Arrived at this dealer to test drive a 2.5 even though I wanted a 3.6 just to see if I liked the feel of the car/looks etc. I had been emailing with another dealer the same day about the one 3.6 they had on the lot. At the time I didn't realize they were so hard to find. Concord is closer so I went there first before making the 45 plus minute drive to the other dealer. After driving the car I told the salesperson Joe Power that I liked it but if I purchased an Outback I would get the 3.6 and that another dealer had one. He told me he would love to make a sale but if they had one and it was what I wanted I should call them and tell them I am on the way and get there fast. He then pulled up the "local" dealers inventory and there were only 13 3.6s on a lot or in queue for delivery for the next few weeks. in surrounding states! I had no idea I was looking into a car that was hard to find. Called the other dealer and the car was gone. That sales person was supposed to call me back quickly with any 3.6 inventory I could put a deposit on. In the mean time Joe told me to go drive any other make/model I was considering. Concord had ONE 3.6 scheduled to arrive in 2 - 3 weeks but Joe did not pressure me to put a deposit on the car. He explained the low inventory again and I looked for myself at this point. I left the dealership, drove another make/model then went back and put a deposit on the car. Joe called every few days checking in with me on the status of delivery even when there was no change in status. He was pleasant to work with and I would recommend him as a salesperson. I am rating price as average as there isn't a lot of negotiating on price for a car that someone else will gladly purchase before it even hits the dealer lot. This seems to be the theme for the Outback 3.6 version I have read on Subaru forums as well. I did get a package upgrade though....so not too disappointed since this was the vehicle I wanted. More

I never even considered Subaru because I thought they only had station wagons. Then I saw the Crosstrek on the lot in Concord and decided to take a test drive. I did all the work I could online so that our dealing process was minimalized. We told Jeff and Sean what we were willing to do and they made it happen. I absolutely LOVE this SUV! I bought a new forrester at this dealership, and the sales process was about what you would expect. Friendly enough when they want your money. I took it in for the 7,500 mile service, and had to wai sales process was about what you would expect. Friendly enough when they want your money. I took it in for the 7,500 mile service, and had to wait nearly three hours. I'm pretty sure this was a basic inspection and an oil change. Quite a wait when you have an appointment. No efforts were made to let us know what was taking so long, I had to hunt down the service manager to ask. When making the appointment, I was told this would take less than an hour. Recently, at just over 10,000 miles the check engine light came on. I took my vehicle in, and finally after two hours was told it was fine, but the ECM needed updated to change some thresholds. That was Monday. Today, the light has came back on again. Obviously they didn't fix it. The service department here is totally incompetent and could care less about you or your vehicle. Do yourself a favor and don't go here. More

He picked the car up and brought it to Concord so I could test drive it at a time convenient for me. He is very knowledgeable and helpful and neither he or the sales manager applied any pressure. They were willing to negotiate some on the deal and I believe it was a fair price. Everyone else I interacted with was friendly and helpful; as pleasant an experience as car buying can be! More
