I bought an 08 Subaru WRX STI Wagon on 26 June 2013. I thought the dealer was great and I had a good experience until July 4th when the clutch went out. I brought it in on the 8th of July. I dropped it of thought the dealer was great and I had a good experience until July 4th when the clutch went out. I brought it in on the 8th of July. I dropped it off with Billy in service around 4:30pm. I called the next day to check on the status. I learned that the clutch was indeed bad and needed to be replaced to the tune of 1700.00. Billy had spoken with the used car manager, Terry and he said he would NOT pay for the repair. We additionally had a warning light for the rear differential temperature that was flashing since day one of us having the car. Their answer to this was that the aftermarket exhaust we had installed burned/melted the wiring harness so they wouldn't cover that either. Apparently the ninety day warranty doesn't cover anything. When my son went to the dealer to pick up his Subaru, he ran into our salesman. Emmett said "oh no no no, this isn't right, I am going to make this right. I will talk to Terry, at the very least we will split the cost of the repairs". I would have been happy for that at this point. He told my son, have your mom call me and we will get this fixed. NOW the car was already there, shouldn't he have marched right into Terry's office and spoken with him then? Shouldn't he have called me immediately and said I am going to fix this? NOPE, I call him within one hour of his spiel to my son. It has now been two weeks and I still did not get a call. My saving grace is my son being a car freak and knowing people. His friend got us into Mastro Subaru and even though we didn't buy this car from them, they were disgraced at a Subaru family member being treated this way. They repaired my car for FREE under a one time good will warranty. By the way, the wiring harness wasn't burned, the wires came completely out of the harness. Ray also informed me that the car had been abused, the clutch and all its components were all destroyed. I am still amazed at the generosity of Paul and Ray! I would never go to Cannon again, nor would I recommend them to a complete stranger, an enemy, and certainly NEVER a friend or family member!!!!!!!! More
We bought a 2002 Mazda Millenia for 6,000.00 on a friday night. We paid by check and were very happy with the car, It was very clean inside and out. We drove about 40 miles that evening and filled her up wi night. We paid by check and were very happy with the car, It was very clean inside and out. We drove about 40 miles that evening and filled her up with gas. Saturday morning, a mere 12 hours after we left the lot, the air bag light came on, I googled the problem and saw if it was blinking, the airbags would not deploy in an accident, so on my way home from the store, the check engine light came on. We called the dealer and spoke to our salesman who said to bring it in on Monday after work. The only problem is, the car would not start after work. We called and they sent a mechanic, he said it was the 3rd time he had to jump start this car. So he takes it to the dealer and my wife to the car rental place. Rick or Rich the Sales Manager said they would EAT the rental costs since we had the car for less than 24 hours and it was not running, also he told us he would only charge us 50% of the parts and labor as if he did us a favor( we had a 50?50 warrantee. So they fix the car, an O2 sensor was bad, 1 of the 4 were replaced. On the way home from the dealer, the engine light again came on, we called but alas they were closed. The next day my wife called and they said they were not going to EAT more costs. Guess what that day was? The day the check cleared. So i took the car to my mechanic, he put it on his computer to find the remaining 3 O2 sensors bad, but also one of the 2 precats were bad, they are about 1800.00 each to replace. Also the cam seal was almost shot another couple hundred dollars to fix that. They wont work with us, they wouldnt take our calls, and now i have a 6000.00 lawn ornament. I really thought this was going to be a good experience, but since this episode with Cannon, and their staff,I would never recommend them to my worst enemy. This has been and continues to be a nightmare. I have a car that doesnt run right, therefore i cant sell. They were very nice til the check cleared, but not since More
