poor communication, body shop is trash I went to the dealership to purchase a new truck. I knew what I wanted the salesman went and got exactly what I asked for. I agree to purchase a 2019 silverado LD in white. the sales person told me he was new. That was fine with me. we all are new at some point. I told him I wanted to add a drop in bed liner to the truck. he said ok and worked it into the pricing. when I bought the truck it was overcast. so I didn't notice when I got home the driver door had a paint chip and a separate dent. I just paid $30,000 for a dented up truck. I emailed the salesman and told him on Saturday. I bought the truck on a Friday afternoon. He replied Monday and said to just bring it to the body shop. I said ok. A week passed because I have to wait for my next day off. I drove in that Monday and talked to the body shop manager. He had no idea I was coming or what I was talking about. He then told me my sales person was new and didn't do his job correctly. He was upset and made me feel uncomfortable like it was my fault his company cant train salesmen correctly. So the week passed and I still heard nothing about my bed liner. I contacted my salesperson again to make sure he didn't mess that up also. He said everything is in order and "service will be calling you". My body repair was scheduled a week out. so that week passed and I dropped the truck off to the body shop and again I brought up the bed liner. That same day I got an email from my salesman "Service will be calling you today". They never called me. The body shop finished the paint repair and dropped it off to service for the bed liner. They had no idea it was coming and no one ever ordered the bed liner. My wife picked up the truck while I was at work. They had greasy hand prints on the door that literally got painted the day before. They got White paint on my key remote. They got over spray paint on my window. they got over spray all over the cab behind the rear door. it looks like someone had tape and painted over it then pulled that tape off. The paint is absolutely destroyed as well as my front window that doesn't clear rain water as well anymore. I will never again buy from stingray. I will never recommend them. They will never touch my truck ever again. I will have to take my truck to a real body shop and have that hack job they did repaired out of my own pocket and have my window resurfaced or chemically cleaned. I would never expect to see a dealer fail and every department I had to work with. Sales didn't communicate correctly with body or service. body did a hack job to my trucks paint. services gives me greasy truck back on a freshly painted door and all they did was install a bed liner. how greasy is a bed liner? I had a scheduled apt for repairs,check engine lite, on Monday. Stingray had my vehicle for TEN days and didn’t address the issue. I called and said I’d be picking up my vehicle that afternoon. And when Monday. Stingray had my vehicle for TEN days and didn’t address the issue. I called and said I’d be picking up my vehicle that afternoon. And when I was pulling into the lot Joe called and had a diagnosis. Ten days is far to long to have my vehicle to sit and not be diagnosed. I took my vehicle to Tampa and they fixed the issue in 24hrs. All under warranty too. More

Service I have a 2016 Camaro SS and I have had to bring it in before with Transmission issues and Stingray has always treated me great and this last time was I have a 2016 Camaro SS and I have had to bring it in before with Transmission issues and Stingray has always treated me great and this last time was no different except my advisor Dorinda Phillips when I dropped it off she was not the friendliest and she told me not expect a call from her until the car is done.I also had to use my tire warranty cause I had a nail in one, Dorinda called me to let me know that I needed all 4 tires which I talked to my husband and he said call her back and ask how much to put all new tires. So I called her back and she told me and I said sure lets do it. Well she was so rude that we decided to buy our on tires but still let Stingray put them on. I tried to call Dorinda for three days to let her know about the tires, could not get her to call me back so me and my husband came in and talked to her boss Mr. Lawson and he said to bring the tires in and they would put them on, so we did. Me and my husband brought the tires in and Lisa Rice(she was great) helps us bring in the tires and in front of her we told Dorinda not the do an alignment just put the tires on and balance and she repeated that back to us and said ok. So the next week Dorinda called me and said the car was ready and told me the total and I went to go pick up my car and she had done the alignment and I had to talk to Lisa Rice about this and she took care of it for me. I have never been talked to so badly by a person working in Costumer Service like Dorinda Phillips had talked to me. I understand that people can have a bad day or other costumers can be nasty to people working in customer service. But from day 1 I had always been nice to her and showed her respect but after the third time she was not nice I went to her boss. Every time I talked to Dorinda Phillips she had to always make sure that I new my car was under warranty so they were fixing it for free. Ok I get that it is under warranty but I bought the car and I am bringing it back to the dealer that I bought it from. Its not my fault that the transmission is having problems that is why it has a warranty and I bought the extended warranty too. I am very disappointed in my last visit with my advisor. More

Called about brake master cylinder that was installed by Stingray Chevrolet Service Department a few years ago, because it is leaking again. Was informed parts and labor were covered under warranty and sch Stingray Chevrolet Service Department a few years ago, because it is leaking again. Was informed parts and labor were covered under warranty and scheduled an appointment to bring it in. Took it to dealership and dropped it off. A few hours later I received a phone call to inform me that the person gave me wrong information and it wasn’t covered. If I had known this beforehand I wouldn’t have scheduled an appointment. It inconvenienced others and myself. Will definitely in the future make that I’m clear on information I receive and will hold the person to their word. Not angry, just frustrated and disappointed.
