Service Department damaged my vehicle On November 24, 2015 I dropped off my wife’s RX 350 at Stevinson Lexus of Lakewood to have the navigation system looked at. The car was in perfect co On November 24, 2015 I dropped off my wife’s RX 350 at Stevinson Lexus of Lakewood to have the navigation system looked at. The car was in perfect condition, not a door ding or scratch. About an hour after I dropped off the car I received a call from the Service Consultant telling me that one of their Service Technicians had a little accident and that she would send me pictures. Their Technician had managed to carelessly run into another car damaging the passenger side door, rear door, quarter panel and wheel. Over $3000 in damage. After she apologized she also asked for permission to have it repaired at their Lexus certified shop. What was I going to say? No, give me back a damaged vehicle? I am not sure why the Service Manager or General Manager did not initially call but I have spoken with both since. William Johnson (General Manager) has repeatedly told me “this was our fault and we will make things right”. I guess his way of “making this right” is to give me a letter stating that when we are ready to trade in the car he will give me “fair market value”. He also informed me that since the repairs were done “internally” there would be no CARFAX report. Maybe not illegal but very unethical. So now I am stuck with a vehicle that has been repaired, has a resale value of $ 2500 to $3000 less (according to Kelly Blue Book) and no CARFAX report. I guess Stevinson expects me to lie if I ever decide to sell or trade in the vehicle. What happened to taking care of the customer. So much for Kent Stevinson’s commercial’s implying that they take excellent care of your vehicle. Also, I have yet to receive my usual customer service survey since my last visit. Jeff Lynne More

Jerry Amaya, followed up promptly with several calls on the status of the Toyota Rav4, I was interested in. When I went to the dealership to actually test drive the Toyota Rav 4, I worked with Michael Tsuji and William Churchill. Both were very professional, courteous and actually fun to work with (yes, buying a car can be a fun experience)! I had to bring my toddler with me and was relieved to find a play farm, house and little tykes picnic table, along with plenty of snacks in the waiting area that entertained him! When a toddler is happy, everyone is happy! :) William even happily watched my toddler (and he loved William) as I cleaned out my car upon purchasing my new Rav! It was Thanksgiving Eve and though I was eager to get home to my family, I was having a great time at Stevinson! More
