2 hours to buy a car from them they wouldn’t let me put any money down to reserve the car. On the drive over I got confirmation that I was coming to see that exact car once I got there they informed me that someone in the detail shop had crashed into it a couple days prior. They offered to drop the price and drive it out to me when fixed they did that. Upon delivery of the car it needed new front brakes parts that had been fixed had not been reassembled and while dealing with this mess the dealership would not return my calls. 2 weeks later they call me saying they didn’t take their copy of the odometer agreement which they need for the new plate. How it took them this long to realize that I don’t know incompetence is my only guess. This dealership boast about their customer service the only reason that they feel comfortable doing that is they screw up everything and then have to scramble and try and make up for it. I want to make this as clear as possible DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE!!!! More

I can't imagine a better car-buying experience than the one we had at Subaru of Ann Arbor. My first stress-free car purchase and I got everything I wanted, the car even arrived months earlier than initiall one we had at Subaru of Ann Arbor. WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! !!!! I have purchased over a hundred cars in my life. I purchased a used vehicle from them 6 days ago (according to their 7 day “exchange” policy. On !!!! I have purchased over a hundred cars in my life. I purchased a used vehicle from them 6 days ago (according to their 7 day “exchange” policy. On day 2 of my purchase the vehicle started getting a warning light that said “low oil pressure turn vehicle off”. After this initially happening once, it started happening more every day. I had my mechanic look at it they found the was loosing oil pressure after warming up, and that it need a repair that would cost between $4000-$5000. So my thought was this was “ok” as they have a 7 day “exchange” policy. Their 7 “exchange” policy is not even a realistic policy, as you need to have the actually title for the vehicle which the dealer controls by the time that they take to submit your title to the State of Michigan. This “exchange” policy is that they will evaluate your car and take it as a “trade-in”, meaning that they would be giving me trade in value, considerably less than what I paid for the vehicle just a few days ago. Their policy should be called “get F***ed” and let us make more money on this pile of s**t that we just sold you. My mechanic looked into the carfax and found that it looks like this has been a problem with the vehicle over the past 6 months and that the “service” that Subaru of Ann Arbor did to the vehicle before purchase may have masked the problem. Sarah my sales person was very friendly, but the managers and policies that this company has should be reviewed to not screw, trick, or bamboozle customers in the future. I will be contacting my lawyer. More
Patrick was very helpful and was even able to set up a trailer hitch install where he personally picked up and delivered the car for the installation after I had bought it. I needed to find a vehicle that meets my criteria relatively quickly. - not an easy task these days, with most dealers having very low inventory, if they have anything at all. I've been shopping m relatively quickly. - not an easy task these days, with most dealers having very low inventory, if they have anything at all. I've been shopping multiple brands and stores. I expected it to be a bit more difficult, but in many instances, it was unsettling and disappointing (more later.) I had already decided what i was going to buy (competing brand), but wanted to check out Subaru at a friends recommendation before pulling the trigger. I'm glad that I did. I arrived late in the day, as I had to reschedule my appointment the final 30 minutes of their day due to a late conflict. When I arrived, the doors were all open and the lights were out: they were operating with limited power for the second day due to recent storms. Even with no power or AC, and limited new car inventory, things appeared to be running smoothly, it was clean & organized and the employees themselves were professional looking.... - unlike many of the dealers I'd visited recently. (unorganized and messy showrooms, mixed/unprofessional attire, - even one showroom where the person i was talking to was drinking (hiding) a beer at their desk mid-afternoon. ) Even though we were running late into the evening, at no time did I feel rushed to wrap up so the staff could go home. (again, unlike other recent experiences.) My salesman, Clayton Danner, was also a joy to work with. He was knowledgable about his product and his competitors product. - refreshing after several experiences over the last week where the salespeople that i worked with had minimal knowledge of even their own product. I was one of several customers that ended up closing the deal on a new Subaru late in the evening, a couple of hours after closing time, under the lights of cell phone flashlights. After the better part of a week of disappointing shopping experiences, it was refreshing to visit a dealer where the employees really took pride in their work. More
