Tracy at Mastro Subaru definitely went out of her way to Tracy at Mastro Subaru definitely went out of her way to make the purchasing experience as good as possible. When the dealership was recommended to Tracy at Mastro Subaru definitely went out of her way to make the purchasing experience as good as possible. When the dealership was recommended to me I was a little skeptical because it was a four hour drive to get the car and once travelling there, most dealerships would take advantage that after four hours of driving, you would be over a barrel and you would have to take whatever they gave you. Not Mastro! After driving four hours, I arrived at the dealership tired, but ready to see what they had for me. I must say that with all my car buying history, I was pleasantly surprised to get there and the numbers matched exactly as I was quoted. I would be fibbing if I said part of me wasn't expecting to have a battle on my hands to see the quoted numbers change after the boss and finance man touched the contracts. The car was ready as promised, the contracts and paperwork were completed quickly and all I had to do was sign on the dotted line. We talked over available options that might be worthwhile and finished the paperwork in a speedy fashion. I was even given a ride back to the rental car location so I could drop of my loaner car that I used to drive the four hours to their dealership. I must say that I was very excited to have such a great car buying experience and from now on, Mastro will be highly recommended to all my family and friends even if I have to drive them the four hours to the dealership myself so they can get their new car. Thanks Tracy for a wonderful experience and for making it as easy as possible. More
Bought my car on Ebay from Bill very easy to deal with and very friendly. Sent my dad in to take care of paper work and he was overwhelmed with how friendly everyone was, how clean the dealership was. He and very friendly. Sent my dad in to take care of paper work and he was overwhelmed with how friendly everyone was, how clean the dealership was. He said that this was the kind of dealership he would like to do business with. Subaru can take it as a feather in their cap that Mastro Subaru is one of theirs. The only bad thing I can say about them is that they are located so far away from me here in Michigan. More

We visited this dealership on a Saturday morning to look at Foresters after speaking with Richard the previous afternoon. We arrived earlier than planned, and were immediately seen by a sales rep - shown th at Foresters after speaking with Richard the previous afternoon. We arrived earlier than planned, and were immediately seen by a sales rep - shown the car, taken for a test drive - all with no pressure, and at all times were treated with great courtesy and respect. The sales negotiations were again very professional, low key and with no pressures. The price offered for our trade was certainly acceptable, and thereafter the sales staff made the follow on administration easy. When I returned at the agreed to time to swap cars, all was ready. A final signature on the cheque, followed by a quick swap of keys, walk around, shaking of hands and I was off in less than 30 minutes (including a cup of excellent coffee). If you're looking for experienced, not pushy and knowledgeable sales staff, and finance people that know how to work the numbers to give you a decent break - look no further. No pressure, no hurry and no worry. So far so good - an excellent and knowledgeable sales team all round Bill Pond Major More

Altough we drove 45 minutes to get there, the next time we are car shopping I'll look at Mastro first - THANK YOU !! More
I have owned a Subaru outback for 10 years. This car had 220K miles on it; I was planning on a purchasing a new replacement sometime this year. As fate would have it my outback literally broke down in fron 220K miles on it; I was planning on a purchasing a new replacement sometime this year. As fate would have it my outback literally broke down in front of Maestro Subaru in Tampa Fl on January 12th. I was able to nurse car into the dealership for service and was told that the repair would be $4,000. (Broken keyway on the flywheel severely affecting the engine timing) needless to say I was walking home if I didn’t purchase a replacement. This isn’t how I wanted to buy a new vehicle but I wasn’t offered any options. I have been dealing with maestro for 10 years; I always brought my car into this dealer for any major repairs. (I was disappointed that the dealer did not offer me a ride home that day so I could think about such a purchase) I did purchase a legacy sedan but had I had a day or two to think about my options I would have purchased the Outback. I have had 11 Subaru's, dating back to 1983. All of these have been bought at Mastro. My 2007 had 90,000 miles and the transmission blew up. I then traded for a 2009 Forester. This was a different model for have been bought at Mastro. My 2007 had 90,000 miles and the transmission blew up. I then traded for a 2009 Forester. This was a different model for me for I have driven Outback's for years. Unfortunately it's transmission blew at 30,000 miles. This was upsetting to me and all the folks at Mastro. I was re-thinking my relationship and car choices. What happened after that has been great. I now have a 2010 Outback; to date the best car I have driven from Subaru. Steve Mastro was able to get some help from his corporate partners and helped on the price, because of the faulty trans in the Forester. These folks are incredible. I am on the road for my business and my family so comfort and safety are important components to my life. Mastro has satisfied both. The sales staff was great; they made every accommodation you can imagine; and brought the car to me with a full tank. They transferred all my things and re-installed my satellite radio. Thanks to them. Great car!! best ride, more leg room; and the gas mileage is incredible!! I love this car. Even my 15 year old daughter who is tired of seeing Subaru's commented it had a sleeker look....and she knows...;) They are truly a good friends to me at Mastro and a great rep for Subaru. Gentleman, I got on line and contacted the dealership. I spoke with Richard (Dick). Came in unannounced and could not speak to Dick as he was busy with another customer. This is when we (the wife and myself spoke with Richard (Dick). Came in unannounced and could not speak to Dick as he was busy with another customer. This is when we (the wife and myself) got our first introduction to Mastro's staff. All of which could not have made us more comfortable. When we spoke to Dick he then turned us over to Eric. Our intention was to test drive an Outback. Consumer Reports rated very high. One of our requirements was to have a 6 cylinder. The other was a trailer-hitch that did not look like someone just bolted it on. They (Mastro) made the commitment that this is possible and could be done. There were none available in stock at the present time.We were invited to test drive a Tribeca with the 6H. This was a very none pressured test drive. This dealer knows how to make a customer feel comfortable. Got back from the test drive and sat down to the table to negotiate the deal. This too was a Very low pressure experience. The trade number was made. The price of the vehicle was agreed on. was The commitment that the trailer hitch would be installed with a transmission cooler and a loaner car supplied. We were the new owners of a 2010 Tribeca. All around very obvious why this dealer can be a stand alone dealer in the world of mega dealers. Great Job Mastro. A small foot note of our experience with Subaru. In 1978 we were looking for property in Idaho. We got into the salesman's car and drove up the side of a mountain. No roads, no trail. Just drove up the side of the mountain in a Subaru with 250,000 miles on the odometer. Very impressed. It took us this long to make the commitment. Long story short. Mastro made it simple. Have dealt with Mastro Subaru of Tampa for 13 years and have purchased 3 vehicles over that time. Have used Mastro for all of our service requirements for these vehicles. Cannot say enough about how fant have purchased 3 vehicles over that time. Have used Mastro for all of our service requirements for these vehicles. Cannot say enough about how fantastic this dealer is for both sales and service. It is a pleasure to do business with them. Never have I had to return a vehicle for something that was not done right the first time. Plus they are definitely professional in their dealings with the customer. More
