First off, Stokes Kia in Goose Creek does not want business too bad. The GM told us maybe we should just come back in a few months when we were ready to buy a car now. I was contacted by the internet sales lady and said I would come in. I told her about my trade in and she said they are in need of good trade ins and are offering $1500 over KBB. She never said anything about the rebate they currently were running for certain competitors. I came in and did the test drive, got the price that I wanted and tried to get a little more for my trade mentioning what the lady said on the phone. I was told by Tom Caminiti, sounding like a car salesman, "Ah, they will tell you anything to get you in here. If we had known that we would have offered you this much and then gave you $1500." So I left and called back to see if there was anything else we could do. I was told the GM would call. He never called, but we called the internet sales lady and told her what happened. She confirmed again that they are offering more for trade ins and she could not believe what was said. She told us the GM would call. By 5 PM the GM had not called yet, so we called and was told he had left for the night. We called the internet sales lady again and she said there were some issues going on someone will call. The GM finally called and said they were offering $1500 extra on some trades and apologized for what was said. He told us that the salesman had some issues going on in his life and so on. He said he would call back with a deal. His call back was maybe we should wait a few months. The good people at Kia Country on Savannah Highway welcomed me with open arms and worked to find a deal for me. If you are in the market for a new car, I would recommend avoiding the Goose Creek Kia until they get their issues ironed out. They do have a very catchy commercial, but I would go to Kia Country on Savannah Highway in Charleston. More
All three of the gentlemen I worked with at Stokes Kia were great. Qasem entertained my twelve-year old while we waited with Kia hamster commercials and funny tv shows. He was extremely personable. Jason Leming was quick and efficient - the most efficient credit transaction I've ever had. Perry Hardin was SUPER friendly, and went the extra mile to help me out in a specifically odd situation. All in all, a wonderful staff and a wonderful experience. I haven't dealt with the service department yet, but I'm willing to bet they will be just as awesome. More
This weekend my family and I were greeted by a friedly, courteous sales person (Michael Tucker) when we pulled up to Stokes Kia. We apprecitate his patience with all of our questions, and our 2 year old son, who was being all boy, if you know what I mean. We are greatful for having the pleasure to have Mr. Tucker guide us through our Kia buying experience, which was second to none. Stokes Kia is a well rounded, fair, easy to work with, family friendly dealership! My family and I would recommend them to anyone looking at purchasing a new car. More
My wife needed a new car. But not having any credit I was worried about getting financed. Not only were the professionals at Stokes Kia in Gooooose Creek courteous, but they went above and far beyond every o worried about getting financed. I had to buy a new car because the car I bought from this dealership was a lemon and I exceeded miles required to qualify for lemon law. The car was at the dealership's service dept more than it was in my possession this entire summer! The vehicle would lose acceleration the esc would turn off and check engine light turn on and the car would not accelerate past 35mph. This would happen at random all the time. Which is not the service depts fault..but they did attempt to fix the problem a lot this summer withh no avail. The last time it happened I brought the car in and sat down with the general manager and the service manager they said they would work with me and gave me a great deal! It was late I wasnt ready to make a decision so I went home and headed out for vacation the next day. When I came back the general manager no longer worked for the dealership I was told they would honor the deal i made with the general manager. When I went in I sat down with the sales manager and he did not work with me. He was not easy to work with and he was rude. He told me that the general manager I made the deal with no longer worked at stokes and that I would be working with him now! I was shocked at how I was being treated after all that I had been through this summer. They didn't want to work with me, I was Another sale to them. I asked them to give me my keys to my sorento and went somewhere else which was a much more pleasant experience! When I left the dealership I noticed my gas light turned on...I brought my car in with at least a half of tank of gas and they give it back to me on empty! Wow. I am amazed at how well I was treated here! More
These guys were real easy to work with, and were very professional. I did not have any issues with either Dave or Michael, both were very helpful. Fantastic place all around. I went there on 4/30 and bought a new Forte Koup SX, and then two days later my wife bought a new Forte four door. From my first meeting with Nick it was wonderful. He is a great salesperson that doesn't pressure you like most places. Everyone there up to the General Manager was spectacular. I would rate these guys as the number 1 spot to buy a new Kia. This is not your mothers Kia, they have got some of the best cars on the market. Again thank you Stokes Kia for a great experience and you will be my next stop when it's time to buy again. More

My 12 year old civic had finally seen it's better days and I was ready to buy something THAT day and if anyone deserved a sale it was Ed, he was wonderful! The reason for my review is because of the finance department. The man that came out to assist us didn't even shake our hands and basically acted like we were wasting his time, I asked him what he could do for us with price and I told him what I had calculated and he literally laughed at me and told me I could never get the car I was looking at for the price I wanted. I was very offended and finally ended up telling him that he was being very rude and I am a paying customer so he should treat me like I meant something. He went to crunch some numbers and came back with another price out of our budget so my fiancee asked what he could do for us if we were willing to trade HIS car too and get a brand new sportage; he told my fiancee he wasn't doing ANYTHING more for us with the price on my car and told my fiancee he could do whatever he wants with his car but we wouldn't be able to get my payment down any cheaper.. Needless to say I finally flat out said that I was finished with them and I wanted to go back to Hudson Nissan in North Charleston to see Mikey who had tried to help me back in Sept of 2010 when I originally first started looking and researching! Ed came out and tried to calm my nerves and I told him how rude the finance department was and even with $5,000 down they weren't willing to work with me EVEN after we were willing to buy TWO brand new cars! Ed said he would get his general manager to call me and they would personally help us the next day, I told him I was going to Nissan to look at the car I originally wanted and I was very unhappy it wasn't him it was basically every other employee that looked at us as if we couldn't afford their cars. The very Next day we went to Hudson Nissan of North Charleston and asked for Mikey, he let me look and I told him what had happened the night before; I also told him my cap off of what I wanted to spend and you know what, we drove off that lot in a brand new 2011 altima coupe with only 33 miles on it. The funny thing is, the altima was listed at almost the SAME price as the Kia Optima but their finance department and staff worked their magic and got me the deal I was looking for and got me the payment I could afford. We are actually buying an SUV from Nissan as well. In this economy EVERY SALE COUNTS. Don't judge a book by it's cover and just because someone doesn't LOOK like they can afford something doesn't mean they REALLY can't afford it. More
