Chris Preciado took care of us from start to finish. It was a great experience working with Stephen Inthirath. He is very knowledgeable in the Hyundai industry. He made sure I was thoroughly happy with my decision. I only give it 4 stars because it was about a two to two and a half hour wait and / or finish for my car. However, Eddie, a service advisor that I don't remember from previous time, was doing his best to ke and a half hour wait and / or finish for my car. However, Eddie, a service advisor that I don't remember from previous time, was doing his best to keep me updated and expedite my car through the service area! Very nice guy! I pretty much exclusively gone to the Stockton service, rather than Modesto, just because I think it's more convenient for myself. Like I said, it was a bit frustrating this time because that's a long time to wait for service and it was just a little inconvenient. Also, big shout out to Eddie because he went above and beyond his duties as a service advisor! He kept me up-to-date and went out of his way to make me feel like a valued customer! More

If I could give half a star I would. I have had the worst experience with this dealership. The customer service is horrible and most of the employees are not helpful at all and when they know your upset they experience with this dealership. The customer service is horrible and most of the employees are not helpful at all and when they know your upset they choose to not try and accommodate the customer or at least that is what I'm going thru. I had my 2016 Hyundai Accent towed to the dealership on 08/11/2020. Eddie is the adviser handling my service. When I left service after having it dropped there I was told that Eddie was going to keep me updated throughout the week on the status of my car and he would call back my next day with explanations for what was wrong. When I dropped off I brought in the diagnostic from the shop I had check it first which stated my Cadillac converter was bad and needed to be replaced. This is covered under my warranty since the car was only 4 yrs old and had 83000 miles. I have been the only owner and bought car from them brand new only had like 6 miles. I had expressed to eddie that this is my only vehicle and I would like a rental if possible he said he would check into what's wrong and if under warranty then he would put the request in and let me know what they say.....I dont hear back from Eddie until friday the 14th at 7 in the morning with a text message stating to let him know when to give me a call to update me. So I let him know when available and he tells me that it is the converter which is under warranty and then says I also will be needing a battery and two o2 sensors replaced. These however will not be covered and will run me approximately 500. So I let Eddie know I get paid on the 21st. and then I'll be able to pick up car if it will be ready. He says okay perfect we will have it ready and I'll keep your updated on any changes. Says nothing about the rental I had already asked him to check on. I dont hear from him again. So on thurs the 20th around noon I attempt contacting Eddie with service for an amount due so I can have it ready for pick up in the morning. Called numerous times left 1 voice.ail for eddie and one for xaiver.....I believe his name was. And didnt here anything back until around 330pm when he left a voicemail stating my car is not ready and that they are waiting on a part which is the converter which will hopefully be early next week he is hoping. And says he will update me then hangs up. Again not about a rental and not a date for service to be completed. But says it is under warranty so it will be covered. So I then begin calling again and the operator stopped saying hello and just would send me to service but no one would answer and I was done leaving messages. I still had no luck and at this point speaking with Eddie. So I sent him a text message to the same number he text me from to begin with. No reply. So right as service is locking up everything I tried once again to get thru. Yolanda answered and said hello! She the ran over to service real quick and was able to catch eddie for me. He then gets on his phone and I ask if he recieved my messages. He says yes I was just reading it. So I ask if he is able to get me a rental until its finished and because it was supposed to be a quick fix.....I Express to him I'm extremely unhappy and honestly have been since I bought the car in 2016. So I ask to speak with a manager or supervisor and he says he is gone for the day. I need to call back tomorrow to speak to him. He also informs me that there is 40people waiting for rentals to be approved before me so I probably wont get one anyway So now it's too the point I'm askin for corporate number. He gives it to me along with case #. I call and surprise they are already closed and now eddie has left. So I call the main line and get an operator who I explain I need to speak with a manager she asks for sales or service. I said well service is closed for today so just any manager for the dealership would be fine. She says he is busy handling some sales right now and can return my call if I want. I state no I will be coming there soon so I can speak with a manager face to face not on the phone. When I arrive and walk into sales they are not handling multiple deals only 1 deal in being process. It take them a moment to acknowledge me but when jaqueline does I state I'm here for a manager so again she begins explaining exactly what she had said the last time we spoke on phone. Right before coming. I Express how I dont care what department he manages but I need to speak with a manager I'm extremely unhappy with my treatment. I brought my service quote with me. And she asks for it to show him. I give it to her she walks away the a man walks up to me and asks about what is going on. I tell him and he just answers with well service is closed and I cant approve this so you will need to call back tomorrow. I tell him no this needs to be handled or something today. I explain the rental part and that it needs to be cover because the patt still hasn't shown up. He just sticks with his nope I'm sorry I cant do anything for you. Also adds that if the rental has not been approved yet then it wont be and there is nothing he can do. He stated he was the building manager.....while we are talking another gentleman walks up with the paper I gave Jacqueline and hads it to the guy I've been talking to who said his name was abdul....I take back my paper and express how disappointed I am in the dealership and I have never went thru treatment like this at any dealership.. I stepped outside and contacted Sacramento Hyundai to ask if they could maybe help some how and they inform me to call sac back at 730 am to speak with Jerry the service director who has worked for hyundai for 25 yrs. I agreed and then hung up and just accepted that I was not going to solve this tonight after how long it took for me to get thru on the phone. But if I had been updated the past 10 days at some point then I would of known it wasnt ready. And we could of solved the rental issue by now. So here we are I still have no car but am a single mom of 2 with a fulltime job. I have had nothing but issues with the car. From the front and back bumpers being replaced twice and not due to accidents it's due to the screws snaping and snapping the hole for the screws. Causing the bumpers to fall off. And now this. I'm also having to replace my 2nd battery since purchasing 4 yrs ago.....to me that seems like I went thru my batteries faster then normal. I went back in to the sales floor to ask for all their names and titles for my complaint I'm filing also tomorrow. There were 3 employees sitting in their office right by the entrance when I got walked back in. They didnt even acknowledge me for about 4 to 5 min. Jaqueline goes to walk right passed me so I ask if any of them are going to ask if I need anything since they all know what's going on and how upset I am. Jaqueline says with a sarcastic attitude oh did you need something? I ask for her name and the building managers name.....she says extremely fast say he was the finance advisor and named abduel? Idk she did not have the last name for me. And then Eddie In service has been working on my case. I'm really hoping someone is able to make this right for us. If they would be better at updating me throughout the 10 days then I wouldnt be this upset. And concerned. And then on top of that the customer service and employee imagine is horrible. They do not go above and beyond to essure satisfaction. I'll update with what happens with it tomorrow after I make my calls. I will never purchase or bring another car to the stockton hyundai after this tho. At this point I just want it drivable so I can go trade it in. I'm done dealing with the car. It's still new but it is a craply car. With no a/c. Hopefully someone sees this review and it save them a headache More
